(No One's POV)

Back at Berk during the day their leader and chieftain was walking around the village to find his two sons.

That man is Stoic The Vast. And he's looked almost everywhere on the island. The boy's room, the forest, the lake, even the boar pit, the last place he has is the dragon arena. When he got there he saw the other riders doing their usual thing but, without Hiccup and (y/n).

"Have any of you seen the sons?"- Stoic

"You mean Hiccup and (y/n)?"- Snotlout

"Yes, I've been looking for them all morning. But, I can't find them anywhere."- Stoic

"Well sorry to say but, we haven't seen them either."- Fishlegs

"Both Hiccup and (y/n) are nowhere to be found? That's not like them. They would be back by now."- Stoic

"Do you have any idea when they left?"- Astrid

"That's the thing I went to their room this morning they were gone."- Stoic

"They snuck off during the night? Why would they do something like that?"- Fishlegs

"Maybe we should just ask Hiccup."- Ruffnut

"And how pray tell do you suppose we do that?"- Stoic

"Oh that's easy, we turn around and ask him."- Tuffnut

"What in Thor's name are you two talking about!?"- Snotlout

Both the twins pointed right behind them to answer his question. The moment they turned around they saw Hiccup flying in extremely fast on Toothless. The second he landed in the arena everyone took notice that both Hiccup and Toothless are out of breath. Not only that but, (y/n) is no where to be seen.

"Hiccup! Thank the gods I was worried about you. Wait where is your brother?"- Stoic

"Not now everyone needs to get down!!"- Hiccup

"Hiccup what's going on?"- Astrid

"Just get down!!"- Hiccup

"What was that!?"- Snotlout

"What I'm trying to tell you to get down for now!!!"- Hiccup

Everyone one started to run around and find something to hide behind until they start to hear a strange noise coming from the sky.

"Incoming!"- Hiccup

A red blur flew over there heads dropping something in the center of the arena. It looked like some kind of a dead sea dragon because it was covered in water. They're getting ready to come out until something landed on it.

"What!?"- Snotlout

"In the!?"- Ruff & Tuffnut

"Name of!?"- Fishlegs & Astrid

"THOR IS THAT THING!?!!!?"- Stoic

"I'll explain later!"- Hiccup

While everyone was in a state of panic they all came to notice that the new dragon had (y/n) wrapped in it's tail. Stoic was about to take action and get his son but, Hiccup jumped out of hiding and ran over to it.

"Hiccup no!"- Stoic

"Jetwing! Jetwing easy!"- Hiccup

"Did he just say Jetwing!?"- Snotlout

"Wait that little baby dragon from yesterday!?"- Tuffnut

"Awe they grow up so fast."- Ruffnut

"Put me down! Hey!"- (y/n)

Jetwing held up (y/n) from his tail and looked at him in confusion.

"Down! Put. Me. Down!"- (y/n)

Jetwing did what (y/n) said and let him down. When (y/n) met the ground he ran over to Hiccup and the both of them backed up while Jetwing started to dig into his meal.

"Are you okay?"- Hiccup

"Oh yeah sure I'm fine. After being DRAGGED AROUND ALL NIGHT BY A DRAGON THAT FLYS FASTER THEN HERMES HIMSELF HICCUP!!!"- (y/n)

"Will someone please tell me what's going on!?"- Stoic

Both (y/n) and Hiccup looked at each other and seemed like they're having a mental debate with each other until they both nodded.

"Dad."- Hiccup

"We have a lot to tell you."- (y/n)

After the boys told me what happened I was left speechless. That new looking dragon was Jetwing, (y/n) can do magic and so much more. And I thought learning how to train and ride dragons was crazy but, this is something else.

"Dad?"- (y/n)

"Your uh. Your very quiet."- Hiccup

"And that's not normal."- (y/n)

"Well what do you expect me to say? It's a lot you are putting on me sons. I can handle the whole Dragon thing, I can handle the whole you too sneaking off on your own. But what I can't handle is the fact that you were keeping something like this from me. What you're telling me is insane, you expect me to believe that these tattoos give (y/n) some sort of magical powers. And I'm just supposed to sit back and accept that!? And not only that but, besides dragons there are monsters out there."- Stoic

"Dad you saw him shoot a fire arrow. Without lighting it."- Hiccup

"And I'd actually like to ask a few questions about that!"- Fishlegs

"Not now Fishlegs!"- (y/n)

Fishlegs put his hand down and grew a sad expression on his face. But I don't really care much about that what I do care about is what's going on with my kids. So what am I going to do with these two? While I was trying to think I saw that Jetwing creeped up right behind (y/n) and nudged his leg. In response (y/n) turned his head to see what he wanted and Jetwing gave him a piece of what he brought in.

"Uh no thanks Jetwing. I like my um.... whatever that is-"- (y/n)

As if the dragon was reading the boys mind it is shot out a small red fire to perfectly cook whatever it is he brought.

"Cooked......uuuhhh."- (y/n)

(Y/n) start to look between both Hiccup and I for answers. Unluckily for him hiccup just motioned for him to eat it and understandably (y/n) was hesitant but, eventually ate it. He didn't really seem to mind it though and fact he seemed to enjoy it.

