《Scarlet Wolf》31- A Toast

"A toast to the lovely brides!" Ced exclaims, holding up his drink. Sage, Isa and I follow suit, downing the shots.

Our "wedding" had consisted of Isa and I getting marriage licenses, me under my fake name, her under her real one, and Sage inviting us to her house for a celebration.

She had made Jell-O shots, which we had burned through quickly, considering Sage and Ced held alcohol pretty well. I only had one shot, since I was driving us home.

"To love!" Isa added, hugging me from behind. I smile. She was so cute, even slightly drunk. I turned around.

"To us, my love," I whispered in her ear, and she giggles and turns pink, pecking my nose.

"Let's play a game," Sage suggests, and we all agree on Never Have I Ever.

"I'll go first," Ced says. "Never have I ever been in a fist fight," he says, smirking. I roll my eyes. He knew I had been in many fist fights, and so had he. He was more than a little drunk. Ced, Sage, and I all took a drink, though mine was only water.

"Asshole client tried to scam me," Sage explained. "I tried to deal with him peacefully, but we ended up getting in a fight. I won." We all laughed, though it was not very funny, we were all happy just being with each other.

It was my turn next. "Never have I ever cross dressed," I say, staring directly at Ced. He takes a shot and Isa and Sage burst out laughing.

"I'm going to need that story," Isa says when she calms down.

Ced gives me the finger before telling the story. "So I was out one night, and got drunk with some friends a few years before I met Tala. I lost a bet, not that I remember what it was, and had to go to a bar in a tube top and mini skirt."

Through my laughter, I manage to get out, "There are pictures!" and everyone doubles over laughing. Ced chuckled too, before muttering something that sounded a lot like "Fuck you."

When we finally calmed down, wiping tears out of our eyes, Sage went. "Never have I ever been arrested," she said, looking around our little circle. No one took a shot. "Damnit," she muttered, taking her drink. "I guess we're just too good at our jobs," she joked with a smile.

"Never have I ever gone skinny dipping," Isa said. Sage and I took another drink, while Isa didn't.

"We'll have to change that," I whispered to her before giving her a kiss.

"Get a room!" Sage and Ced yelled at us, and we broke apart. I flipped them off while Isa just blushed.

"Never have I ever shot somebody," Ced sung. No one moved. "Shit, I thought at least one of you would have," he said.

"You've never shot anyone?" Isa asks. "Weren't you a gang leader?"

Ced grins. "Yeah. I was a peaceful gang leader." I roll my eyes.

"Never have I ever been handcuffed," Sage says, smirking. Isa takes a shot, and Sage whoops with laughter.

"Kinky!" She yells. Isa blushes, and I pull her closer to me.

"Can I please not hear about your sex lives?!" Ced exclaims. This makes me laugh harder than I should, and Sage is curled up into a fetal position, too hysterical for words.

"Shut the fuck up both of you," I say, mostly kidding. Soon Sage sits up again, clutching her stomach.

"Man, I'm gonna have abs from that," she says, which makes Isa crack up. I chuckle slightly.

"Okay, my turn," I say. "Never have I ever been to a club."

Ced and Sage take drinks, as expected.

"Never have I ever done drugs," Isa says. No one drinks. "Ugh. I thought you guys were criminals. Done of you have ever done drugs?!" Isa exclaims, taking a drink.

"Nope."

"Not once."

"Nah."

After that I made everyone switch over to water, because they were going to have horrible headaches tomorrow otherwise. We played for a few more hours, until around three in the morning.

"Thanks so much, Sage!" Isa said, hugging her. Sage, caught off guard, hugged her back.

"You're welcome. Congratulations on getting married!"

We walked out the door, and got into Ced's car. I dropped him off at his apartment, and switched to my motorcycle that I left at his place. I drove to our apartment, and led a slightly sleepy, drunk Isa up the stairs. We got changed and crawled into bed.

"Tala. I love you so much. I can't believe we're married, and I just love you," Isa said, sleepily.

"I love you too, Isa," I replied, kissing her, and we fell asleep holding each other that night.

A/N- So school is back and I'm getting busy again. My new update schedule will be every Sunday, unless otherwise stated. I might do surprise updates, but yeah. Also, this book is almost over! A few more chapters, and we'll be at the epilogue. However, if enough people want, I'll do a sequel or a spin-off. More on that later. Anyway, see you next week!
