"Hey, Winn. What's got you so smiley?"- Alex

I turned around in my chair to look at my friend Alex Danvers and I saw she was in her D.E.O. gear.

Oh crap right right. My name's Winn Schott and I work for the Department of Extranormal Operations. Or D.E.O. for short I used to work at CatCo but, I decided that working with the people who change the world by fighting aliens would be more of my speed.

"Well you see Alex my cousin is coming over all the way from New York to visit."- Winn

"Hehe, your cousin must be special then if they've got you this excited."- Alex

"Um yeah, my cousin and I go way back, like before we started to walk 'back'. He's my best friend and he's more to me than just a cousin he's like a brother."- Winn

"Well that's nice. When can we see this cousin?"- Alex

"Oh he should be here in the next 2 hours. Just enough time for me to get ready."- Winn

"Ready for what might I ask?"- John

"Winn's cousin is apparently coming over. And he's on cloud 9."- Alex

"Well I wouldn't say cloud 9."- Winn

"You face is glowing Winn."- Alex

"Well like I told you he's important to me. He's always been there for me and I've always been there for him. Especially when my dad went to prison and my mom left me. And if it wasn't for him and our aunt I don't know where I would be right now."- Winn

"Well I'd actually like to meet him if he's got you this happy."- Alex

"If that's the case then let's go. I'm sure my cousin wouldn't mind spending time with one of my new friends."- Winn

"New?"- Alex

"I didn't really have that many friends growing up, okay?"- Winn

It's been about 2 hours now both Alex and I are at the air port and we're both just waiting. I was looking through the crowd of people concerned to see someone walking with the bag. A few people start to move out away and I got a good clear look at who it was it was my cousin, the one and only (y/n) Parker.

"Yo Parker!"- Winn

That got his attention, he was looking around frantically until he saw me he got a big smile on his face and he starts to lightly jog to me. I did the same and we both just gave each other a hug.

"Aaaaah what's up Winn!?"- (y/n)

The two separated and did their secret handshake that they invented when they were kids.

"Oh well look who my cousin brought. A girl, is she like....you know?"- (y/n)

"What no no oh ugh no!"- Winn

"Thanks Winn."- Alex

"We're just joking. Hi I'm (y/n), (y/n) Parker."- (y/n)

My cousin held out is hand for a handshake and Alex gladly accepted it. We started to walk to a different section of the airport because apparently my cousin had more luggage just one more that is. When we got there a little cage came up and (y/n) grabbed it and I only know one thing that can be.

"Is this who I think it is?"- Winn

"Oh yeah he wanted to come too."- (y/n)

My cousin undid the lock that was on the cage and I what you guys are thinking you would expect like a dog or a cat or something. But, no my cousin has something that's a little bit more special than a dog or cat.

"Hey Rocket, it's so good to see you."- Winn

"I'm sorry is that a raccoon?"- Alex

"Yeah his name is Rocket. When me and when were younger we found them when he was pretty injured. Took him to the vet got him fixed up and for some reason he didn't want to leave."- (y/n)

I picked up Rocket and he started to give me kisses.

Time skip (Your POV)

It's been about a few good hours since the airport and in that time I got to catch up on what Winn's been up to and how he's been. I even got to know more about his friend Alex and she seemed nice but, both her and Winn had to leave for some type of work stuff leaving both me and Rocket alone in Winn's house.

"Well I'm glad to see Winn's doing okay."- Rocket

I turned my head to look at Rocket and he started to stand on his hind legs and stretch his arms.

"Yeah it's nice to see him happy."- (y/n)

"Do you still think you shouldn't tell him about you know."- Rocket

"Nah, I don't want him to get mixed in with all my issues."- (y/n)

"Dude, you literally found the guy who killed your uncle Ben. Tracked him down here, called your best friend/favorite cousin up asking for a place to stay so you can have a place to sleep. And you think you shouldn't tell him the truth? Doesn't this feel like your using him a bit?"- Rocket

"I know I know it's just I don't know how to tell him. Oh hey Winn, I just wanted to call and say that I've been having super powers for a few years, and well I kind of became a superhero and fight bad guys. With the help of my partner raccoon whom we have known ever since we were 12."- (y/n)

"Look, that's not what I'm saying what I am saying is that you should at least tell him the real reason why you're here."- Rocket

"You know it makes it really hard for me to actually stay here with you guilt tripping me."- (y/n)

"It's not a guilt trip it's me stating a bunch of facts that you don't like hearing. Also do you think he has barbecue chips?"- Rocket

"Probably not. Hey, how long do you think you'll be gone?"- (y/n)

"He said a few hours why?"- Rocket

I just smiled at Rocket and ran over to my luggage I got from the airplane and found two small objects that resemble watches. I lightly tossed one to Rocket it and then put the other one on my wrist and push the button. The moment I did a bunch of red and black stuff started to cover my body to make what look like a suit.

"Let's go explore the city for a little bit."- (y/n)

"Hehehe, you know it's times like these where I'm glad that we're partners."- Rocket

Rocket put the watch on his back and it did the same thing but with orange and black.

(Y/n) open the window and lightly jumped out to stick on the wall outside. Rocket followed suit and jumped right onto his shoulder letting (y/n) shut the window, after that (y/n) jumped off the wall and the two of them start to swing off into the night.
