It's been a good 12 hours since Jetwing hatched from his egg. Oh yeah I decided to call the dragon Jetwing, other than that I've been looking at this book have been reading up on what Jetwing is and what he can do when he's older. A Valstrax flies at high speed by discharging Dragon Element energy from its wings. It can manipulate the alignment and shape of its wings to vary the attacks it uses. When its wings are in its usual backwards-facing position, Valstrax will commonly lunge forward and swipe at hunters with its front claws or try to take a bite at them. I can feel my curiosity overwhelm me wanting to know more about what's in this book and what more I can find. But, I had to stop that train of thought when I saw Hiccup come in to our house.

"Hey (y/n) there you are."- Hiccup

"What's up?"- (y/n)

"Nothing really how's Jetwing?"- Hiccup

"Well."- (y/n)

I motioned over to my right to show hiccup that Jetwing was sleeping soundly on my bed. I've got to say for just being a newborn that dragon has a lot of energy. Seriously he kept on jumping all over the place and trying to get me to chase him. Whenever he saw that I was just sitting around you would find the need to jump on me and try to playfully peck my face.

"Well that's good but, I should probably say why I really came here."- Hiccup

"I'm listening."- (y/n)

"I was just thinking maybe both me and you can go back to the island, and see what else we can find. If you found that book and Jetwing there, who knows what else we'll be able to find."- Hiccup

"What about the others?"- (y/n)

"I would like them to come but I feel like this would be a lot more effective if it was just me and you. Come on me and you are more alike than we like to admit. We may not be blood but we act like we have the same mind."- Hiccup

"You know I hate it when you have a point."- (y/n)

"So what do you say up for a little brotherly bonding field trip?"- Hiccup

It didn't really take me that long to come to a conclusion. Whenever me or hiccup go on our little adventures together we always have a lot of fun and I could use some fun nowadays. I just not in my head at him in agreement and he returned it. But, I told him we should probably wait until it's night time or something. At least that way we won't be spotted and we'll just fly on Toothless, seriously having a night fury is very useful for stealth.

Night time had came and everyone was sleeping except for both Hiccup and I we are sneaking out on Toothless back. I watched our back while Hiccup watched the left and right, Toothless was watching the front. No one was around and we flew off as fast as we could.

"Well this is exciting right? How often do we get to do stuff like this?"- Hiccup

"Well there was that one time when we were 7 years old and we went sheep hunting so we could make softer beds."- (y/n)

"Oh yeah! Dad was so made. And if not to mention because the sheep stampede."- Hiccup

"Then that one time Fishlegs and I thought we saw a new species of dragon."- (y/n)

"Man those are good old times."- Hiccup

Well we're flying we just did we usually did and talk about the old days and along with some other stuff. Like for example what I found in the book about Jetwing, and to his surprise I actually brought the book with me. Time seemed to be flying by until we made it back to the island or to say the least the cave and something weird started to happen.

"Hey your arm!"- Hiccup

I looked at my right arm with the marks on it and it was glowing. I looked at Hiccup and he nodded, we started to walk into the cave and Hiccup it was amazed by what he saw. Me however I've already seen it but what I did get amazed by was the fact that the writing on the wall started to glow and light the way. We finally made it to the part of the cave where I found the book and Hiccup.

"Oh my ** uuugh"- Hiccup

"Breath through your mouth. And don't think about it. Trust me this isn't easy for me either."- (y/n)

"Okay okay I'm going. So where did you find the egg and the book?"- Hiccup

"The book was in this guy's hand. But, that was the only visible thing I found I didn't really explore this cave."- (y/n)

"Alright let's look around."- Hiccup

The two boys started to look around the cave trying to ignore all the Dead skeletons and other things. So far they didn't really find anything that out of place. Except for when (y/n) found a word with shaped sword.

"Never seen a sword like this before."- (y/n)

"Hey over here!"- Hiccup

(Y/n) ran over to his brother to see what he had found and it looked like a little notebook.