"Huh.. this isn't actually that bad and it's perfectly cooked."- (y/n)

"What? Let me see that."- Hiccup

Hiccup took a piece of the now cooked food (y/n) had and ate it, giving the exact same response as his brother. I myself was curious but I held off for that because of this is a serious matter.

"Dad listen please let us do this. The second we see it's too much for us to handle will bow out. We're reckless not crazy."- Hiccup

"And besides as long as I'm there with Hiccup you know good and well nothing bad will happen."- (y/n)

"I am aware of that but this isn't about Hiccup. It's about you son, you're the one this is directly affecting. As a father I don't know if I can let you do this."- Stoic

"We won't be going in blind...... please dad."- (y/n)

There was nothing but silence between all of us. They both were just patiently waiting for my answer Hiccup looks very eager and as for (y/n) his they showed nothing but determination. These two have grown up side by side ever since they were babies, and then so they have been watching each other's backs just like brothers should.

"*Sigh* Alright but, I swear to thor if this thing causes us any trouble."- Stoic

"He won't we promise."- (y/n)

"Alright then....good luck."- Stoic

TIMESKIP (NO ONE'S POV)

This is the start of Jetwings dragon training. And well you could say it's going good or you can say.

"Jetwing stay. Staaaaaaaaay."- (y/n)

Jetwing won't stay still long enough for them to start. Everytime (y/n) tries to leave Jetwing in one area of the arena so they can do the training he just walks right behind him.

"Well I guess Jetwing has already made a connection with you. Which is strange most the time the dragons won't trust you that fast. Well minus my quite Meatlug."- Fishlegs

"Oh yeah sure, compare that to a friendly and sweet gronckle."- Snotlout

"Moving on from that. I want to see how this thing flys."- Astrid

"Oh yes! It was so cool and fast how it just. Brrwaaaaaaaaaahhh! And Yerrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!"- Tuffnut

"And then when it landed it was like raaaaaaaaaaaaaahh!!!!"- Ruffnut

"NO!"- (y/n) & Hiccup

"We are holding off from flying!"- (y/n)

"At least until we get a better understanding of this dragon."- Hiccup

Everyone was shocked to see Hiccup of all people to say no to dragon testing. Especially a new species even though that Jetwing is classified as a monster he looks very dragon like.

"Wait Hiccup, the guy who's pretty much responsible for us all learning how to ride dragons is saying no to riding a new dragon!?"- Tuffnut

"Haahahahahahah!"- Snotlout

"Quiet Snotlout I'm sure there's a good reason."- Astrid

"Yeah, they wet their pants at the sight of this thing! Hahaha it's not even as big as Hookfang!"- Snotlout

The two brothers had a blank expression on their faces and looked at one another to share a nod. (Y/n) got Jetwings attention and pointed to Snotlout which he understood. Jetwing ran over to Snotlout and grabbed him by the back of his vest with his beak and started to run out of the arena and take off flying at Sonic speed.

"AAAAAAAAAAAH!!! HOOKFANG!!!!!"- Snotlout

"Oh my Thor! That's incredible it has to be faster than a Night Fury!"- Astrid

"Must be because of the Dragon element that's shooting out of its wings."- Fishlegs

"Surprised you actually remember that Fishlegs."- Hiccup

"Hey we are talking about something very new and undiscovered here. By the way don't you think you should call him back?"- Fishlegs

"Right right..... One problem though."- (y/n)

"What is it?"- Astrid

"I don't know how to call him back."- (y/n)

"SOMEONE SAVE ME!!!!"- Snotlout

Timeskip

So after Jetwing finished terrifying Snotlout they got right back to his training. First thing they did was make a command or a call that he'll only know to answer to. Which ended up being a type of hand whistle, next up was the trust bond. The key to this is to trust that the dragon will catch you when you fall however normally you need to show the dragon that he can trust you. What (y/n) had to do was blindfold Jetwing and help steer him in the right direction so he won't hit any objects. It goes without saying that they both completed it with flying colors it already seems like Jetwing trust (y/n) with their limited time together. Next was the dragon trust fall, what you're supposed to do is fly high in the air on the back of your dragon and pretend to fall off trusting that the dragon will catch you. But, considering both Hiccup & his brother want to hold off on flying for a good bit what they did was fly into the sky on Toothless and let (y/n) fall off. Shockingly to everybody the moment Jetwing saw (y/n) fall he went straight for him and caught him effortlessly with his claws.

"This is by far one of the most remarkable things I have ever seen. Jetwing is already acting like a trained dragon."- Fishlegs

"I know it's like they both have a psychic connection. It took me a good bit to get a good hang of Stormfly and yet these two are doing it like it's nothing."- Astrid

"The only thing that's left if I recall is flying."- Tuffnut

"Ah!!!"- Snotlout

"Guys I thought we agreed."- (y/n)

"We know, we know but, you've got to admit it is the only thing left. And he is the fastest dragon we've ever seen."- Ruffnut

"Yeah, we really wanted to see it shoot those things out of its wings again!"- Tuffnut

"...... Well as much as I would hate to admit it. They have a point bro."- Hiccup

"Well.... okay."- (y/n)
