Simply because the chapter of this in The Lust Anthology was a good way of promoting other writers' works!

A lot of these writers don't need promotion, they've got millions of reads, but it can't hurt, right?

These are some of my favourites. I'm a picky reader, but these are ones I go back to time and time again.

I haven't tagged the authors because I feel a bit embarrassed to be gushing about their works so much, but please go read their works if you haven't already!

Unintended Consequences- eim1993

Oh my days. This story. It made me feel 16 again, in the best way! Teenage romance with a guy far too young for me to be crushing on. A brother's best friend story that makes mine look like shit. It is incredible, go read it! Happy ending guaranteed.

Drenched- matemenot

I am so in love with this short story. Perfect romance to smut ratio and it's set in Spain so ticks every box for me, including a happy ending. Make time in your life to read this heavenly book.

The Sassy Submissive- GoldenAngelAuthor

I loved this book. The only criticism is that the chapters are super long (50+ pages), but at least it's not a short read! Beautifully written, the connection between the two leads is palpable. BDSM obviously, but nothing too hardcore. Romance included.

Amazing story. Really good read and smut included! I loved it. Only criticism? Labelled has two l's in the UK, these American spellings stress me out.

Insatiable- CherylVylona

Short story, but bloody brilliant. Super hot sex scenes. SPOILER: the male lead sleeps with another woman (they're not officially together and she's acting distant to him) and it honestly made bile rise in my throat. But, if you can get past that, there's a happy ending (I still resent him, especially because the girl he 'cheats' with is called Layla. Why author? Why do that to me?).

Up In The Stars- sapphox

Absolutely incredible writing. Beautiful story that was SO good, I even read it the whole way through, despite the fact there's no sex! Only one mature scene (fingering), which was also beautifully written. Criticism? More smut. Always more. But stunning writing nonetheless.

Oh my goodness, does this story have a special place in my heart! I must have read it almost ten years ago, when I first joined Wattpad. It was favourite back then, and I STILL go back and read it now. It's just...ugh. Amazing.

Sooo beautifully written. A really talented author. Not much emphasis on smut, but you don't care because the plot and romance is too good.

Burning Passion - A Mated Lovestory - SoulMated

Your typical werewolf story, but in the best way. Everything you could want from a shifter novel, including sex and a happy ending. Really easy read that leaves you smiling.

I'm Sorry, Did You Say Mate? - raylor17

Perfect shifter story, with two other books after which are just as perfect. Easy reads with romance and smut (in a separate book I think).

Wonderful book, romantic and happy ending.

Vampire romance story, but give it time! Don't give up half-way because there is some major character development on the male lead, who you dislike at the beginning. It gets better and ends happily, don't worry.

Really upset that the author hasn't published more works. Such a beautiful read, I was hooked from the first chapter. Her imagination is incredible, and there's basically no smut! Beautiful, wish I could write even half as fantastically as this.

Hades, God of the Underworld romance. Amazing book with smut and a happy ending. Loved it.

Lucifer's Gift- Epsilon Angel

I loved this!! So wonderful and romantic. Includes smut and has a happy ending. Beautiful!

I've recommended this before, but the smut is mind-blowing. Two demons and a girl. Reverse harem deliciousness.

Claiming of the Demon King- winterstarfire

Incredible story! The smut is amazing and often. Just how I like it, with a side of romance. There's a book 2 and 3, as well.

Dragon's Slave- CSW1995

Loved the smut in this, but be warned, the male characters are domineering/sexist and make you want to castrate them at times. The female lead needs to put them in their place a bit more in my opinion, but that's the beauty of writing. It's only my opinion and it doesn't matter, because it's the author's work and her choice.
