《To Go Higher (Uta No Prince Sama FANFICTION)》Wondering

"No." I reject with both of arms and legs crossed.
"Please?" Astrin begs hugging me at my waist as I just continue to scowl him.
"No." I repeat.
"But it'll be so cool!" He continues to pleads even more as I try to push him off me.
"For the last time, no! I already helped you in creating the melody, I'm going to help you with creating the lyrics and what instruments to use!" I struggle as I feel his grip tighten around me.
"But Melody!" He continues to whine.
"No is a no!" I shout as he continues to pout.
"Astrin, let her go. We all had an agreement already. She did her part, we just have to do our part." Sei sighs as Astrin just sulks but still keeps his hug on me.
Ignoring him, since I don't have the energy to fool around, I face Sei, "So what did your parents say about being an idol?"
He sighs, "They didn't fully on agree, but they did allow me to try. If I don't become a famous idol, they'll force me to be back in composing."
"Well, at least you've got a chance." I state as he smiles and nods.
"Yup. Thanks to you." he agrees getting me to raise an eyebrow.
Why me? I didn't exactly do anything. But right before I could ask him, the bell rings getting him to stand up.
"Come on, Astrin. We're going to the studio to practice. Stop whining." Sei orders getting the brown orange hair boy to pout before releasing me.
"Yes. Yes. Coming." Astrin replies before following Sei out of the classroom.
Uncrossing both my arms and legs, I also exit out of the class. Despite my work of getting me to stop attending class, those two keep dragging me back. Sighing, I head down the hallway wondering what to do during this lunch break. Since I'm never hungry, I've got used to not eating for nearly the whole day. The only time I eat is probably only at lunch. Suddenly, my eyes a familiar instrument inside a classroom. Looking around, I find no students nearby before I quickly sneak into the class before facing the piano on the other side of the room. It was quite dark in here as the lights aren't turned on, the only light was the one shining from the windows as they were open getting the curtains to float in the air. Heading over to the piano, I find it still in good shape getting me to smile before sitting down on the bench. Revealing the white and black tiles, I let my fingers feel the keys before closing my eyes.

This used to be my favorite room that I go to whenever I feel down. But since I've always been feeling down recently, I don't need this room anymore. But it won't be bad to play the piano for a while. I've got nothing else better to do. Thinking of one of the pieces I should play, I can't think of any getting me to sigh. But that's when the piece I created with the boys suddenly appear in my mind. Biting the bottom of my lip, I just shrug off my worries. It's not like they're going to be near here, they're at the studios at the opposite of this place. Taking a deep breathe, I begin to play.

Finishing it with the last note, I open my eyes before taking a deep breathe. That's when loud claps come from the doorway getting me to nearly jump up from surprise. Looking over to the noise, I find two familiar boys there clapping like crazy with another boy I have never seen.
"Melody! That was amazing!" Astrin shouts before jumping on me.
Both of us fall down to the ground as he pushes me off the bench. I hiss from the pain on my back as he continues to hug me tightly. The other two in shock rushes over to us. Sei pulls Astrin off me as the other guy helps me up.
Unlike the two, he has messy grey hair and gentle look citrine orange eyes. The way he offers his hand and helps me up smooths me at the kind aura he emits.
"Idiot! You could have nearly injured her!" Sei lectures slapping Astrin's head.
"But—But Melody just sounded so amazing!" Astrin tries to dodge.
Sei just sighs as the boy beside me chuckles, "Still the same as usual, those two."
Wondering who he is, he notices my curiosity before smiling.
"Sorry about Astrin. I'm Yukio Hashimoto. Nice to meet you!" he continues to give off his heartwarming smile.
"You can just call me Melody." I reply.
"Yukio is our childhood friend! He just transferred today and will be attending our class." Astrin joins in, "And guess what?! He's going to be in our group!"
I feel like time just stopped when he said that.
"Ringo-sensei agreed along with Saotome-san. They allowed him to choose which group to join and he chose ours!" Astrin continues to explain.
"I'll be in your care now." he nods getting me to seriously think of what I got myself into.
"Melody." Sei speaks getting me to look over to him, "If it's fine with you. May we use those lyrics? When did you come up with them?"
"Ah. I just came up with them to be honest. Don't know why." I scratch the back of my neck, "And you can use it if you wanna."
He smiles, "Thanks. Despite saying that we were gonna do the lyrics."
I sigh loudly, "It's fine. Since there's now another member in the group, it'll be faster. And I do wanna finish this as quickly as possible."
He just simply nods back.
Finally taking this a bit serious as I do wanna get this over with, I cross my arms and look at them, "Since we're done with the music, all we need is for you guys to practice the song and choose which parts you'll all be singing. And we also need costumes since this an open stage audition."
"I can work on the costumes." Yukio suggests slightly raising his hand.
"Yukio is a designer! He's amazing in making costumes and outfits!" Astrin compliments getting the boy to blush as I just smile at how close they all are.
"Okay then. We'll leave Yukio to the costumes. If you need help, I won't mind giving some. I know the basics of sewing costumes up. All that's left to do is choosing the parts of the lyrics. I'll leave that up to you two. And I'll finish creating the melody for the song. Is that good?" I ask them all as they nod in agreement.
Hiding my smile of excitement, I wonder how this will end.

Force Majeure: A web novel
In the Qursan Empire, the grey walls of the city press down on its subjects. It is a highly divided society which is based on the magical strength of its citizens. While the most powerful are trained as Mages, the majority of citizens use their limited skills with essence to power the city in their assigned jobs. Jano is pretty much the lowest of the low in the Qursan Empire. A Class Ten citizen forced into transitory work after having his power restricted. When he gets the opportunity to change all of that, he takes it with both hands. Please note this is an edited version of my story ‘city of captives’. It follows a similar structure but I’ve ironed out some of the kinks. If you read that version, much of this will be similar though there are some differences. This is a slow burning progression fantasy. Please expect at least two chapters per week. I love writing this story but I do have unfortunate things to deal with like work and life outside of writing. I may be able to write and edit more than that, but it will never be less! If you enjoy this, consider following me on Instagram by just searching Crow J Williams.
