《Bestfriend as a Mate》N I N E T E E N

Feeling something wet licking at my neck, I grumble swatting it away. The licking turned in a soft sucking making me wake up. Seeing Augustus, actively leaving hickeys on my neck.
"Augustus. No. Go to sleep." I say turning over. "Lovin?" He asks making me sit up, completely annoyed. His eyes were gold but hooded with desire. "Look, just cause we completed the mating process doesn't mean you can jump my bones whenever you want. I don't want this to only become about sex." I say narrowing my eyes.
"I understand Yoshi. But I want you. I've gone 18 years without sex, I'm just incredibly horny. It'll never be about the sex when it comes to us." Gus says hugging my body closer as he sits up. Nodding, I get up from the bed going to the bathroom. "C'mon Gussy, I'm not kissing you with your morning breath this bad." I chuckle as Gus growls.
"Don't call me that. I despise that woman." He growls making me laugh as we enter the bathroom.
Brushing our teeth, Gus holds me from behind as I rinse my mouth out. "I love you mate. I like your smile. I like your laugh. I like how your eyes light up. I love you forever." Gus growled softly as I turn around in his hold.
"I love you too mate. Everypart of you." I say caressing his cheek. Bringing his face down, I kiss him sweetly with a soft smile as he gives a toothy smile. "Come on, I'll make breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, strawberry muffins, and bacon." I say pulling Gus to the kitchen.
"Sounds good." Gus huffed out as he sat at the kitchen table. Rummaging around the kitchen, I get out what I need for breakfast. Hearing scrapping across the floor and footsteps coming closer. Before feeling Gus put his arms around my waist sniffing my neck.

Putting a piece of bacon up to his lips, Gus taked it in humming happily. "Breakfast is almost done Gus. What do you need?" I ask as I flip the last of the bacon.
"I just wanted to hold you mate before Augustus sends me back." Gus says making me smile softly. "Well, tell Augustus to stay inside for today. I barely get to spend time with you Gus." I say turning off the stove turning around in his arms. "Thanks mate." Gus says as he lets me go making a plate for himself. Doing the same for myself and taking it the bar.
Eating breakfast, I hear a knock on the door making me go walk to the door. Opening, I see its the beta of the pack who seemed out of breath.
"What's wrong Micah?" I ask. "The Alpha is needed at the pack house urgently." He said before running back down the steps. Jogging back to the kitchen, I see Gus walking out the back fully dressed. "I don't know how long I'm going to be there. Have some fun today, don't stay cooped up in here." Gus says as he kisses me before leaving out the door.
Pouting as I thought I would be able to spend the day with him. I walk to the kitchen grabbing the empty plates and putting them in the sink. Walking back to the room, I hop in the shower after I strip my clothes.
Washing my body, I sigh as I think about what I could do today to entertain myself. Rinsing myself off, I get out the shower drying off before sliding on my boy shorts. Rubbing in my lotions I put on a pair of plain black yoga pants and a white shirt. Walking over to my mate's closet, I pull out a hoody and putting it on my body.

Walking out the room, I decide to take a walk outside or go help out. Grabbing my phone, I leave Gus's trailer looking around before seeing children playing. Deciding to watch them for now, I smile as they play. I admire their innocence.
"Do you want pups one day?" I hear making me turn around seeing Nathan standing with the guy from the picture. "Hey Nathan. Welcome back to the pack." I smile seeing the guy beside send me a wavery smile.
"Yeah its good to be back. Ryle this is Yoshi. The guy I told you about." Nathan says as Ryle nodds before moving his hands. "What is he saying?" I ask. "He's saying that its nice to meet you and he hopes you can be friends." Nathan translates.
"Well, if we are going to be friends can you teach me sign language? So we can talk." I say to Ryle. Receiving a nod, I hug him before they walk off leaving me to watch the children play.
Walking away, I talk to some of the pack members about life in the pack. They seemed to enjoy it but it had the occasional down faults of the teenagers partying to loud. Or there wasn't enough jobs in the are.
Suddenly, I heard loud roar coming from the pack house. "What's going on?" I ask a lady that was passing by. "Alpha probably got angry. It usually happened almost everytime he has to handle pack business. You should go help him." The woman advised making me nod. Jogging towards the pack house, I listen for the yelling leading me upstairs to a white door. Going inside not bothering to knock, I see Gus his eys ablaze with rage as he sat behind the desk the call receiver to his ear.
Frowning, I walk over to him sitting in his lap turning to him. "Calm down mate." I whisper kissing his cheek and forehead. Gus sighed as he held my waist as he talked on the phone.
"Alpha Landon, I why would you need a alliance with my pack. Shouldn't you be calling Alpha Ralph since he has the strongest pack?" Gus asked as I looked on the desk seeing numerous papers about treaties and other arrangements.
Hearing Gus growl lowly, I rub his knee. "No I won't help you. You want help with the shortage on supplies if you prioritized right you would hace them instead of spending thousands on materialistic things." Gus growls over the phone before slamming it down.
Gus growled as he sniffed along my neck, muttering to himself. Sitting quietly, I reach back rubbing his head. "Calm down Gus. Its not that serious. Think rationally. Yes, they might be room for improvement when they prioritize but you have to help them. Innocent people shouldn't have to suffer because of bad prioritizing." I say trying to get him to see reason.
"Your so perfect. Perfect Luna." Gus says smiling widely with a sense of pride around him.