"It's blank just like the book."- Hiccup

(Y/n) walked up to Hiccup and touched the book with his marked arm and I have the exact same reaction as the monster block. (Y/n) took it from Hiccup and started to open it and was shocked.

"Hiccup.....This is a Spell Book."- (y/n)

"A-a what!?"- Hiccup

Hiccup quickly got up and got next to (y/n) and was waiting for him to read.

"If you have found this cave and have found the monster book and are reading these pages congratulations you are now a hunter."- (y/n)

"We know all this skip skip to the magic part!"- Hiccup

"In this book you will find a variation of spells and other things that help you to become a great hunter. First thing you need to learn is the use of magic. When using magic be wary of your use of mana, your mana is what is used to draw out your magic. Thanks to the markings on your arm that is what helps you draw out your mana. Every person and living thing has mana they just can't access it like a hunters can. Not unless they have the markings of a hunter. Let's try simple spell, you will need a bow and an arrow."- (y/n)

"Good thing you never leave without those."- Hiccup

(Y/n) seemed to have looked at the book for a few seconds longer and gave it to Hiccup. He took the arrow and holsters it getting ready to fire, but not before he started to speak.

"setha lo mcibisholo ngomlilo weHayidese."- (y/n)

The moment he finished saying those words the tattoos on his arm started to glow and the arrows tip set itself on fire. And in response (y/n) dropped it in a panic while Hiccup backed away.

"The heck was that!?"- (y/n)

"Y-you just did magic or at least casted a spell! Oh my Thor this is amazing, this is world changing!!"- Hiccup

The two boys stopped there moment when they heard the sound of a familiar screech. The two looked at each other and ran out side and saw Jetwing flying in super fast.

"Is that...Jetwing?"- (y/n)

"And he's coming in hot!"- Hiccup

But, it was to late Jetwing already crashed into (y/n) causing the both of them to fall to the ground in pain. Jetwing on the other hand seemed to be happy and licked (y/n)'s face in excitement.

"Okay okay! Wait? Hiccup does he seem a bit BIGGER to you?"- (Y/n)

"You know now that you mention it he does seem bigger than when we last saw him. Did the book say anything about accelerated growth?"- Hiccup

"Not that I know of. I've heard that entire page twice just make sure I didn't miss anything there is nothing about accelerated growth."- (y/n)

Well the two are discussing amongst themselves, Jetwing sniffed (y/n) and his eyes dilated running into the cave.

"Jetwing?"- (y/n)

"Maybe he knows that there's something in there."- Hiccup

The two brothers along with Toothless went inside after Jetwing to see what was going on but, when they got in they saw the little dragon clawing at a chest. (Y/n) walked over to the chest and moved Jetwing out the way but he just ran right back at it.

"What's the matter little guy?"- (y/n)

"There must be something in it."- Hiccup

"Do you have anything on you that can probably use like a paperclip? Or something skinny enough for me to use on this lock?"- (y/n)

"I have this knife I use to sharpen my pencil."- Hiccup

"Good enough."- (y/n)

(Y/n) took the knife and started to pick at the lock for a while until it finally popped open. (Y/n) opened it all the was and saw something weird.

"What the?"- (y/n)

"What is it?"- Hiccup

"Look."- (y/n)

When Hiccup looked into the chest he saw a few teeth, fur, claws, small vials of saliva. But the one thing that stood out the most was this weird looking red and black Crystal.

"What kind of crystal is this?"- (y/n)

"I've never seen anything like it."- Hiccup

With out warning Jetwing snatched it out of (y/n)'s hand with his beak and swallowed it whole. As that happened Jetwing started to glow red and run out the cave.

"Jetwing!?"- (y/n)

"Leave the chest for now let's get Jetwing!"- Hiccup

Both Hiccup and (y/n) ran out side for Jetwing but, the moment they got out they saw Jetwing yelling like it was in pain and falling over. That was until his entire body started to Glow even brighter so much so that it almost blinded both Hiccup and (y/n). When they uncovered their eyes they were completely shocked to see what had happened to little baby Jetwing.
