《Bestfriend as a Mate》F O U R T E E N

Its been a week since I agreed to be Augustus's boyfriend. I don't totally trust him yet but I'm trying to let my gaurd down inch by inch.
Right now, I was back in school since Augustus says the heat gas gone away completely. So its safe. Hearing the teacher drone on and on I turn my attention to the window.
I miss Augustus. I want to go home. "Yoshi Shiro pay attention please." Mr. Wallace said. Blushing, I do my best to avoid the snickers and slide remarks of my classmates.
Once the bell rung signalling the end of class, gathering my things I make my way to the courtyard. I barely ever eat lunch to avoid the feeling of loneliness that comes with having no friends.
I was going to sit under my favorite tree but there was someone sitting under it with Burger King bags.
"Hey your in my spot." I say firmly. "I know. Take a seat with me." The stranger said looking up revealing himself as Augustus but his eyes were honey gold.
"Gus?" I ask taking a seat beside him. "Yeah, how are you mate? Did anyone bother you today?" Gus growls as holding my waist as he moves me to his lap. Blushing I answer him. "Calm down. No one bothered me and I'm good a bit bored. But I only have two more classes left. What are you doing here? Don't you have, I don't know, a pack to run?" I chuckle eating my fries.
"I finished my pack work and I wanted to come spend time with you. I missed you. You're parents are coming back today." Gus says as he eats his burger. "Will we still be able to hang out?" I ask him as I lean against his shoulder.

"All the time. You can even come to my place anytime you want. But know, my parents are dying to meet you and will probably force their way in the house." Gus laughed as he rubbed my back.
"That's okay. When do I have to meet the pack?" I ask softly. "We could hold a barbeque next weekend so you can meet everyone the same day." Gus suggested softly as he looked down at me. "Okay. Tell me about the pack." I ask.
"Well it's not the biggest so we don't have mansions or any fancy decorum or anything. But we aren't poor. We have priorities and living lavishly because we can is not one of them. Their good people. Over half of them go to school with a total count of 54." Gus explains.
"Okay. I just need to get mentally prepared. I have to go." I say getting up as did Gus.
"We'll be here once school ends. See you later Yoshi." Gus smiled kissing my cheek before I smile and go in the school.
As I made my way to class, the halls seemed quiet as I walked pass. Looking around, everyone was looking at me with envy, resentment. Shrugging it off, I go in my english class taking my seat by the door.
"Okay, today we will be reading Alaska Blues by Joe Upton. Chapter 1-5, tomorrow we will have a quiz on it. So be sure to be ready. But I also want you to work on your senior project. For those of you that still need to choose a topic you have by the end of this period to choose one." Mrs. Alvarez says adressing the class.
Getting out my laptop, I start working on my senior paper. My phone buzzed, setting it beside my laptop, I see Nathan had sent me a picture.

It was of him and a...male. I'm not sure. Whoever it was was beautiful with shoulder length red hair, hazel eyes, and soft features.

The final bell finally rung signalling my quick departure. Rushing out the school doors with my backpack, I spot Augustus standing by the steps as promised.
"Hey." I say cheerfully. "Hey baby boy. Ready to go." Augustus asks his eyes their natural light brown.
"Yeah." I sigh grabbing his hand as we walk home. "Your parents are going be so happy to see you." Augustus smiles down at me as I nod. "What's wrong Yoshi? Are you not ready to see your parents?" Augustus asked stopping.
"I am ready to see my parents but will this change how much I see you or anything." I say looking down at my fingers.
Augustus lifted my head as he cupped my cheeks. "Hey, we can hang out or see each other as much as you want. As long as it cleared by your parents but I want you to spend time with your parents. Because once your ready I want you to move in with me." Augustus says to me as I look up at him.
"Okay." I say before continuing to walk home on my own. I'm not sure why but listening to Augustus, made me upset. If he thinks, I'm staying in the state of Utah for him, he's crazy. I have dreams and aspirations that go beyond the state of Utah.
Arriving home, I smile as the smell of mom's special chilly surrounded my nose. Rushing to the kitchen, I hug mom tight.
"Careful Yoshi. Its hot. I missed you too." Mom smiled as she stirred the pot. "Where's dad at?" I ask. "Oh, he's just taking a shower. Is Augustus coming to dinner?" Mom asked.
"I don't know. Do you and dad know about the pack and werewolves?" I ask Mom.
"Honey, Augustus didn't tell you. We are apart of the pack, its why we live in the woods. We'll talk more once everyone seated." Mom explains. Nodding I hug her one more time before going in my room. Setting down my bookbag, I sigh as I change into my comfortable clothes.
Getting out my homework, I lay it on my desk before going to the dining room taking a seat beside dad. "I missed you dad." I say to him. "You and me both Yoshi. Your growing up so fast. I feel old." Dad joked nudging my shoulder. Chuckling, Mom gives us our bowls of chilly.
"Thanks Mom." I say just as there is a knock at the door. Getting up, I go to the door opening it, seeing Augustus. "What are you doing here?" I ask him narrowing my eyes. "To make sure your alright. I want to talk about earlier." Augustus says softly.
"Gus, we were expecting you join us for dinner." Mom said spooking me. "I don't want to intrude on family time." Augustus said glancing at me.
"Non sense. Come in. I made chilly." Mom smiled. Rolling my eyes, I walk away going to the table sitting beside dad. Augustus and Mom came pack Augustus pulling up a chair beside me as Mom.
"Dig in." Mom smiled.

On Tilt [in progress]
Going on tilt is like falling in love: both make you foolish and should be avoided at all costs. *BROOKEI hate Dean Hollis.I tell myself that every day. And some days, I almost believe it. Some days, I sell myself on at least a solid dislike of who he is and what he stands for.Like his stupid charming smile. His stupid sculpted forearms. And his stupid addictive cologne that leaves me light in the head and weak in the knees. He's a vintage blend of infuriating and intoxicating, all in one deceptively handsome bottle.Let's not forget his notoriety for emotional hit-and-runs. Dean is a bad decision just waiting to happen. I would know.Been there, done that... Literally.*DEANI remember the first time I saw Brooke Maccabe. My first thought was, holy shit. That's the hottest girl I've ever seen. I was trying to think of a good pickup line when she walked up to our door and gave Brendan a hug.My next thought was, fuck my life. Because that dime? She was my best friend's baby sister. And she was sixteen.Verboten. Off-limits. The Demilitarized Zone. She may as well have had a blinking red neon sign over her head that read, 'Look but don't touch: Violation punishable by death'.Problem is, I really wanted to touch. And the even bigger problem is, nine years later, I did.*18+ for explicit adult content
