I jump at the knock on my door.
"Yeah?"
Izzy comes in. I can hear his friends talking in the background as Izzy asks "we're gonna play a drinking game, you in?".
"Uhm, give me a second" I mutter while closing my notebook.
"Gotcha" Izzy leaves and closes the door.
Should I play with them? My assignment is due tomorrow but when I moved here I promised myself I wouldn't let schoolwork stand in the way of having a good time. Sometimes I feel like I missed out on the 'highschool experience' so I have something to make up for.
I decide to join them. So I grab some kneehigh socks, it's colder in the livingroom, and walk out my door.
I am greeted by an already tipsy Duff who cheers "Syl! Hey hey, you're on my team!" I smile at him and wait for Izzy to introduce me to the three strangers on our couch. He does.
"Guys, this is our roommate, Sylvienne".
"Syl" I correct him.
"Syl" Izzy nods.
Then he point at a redhead with very defined facial features who's wearing a loose tanktop. "This here is Axl". The redhead grinnes at me "Axl Rose, pleasure".
I return the smile.
"This is Steven!" Izzy continues, pointing at a guy with messy blonde hair and a kind face.
"And that is Slash... or Saul" Slash or Saul is a guy with a wild set of dark curls and a nosering. He is just taking out a cigarette and doesn't seem to notice Izzy is talking about him.
"Hey fucker" the Axl guy turns to Slash, "are those my Malboro's?".
Slash shakes his head and his curls bounce around.
"Nah, man. These are my own"
"Then where did mine go?"
"Fuck if I know... you wanna borrow one?"

"Uhg, yeah I guess".
Slash and Axl disappear to the balcony which created some room for me in the couch.
I sit next to Steven who starts asking me about what I study and how I like it in LA. He's really easy to talk to.
Meanwhile Duff and Izz prepare the drinking game. It's the one where you have to pull cards out one by one, without breaking the circle.
After a couple minutes Axl and Slash come walking back into the room smelling like smoke. I make way for them on the small couch and they toss themselves next to me. I am now plastered between Steven and Slash.
Izzy explains the rules to us all.
It's no use. Before I can even get a turn Steven breaks the circle and ends the game early. This means he has to drink and he takes a shot of vodka.
We try a couple more times but these guys aren't careful enough for this game and shots are taken left and right.
"This isn't gonna work" I laugh as Axl takes his third shot.
"What'd'you suggest then?" Duff asks me, slurring his words a little.
I look around the room.
"Truth or Dare?".

Son of Thunder
Right, I really suck at this synopsis crap. The story follows Taran as he grabs fate by the short hairs and makes his own destiny. Seizing a power that is not his by birth, he uses it to protect those he cares about. There will be magic, monsters and most likely some sex. (This is my first story here, give me some tips and pointers. My grammar may also not be up to snuff. As for a release schedule, nothing set in stone. Though I will try once ever week or two. Length of the chapters will vary. Mature 18+ Sex, violence, gore, strong language)(Holy shit, the old synopsis had some glaring errors.)

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
