《The Gotham Ghost King》Sunshine and Angels

Day one of living here. Already horrible. I got back at five am, and came out of my room around seven, a time that I heard is normal for mortals. Dick was already at school, Bruce was at work, and Jason had been kicked out by Bruce before he left. Alfred offered to show me around Gotham, but I politely refused and told him I would be taking a walk.

Since then, I've dropped off sixteen criminals at the police station, fixed fifteen storefronts with duct tape and superglue, and I've taken down a small gang already. It's not even noon yet!

Day two. Yesterday all I did was wander around and take down criminals. Today the plan is to go to Camp Half-Blood and pick up Will so we can go on a date in France, and the plan is to finish the day by having a picnic on the Eiffel Tower. He had managed to get us tickets to the Eiffel Tower through the demigod underground.

Demigods that work at monuments created an underground organization where they sell tickets to the places after hours, while having descendants of Hecate set up wards and stability 'spells' around the area. Places like the Space Needle, the Torch of the Statue of Liberty, and the Louvre are open to demigods that way.

I shadow traveled to Camp Half-Blood, and the second I arrived, I got tackled onto my bed by a tall blond mess. "Neeks!" he shouted.

"Will. I've only been gone for three hours!"

"I know, but still! I missed you! Now eat. I've got fruit for us to eat for a bit."

I picked up an orange on the table and said "I'll give you five drachmas if you can catch an orange piece in your mouth."

"That's easy!"

"Do it then."

I chucked the orange piece at him, which hit him in the middle of his forehead.

"No fair! You didn't warn me!" he exclaimed.

"Excuses. Heads up!"

The orange slice flew across the bed and landed right between his eyes.

"Hey! I wasn't ready yet!"

"I warned you!"

"One more try!"

I groaned and said "Fine Sunshine. One more chance. Ready?"

"Ready little angel."

This time, I threw a full orange at him, which he caught with his mouth.

"What did you do that for?" he whined.

"Do what? Warn you?"

"Throw a whole orange! Unpeeled!"

"You still caught it."

In retaliation, he chucked a wad of grapes at my forehead, which I dodged, but it was quickly followed by a pear that was flying towards my face. That managed to smack me in the forehead, but I retaliated with a handful of raspberries that stained his cheek as he jumped up and threw blueberries at me.

A few hours later we were both lying down on my bed with stains covering us and tie dyed walls surrounding us.

"You know, we have to clean this up eventually, right?" Will mutters.

I stay silent for a moment. "What if we get the Aphrodite cabin to do it because we need to get ready for our very romantic date?"

"That night actually work!" He exclaimed. "Hades, I might be able to get my siblings to help!"

"I'll go get the Aphrodite kids and you'll go get your siblings? Then we can go change and go to Paris early? Or should we change first?"

"Change first." Will says immediately. "Changing into our outfits will make us more believable. Then we can go early and pick up some food for our dinner."

"Sounds good. I'll lock up some of my stuff after we change."

Many hours later found us at the second level of the Eiffel Tower with a picnic blanket and a basket of pasteries and fruit.

"The city is beautiful, isn't it my angel?"

"It is, but do you know what's more beautiful then that sunshine?" I mumered.

"What?"

"You."

The night was spent with my boyfriend on top of the Eiffel Tower, just the two of us and a picnic for us to eat.
