"Kid. Kid. Wake up kid." Someone said in lightly accented English.

I felt something poke my side, so I jumped up and pulled out my knife, naturally falling into a defensive stance.

"Woah kid. Calm down. It's seven in the morning and we need you and your boyfriend to leave soon," the voice said.

I opened my eyes to see a fairly tall and skinny guy in front of me, who was wearing a white long sleeve polo with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and a yellow and black tie.

"Wait. What time is it?" I asked.

"Seven in the morning. Employees will start to come in half an hour, so we need to get you guys out."

"Holy schist! Solace! Get up! It's one in the morning back home!" I yelled at Will.

"What? Wait. Did you say one a.m?" Will drowsily said.

"Yes! I need to shadow-travel us back home!"

"Wait. Did you say shadow travel? Are you Nico Di Angelo?" the employee asked.

"Um, yeah?"

The guy squealed, and excitedly said "Oh my gods! Can I take a picture with you? Can you sign it?"

"Um, sure?" I replied. "Why am I so important?"

"Because of your accomplishment! In our wizarding school, you are known as an untrained wizard who was able to apparate across across the world! Even after we were told about the rest of the demigod population, you were still the only person who could travel that far without purposely using your magical core!"

"Magical core?"

"Well yeah! Hecate is an underworld goddess. All children of the underworld have magical cores. You can draw on them to enhance your powers"

"I'm not even going to question it. You still want a picture?"

"Oh my gods yes!"

After he took a picture of us together and I signed it, I grabbed Will and shadow traveled us back to Camp Half-Blood, where I collapsed onto my bed while holding Will close to my heart.
