《How to train a dragon (male reader)》This is berk

This is Berk. For generations it was viking against dragon, the battles were ferocious then one day everything changed. A boy named hiccup meant a dragon he named toothless, and thanks to the two of them everyone learned that Vikings and dragons can live together, work together and even train the dragons to ride them. But that's not what's important right now, even though everything has changed on Berk. There's still one person who's not really that accustomed to all the dragons. In fact here he is right now, he's currently in the middle of a hunt. What is he hunting you might be asking nothing too special just your regular average bore.
This young man goes by the name of (y/n) and he's doing his very best to stay quiet so the wild boar won't hear him. He lightly Drew out one of his arrows from his back pouch and took a aim. He took a good long deep breath and a nice relaxing exhale he had a good aim on the board and fired his arrow and it successfully hits the floor in its side. In normal response the board started to run but it looked like (y/n) didn't really mind all that much you just got up and started to walk after it. A few minutes I passed and he finally caught up to the bore it was laying on the ground breathing heavily with the arrows still in its side. It was a poison arrow something (y/n) made specifically for hunting purposes only. He lightly bent down and pulled out a small knife was getting ready to end it.
"Sorry, this will be over quickly."- (y/n)
Doing as he promised (y/n) started to take the knife into the boar's neck making it a quick and painless death. The only reason he's doing this today is because they were running pretty low on food back at his home so he figured he might as well get some good hunting down.
It's only been a few good minutes until (y/n) made it back to the main village of Berk. A few of the Vikings wave to him saying hey and all that stuff and he gladly returned it. A few small dragons tried to pick at the boar that was on his sled.
"Hey! Get! Get you stupid little lizards!"- (y/n)
The dragons he was shooing away were called terrible terrors.

Doing as he said the dragons started to fly off letting him go back to what he was doing. Didn't take him that long until he made it to his home, he's getting ready to open his front door that was until someone came out. The leader are the dragon academy in the first ever person to tame a night fury: Hiccup.
"Oh (y/n) hows it going?"- Hiccup
"It's going fine I guess just got done hunting us down a bore so we can eat dinner tonight."- (y/n)
"Sweet! I love boar."- Hiccup
Both Hiccup and (y/n) are brother you see. Well not by blood, when (y/n) was only a little 2-year-old he was found on the shore of Berk and was taken in by the village chief Stoic the Vast. And surprisingly enough both Hiccup and (y/n) are the same age and considering they don't know when his birthday is the two of them share a birthday.
It wasn't that long until a certain black dragon comes running to the both and starts to wag his tail happily.
"Oh hey bud how'd you sleep?"- Hiccup
Hiccup started to scratch under toothless chin and he did a little dragon purr. Seeing (y/n) toothless jumped over to (y/n) and started to circle him until he rubbed his head on his side like a cat would to someone they like. In response (y/n) just scratched the dragons head and toothless purred again.
"So um, been meaning to ask and thought now would be a good time so."- Hiccup
"No thanks."- (y/n)
"But, you don't even know what I was going to say."- Hiccup
"You want me to join your team?"- (y/n)
"..... Okay so you do know. But, come on it would be great having you as a rider with us."- Hiccup
"Look Hiccup I'm not that good with dragons like you and the others."- (y/n)
"What do you mean!? Look at you and toothless you two get along well."- Hiccup
"Hiccup, Toothless gets along with everybody....minus Snotlout."- (y/n)
"Look, I can understand that working with dragons is a big change but, come on it's just not the same without you there. We've been Brothers for as long as I can remember, and when everyone always thought less of me or made fun of me. You were always there to either cheer me up or stand up for me you even believed me when I told you I found Toothless."- Hiccup

Everything that Hiccup was saying is true, despite them not actually being blood the two of them are as close as brothers could ever get. So much so that (y/n) was the first person Hiccup told about Toothless and kept it a secret. Even went as far as to make up an excuse for Hiccup when he left to go study Toothless for dragon training when they used to fight them.
"Please, all I'm asking is you just come for one day two at best. Not as a friend or a favor but, as a brother."- Hiccup
It looked like (y/n) I was actually giving it some thought until toothless lightly bumped (y/n)'s shoulder with his forehead. Causing him to take a look at the dragon and seeing that he was giving him puppy dog eyes.
"Using your dragon and the brother speech to convince me. Dirty trick."- (y/n)
"Is it working?"- Hiccup
"......*sigh* fine I'll give it two days."- (y/n)
"Yes! Okay meet at the dragon arena when you're done. I'm sure everyone else will be happy that you joined too. Come on bud!"- Hiccup
Hiccup ran over to Toothless and jumped on his back and the two of them started to fly off.
Time skip (Your POV)
About an hour had passed and I was on my way to the dragon arena. I still had some reserves about this whole thing but, again this is for Hiccup. It's not that I don't like dragons, I mean kind of but, can you really blame me? Dragons and Vikings have been fighting for a pretty long time so just up and saying we're going to get along with them now he's kind of weird. Still like I said it's not that I hate them I just don't think I mash well with them. I know no one else has pretty fine but me I don't know.
"Okay guys I have some news well possibly beginning a new recruit to the dragon academy."- Hiccup
"Oh really now? And pray tell who might this new person be?"- Astrid
"It better not be one of the adults. I don't need no stinking geezer cramping my style."- Snotlout
"No no it's well...my brother."- Hiccup
Kind of funny how I could hear everything that was going on even though I was outside the door. I kind of just kept listening again just to see what they were going to say next. I couldn't see it but I can tell a few of them had shocked expressions on their faces.
"Wait wait wait. You mean to tell me that hiccups brother is going to be joining us?"- Ruffnut
"We already have twins we don't need a second pair."- Tuffnut
"We aren't twins. And might be joining us. Using the word might very strongly."- Hiccup
"Sooo, what got him to join?"- fishlegs
"What do you mean?"- Hiccup
"Well your brother isn't necessarily what a lot of people would call. Well a people person."- Fishlegs
"Fishlegs you and him talk all the time."- Hiccup
"Well I mean yeah but, it's not like he's throwing himself to go out and talk to people usually whenever someone talks to him they start the conversation. Not that there's anything wrong with that."- Astrid
"Yeah I try to ask him what did he prefer more between chicken and poultry and he just left grunting."- Tuffnut
"Have you ever thought that he didn't want to answer an obviously stupid question."- Snotlout
"What do you mean?"- Ruffnut
"Chicken and poultry are the same thing. Frankly I'm more surprised that you know that the word poultry even exists."- Astrid
All of what they're saying isn't necessarily wrong. Not the whole chicken thing that is, what I mean is I am a bit of a loner kind of. I just don't really socialize that much people talk to me and I talk to them but, I don't go out of my way to start a conversation. Ever since I was a kid I've always felt out of place like I didn't really belong here. I mean yeah I know I'm not really Hiccup's brother it's just a weird feeling I've always had. No one really knows I feel this way cuz, well like they said I'm pretty much to myself I'm getting rid of that and I decided to make myself known and I'll walk right in.
"Uh hello?"- (y/n)
They all seemed to turn and look at me with a little shock but, not Hiccup. He walked straight over to me and put his arm around my shoulder walking me in.
"Alright, everyone meet our possibly newest dragon Rider."- Hiccup

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
