《The Gotham Ghost King》Meeting the Waynes

We left the police station and got into his car, and he drove us to Wayne Manor, a large mansion on the outskirts of Gotham.
He pulled into the driveway, and we walked inside the house. "Alfred," Bruce called out as soon as we walked through the doors.
"Yes Master Bruce?"
"Can you get the boys and bring them to the main living room for me?"
"Sure Master Bruce. Should I be in attendance?"
"Of course Alfred." Bruce turned around, and walked off slowly
The butler spun on his heel and walked off. He called out "We shall be there in five minutes," as he left.
A few minutes later, and Bruce walked through an open door, through which we entered a well furnished living room. Inside were numerous bookshelves, three couches, five armchairs, and two tables. Sitting on one of the couches were two black-haired boys, and the older man was standing next to them.
"Nico, these are my two sons, and Alfred, our butler, who you have already met," Bruce said.
The taller boy stood up and shook my hand. "Hi. I'm Richard Grayson. Call me Dick. I'm twenty, and I'm currently attending Gotham Uni."
"What's your major?" I asked.
"I'm majoring in criminal justice and minoring in psych."
"Studying for detective work I see."
"Correct. I'm looking to join Gotham's police force after I graduate."
"I wish you the best of luck."
The shorter boy stayed seated with his arms crossed, and gruffly said "I'm Jason Todd. Eighteen. I'm attending Gotham High as a senior."
"Do you have any plans," I asked.
A mild look of surprise flashed through his eyes before he responded "Not really. I might end up doing some freelance work, or go to college and get a degree."

"Huh. Well. My name is Nick Dalton. I'm 17, and I am a Italian immigrant, though I do have my citizenship."
Bruce seemed like he was about to comment, but his watch beeped and the four other people in the room looked at each other.
"Why don't you come with me, Nico. I can show you to your room."
I picked up my bag and we walked through the mansion until Alfred stopped walking. "This one is your room," he said, while pointing at a door. "The one across from it is Dick'sp. Dining room is down the hall, fifth door to the right. If you need me at any time, just walk into the hallway and yell my name, or push the small button above the door handle. Goodnight."
"Night."
I walked inside of my room, and it was gorgeous. There were bookshelves and couches around the room, as well as a kitchenette. There were also three doors scattered around the room, not including the entrance. The first one was set high up on the wall, above an inset desk area. I walked up the stairs, and inside was a bed with lights and a small cubby for water or books.
The second door led to a nice bathroom, while the third door led to a walk-in closet. Nothing in the room seemed to be special, but this entire house belongs to Batman. There's bound to be something here. Everything in the bathroom checked out, as well as the closet.
I looked at the bookshelves and one book was sticking out slightly. I pulled on it, and the bookshelf swung inward. Inside the secret room, there was a treadmill, a fighting dummy, a weapons stand, and a punching bag.
I left the room and closed the door, and unpacked some of my stuff into the closet. Two sets of clothes, art supplies and a couple of apples. Just enough to make it seem like I had been living on the streets. Since I was finished settling in, I got into bed, rolled around a few times under the sheets, and then I shadow-traveled to Camp Half-Blood in order to take a nap with Will.

Quest of the Seal Bearers - Book 1: The Warriors Return

Fantasma, leader of the global government, and his colleagues are determined to find cause of these attacks. but the search for answers points them to an ancient relic, The Book of War, a cursed artifact that can create indestructible creatures loyal to its master. It’s been over twelve thousand years since the Book of War was last opened. It was believed to be destroyed during the Great War by the Twelve Warriors and Daughter of the Sun at the cost of their lives. Now, it seems the book has resurfaced, and its new master is seeking to forever tip the balance of power. The stage is being set for another Great War but who can stop the Book of War once and for all? Meanwhile on Earth, the teen members of Greengale’s Action and Adventure Club are preparing for their yearly trip when they suddenly stumble upon a secret their parents have been keeping for years. Now their world is being turned upside down as they struggle to understand the legacy that ties their fate to Mendala and the Book of War. Is their destiny set in stone, or will they forge a different path? No matter what, their choices will bring forth a new era for Mendala. ------------------------------ If you love vast fantasy worlds, rich, fleshed-out characters, and a adventure where your'e constantly discovering new things along the way, then this is definitely a story you'll enjoy. This is a slow-burn high fantasy / adventure with many characters and intersecting plotlines. It’s a quest so lots of adventuring, exploring, and character moments, but not a ton of fighting/action (though there are definitely some great fight scenes as payoff to the buildup). Because it’s a fantasy world with lots of people and new concepts, I try to make it easy so that you don’t have to memorize anything. The narrative will constantly remind you of important people/places/concepts as you keep moving forward. Some things won’t be fully explained right at the beginning to avoid information overload. My goal is that the reader will learn things organically as the story progresses. I use two mechanisms to help with the intersecting plotlines. - Each chapter is named for the (main) plotline it’s following and which part. - At the beginning of the chapter, and anytime there is a scene shift, the location is listed. Also, though this is definitely a portal-fantasy (isekai) it’s different from the standard isekai, especially since the world transfer doesn’t happen immediately. It’s not Lit-RPG but characters gain powers and grow over time. Also, it’s a group of teens that transfer, not just one central character. All of the teens are distinct characters, with their own character-arcs, relationships, powers, growth etc. Hopefully you’ll find this interesting as you’ll see the world and story from multiple perspectives. The story is always in 3rd Person (Omniscient) POV so that it’s not jarring as perspectives shift.
