10 years later...
"Happy birthday dear Peter. Happy birthday to you!" Isa, Ced, Sage, Bea (Sage's wife), and I sing, completely off key. Peter grins at us, before blowing out the candles on the red velvet cake Ced had made.
"Thanks guys!" He says.
"You're legally an adult. How does it feel?" Sage asks as I start cutting up the cake.
Peter smirks. "Considering that legal means nothing to any of us, pretty much the same," he replies, which for some reason makes Bea crack up. While she calms down, I give a piece of cake to everyone, and we all settle on the floor.
Just then, there's a knock on the door. Peter stands up and races to the door before anyone else can, quickly opening it, stepping outside, and closing it again.
We all glance around at each other, thoroughly confused. I strain to hear the muffled voices floating in from outside. I can't pick up anything though, and it seems no one else can either.
A few minutes later, the voices stop. And and the door opens and Peter walks back in, hand in hand with a small Asian boy, about the same age as him. They both wear the same timid smile.
"Moms, Aunt Sage, Aunt Bea, and Uncle Ced," Peter starts. Ced had insisted on being called uncle, even though he was more like a grandfather, since he still acted like my dad. "Meet my boyfriend, Max."
"Hi," Max says, waving. I give him a once over. He was short, around the same height as Isa, with messy black hair and black framed glasses. He was cute, and Peter and Max looked so happy together.
Of course, Max would be interrogated. We all only wanted the best for Peter, meaning that Max had to pass the family seal of approval.

"Hi, Max! I'm Isa, one of Peter's moms. That's Tala, my wife, and his other mom," she said pointing to me.
I smile and wave. "Hi!"
Isa introduces everyone else, and invites them to come sit. I hand Max a piece of cake.
"So how did you guys meet?" Ced asks a few minutes later.
"I helped Peter with his math homework," Max replied. "He's surprisingly bad at it."
Peter rolls his eyes, flicking Max's forehead. "Shut up," he says playfully.
"So what do you like to do?" I ask. "Hobbies and that sort of thing."
"Well, I like to sing," he answers, a little embarrassed.
Isa lights up. "What kinds of songs?"
"I like musicals...." Max trails off.
Isa grins. "Me too! Favorite musical?"
"Hamilton."
I smile. Turning to face Peter, I mouth the words, "I approve."
___
Later, when everyone leaves, I pull Isa and Peter into a hug.
"I love you both so much," I whisper into the hug.
"Love you too," Peter mumbles.
"I love you more," Isa whispers back.
___
A/N- Okay so... Scarlet Wolf is officially over. I might write a few bonus chapters in Isa's POV, so tell me what you guys think of that. Second of all, Tala and Isa's part of the story may be ending, but I have a few ideas on a sequel about Peter and Max, if you guys want.
Also, I'm rewriting my book The Dream Walkers. It's going to have some major changes, as well as be gay, so please check that out when I start posting it again.
Finally, I want to make some acknowledgements. I'd like to thanks and for being there since the beginning, and commenting and voting. You guys really made me want to continue writing, so thanks so much!
Peace out! -Curly Fries

Shadow in the North
What if a work of fiction wasn't fiction at all? What if we only thought it was fiction because it was written down, and we were separated from it by the page? Isabel Darrow, troubled by her past and feeling disconnected from the world, likes her doctor's suggestion that the world of fiction might become reality. She likes the idea of waking up in the middle of her favourite book with the handsome, brooding Mr Thornton glaring at people in his mill yard, but she doesn't worry about the foul air of dirty, smoky Milton, because it's not real, and it was written over 160 years ago.But then she takes a trip to Oxford, and gets waylaid along the way, finding herself greeted at a smoky train station, by a man called Mr Hale, who claims to be her godfather. When Isabel meets Margaret and first sees Mr Thornton, she's determined to help the course of love run a little more smoothly for the two stubborn lovers. But Gaskell hadn't accounted for a second young lady in the Crampton house, and whilst Isabel tries to adapt to a life where women have no independence or equality, Milton must adapt to her. The question is, will Mr Thornton adapt to her, or Margaret, first?
