The door slammed open and Lizzy looked at us, slightly confused. The room had gone from terrifyingly loud to deathly silent within a second.
"What's going on?" She asked.
No one answered so I maned up and said it. "I'm proving a point."
"Well, it looks like you got your point across. Just in time too, we just reached the border. Within the next ten minutes or so, we'll be docking at Savannah. Get your friends ready."
Nodding, I watched as Lizzy left the room. Slowly, I stepped off my throne, the table which I had imprinted my boots on, and glanced at Luke and James. I walked out of the room as the others went back to their normal habits of doing whatever the hell they did.
I made my way to the cabins.
"Wake up!" I yelled into the boys room. Peter didn't move. Oh, this would be fun. I gripped the side of the hammock and pulled up, dumping Peter onto the ground with a rough thud.
"What the hell, Akira?!" He yelled.
"You didn't wake up when I yelled so I tried another way."
"There are better ways to wake me up, you know." He said, a smirk on his face and a glint in his eyes.
"I'm going to choose to ignore that. For now, at least."
I caught his smirk grow into a full grown smile as he stood and I left the room. I headed across the hall and opened the door to our room.
Jessica's face was still buried in Zero's fur and I wasn't entirely sure she was breathing. She'd regret that. I tip toes over, making as little noise as possible and stood behind Jessica, still formulating the finishing touches of a plan in my mind.
"Don't you dare," Jessica said. "I am not afraid to rip those black wings right of your back and make a nice pillow out of them."
"Point taken," I said backing away slowly. "We'll be at port in a few minutes, time to get up."
She let out a long exaggerated sigh and pushed herself up, letting her brown hair cover the sides of her face.
"You want me to wake Zero up?" She asked.

"No," I said, "there's a fun way of waking up creatures with sharp hearing."
"And what's that?"
I smirked, leaning into Zero's pointed ear. I squeezed my lips together and let out a loud whistle, straight into his ear.
He woke with a screech.
"Bitch move, Akira!"
"You're awake, aren't you?"
He didn't answers as he stood up. He shook his fur, returning it to its former fluffiness.
I tipped as the ship slowed and all movement stopped.
"Looks like we're there," I said.
We walked out to see that the others were already there and waiting.
"What took you so long?" James asked, smiling with his childlike joy.
"Well," Lizzy said coming up behind us, "it was a pleasure having you aboard the mighty Siren. I hope our paths will cross again some day, your Highness."
I smirked at her. "The Siren, huh?"
"Ironic, right? I wasn't even the one who named it that, it was the former captain."
"Unbelievably ironic," I said. "I guess this is goodbye."
"Until another day," she said, smiling that drop dead gorgeous smile that could have all the guys fawning to her. She held her hand out to me.
"Until another day," I replied, taking it.
We walked towards the dock and down the plank. The whole way I received mock 'your highness's'.
"So, do you just go around telling everyone who you are?" Peter asked. "Except us, apparently."
"The crew doesn't know who I am. Only the captain."
"Then why the hell are they calling you your highness?"
"Things happened," I answered, avoiding his eyes.
"What kind of things?" He asked.
"Akira got into a fight with some of the crew, whooped his ass, and earned the name Queen of the Kitchen," James said.
Dammit! If he weren't so innocent I'd whoop HIS ass.
"Akira," Peter said, a bit too calmly, "what did they do to invoke your anger?"
I looked away, biting my bottom lip in nervousness.
"They hit on her," Luke said.
"Okay! You, I'm not afraid to beat!"
He held his hands in mock surrender.
"Remind me not to let you walk around alone anymore," he said, grabbing my hand. I happily let him.

"Hey, guys," Jessica said, "you might wanna take a look at this."
When I looked up from our connected hands, I saw what Jessica was talking about. The streets of the small city we had landed in were crowded with humans, Demons, and Angels. Each species was living together in close to perfect harmony. Well, harmony until a fight broke out.
"The fuck!" One of them yelled, a human. In his hands, he held the shirt of a poor Demon boy. The boy didn't look older than fifteen. His black bat like wings were pulled tightly against his back and his eyes were wide with fear. "You dare steal from me? You little shit!"
"I swear!" The Demon boy begged. "I-I didn't steal anything! Promise!"
The human raised his fist in the air, making the demon flinch.
"Alright," I said, emerging from the crowd that had formed around the two, "why don't we just calm down."
"You little bitch," the human said, "get out of the way."
"I'm sorry, did you just call me a bitch?" I asked, grabbing into his wrist and squeezing. I could talk that he felt the pain when his eye flinched, so I squeezed harder, digging my nails into his skin. He dropped the Demon who fell to the ground, keeping his hand near his neck as he scrambled behind me. "I think you just called me a bitch."
In his panic, his other arm shot out as he punched me in the face, and I mean he actually punched me. His fist connected with my face.
"Bad move," I heard Luke say from the crowd. He knew what was coming.
I squeezed harder, listening to the crack of his wrist and the scream as he fell the the ground. Before I could attack him, arms wrapped around my waist.
"Let me at him!" I yelled. "Let me at him! The dick punched me first, let me punch him twice, for good measure."
"Calm down," Peter said. "Good girl."
He pulled me away as we fled the crowd. I looked ahead to see the Jessica had thrown the struggling Demon boy over Zero's back. We turned down an old alleyway. Ah, alleys; my best friend. I seemed to end up in them often. I caught myself searching the walls for a door that may lead to a black market shop.
"You should've let me punch him," I said.
"You broke his wrist," Peter said.
"He punched my face."
"He didn't hit you that hard. Actually, you look fine."
"Yeah, but it's the thought that counts."
I turned back to the Demon. His hands were trembling uncontrollably.
"What's wrong?" Jessica asked. When she reached out for him, he flinched away, towards Zero. "Sit still so I can get a good look at you."
He obeyed, though he still shook. Jessica took a hold of his chin and tilted his head up, examining his neck. He only grabbed him by the collar of the shirt, so I don't knew what could've happened to his neck.
"Did he hurt you anywhere?" Jessica asked.
The Demon shook his head, a no.
"What's wrong with you?" I asked.
"You...you're new here?" He asked, looking me in the eyes. The shaking seemed to subside, for the most part.
I nodded.
"Then, I guess you wouldn't know. Here, in Savannah, most humans don't look at Demons and Angels all that differently. Still, there are a few, like that man in the market, who think other species are below humans. So, they'll blame us for little things and get us arrested. Sometimes, the officials aren't fair and they'll sell us...for..."
"Don't say anymore," I said, rubbing my hands through his black hair. "What's your name?"
"Haru."
"Haru then, keep safe. Don't let them push you around like that. It's considered self defense if you let them hit you first."
I walked in the other direction.
"Wait!" Haru yelled. "Can I stick with you guys? You know, for safety purposes."
"Haru, staying with us is gonna put you in even more danger than being by yourself."
"But, you're strong. Please, let me come with you."
I turned to Peter and whispered in his ear.
"Please, let me take care of my people."
Peter glanced from me to Haru and back to me.
"I suppose."
I smiled, giving him a small kiss on the cheek.
"Welcome to team Akira," I said, smiling.
His eyes widened with shock.
