《Falling in love with the Muslim girl ✔》Chapter 33: Leo?!

"That wasn't cool you know." I whispered into Safia's ear when I arrived at school.
"What wasn't cool?" She whispered back when she turned around to face me. She closed her locker and walked away. I ran behind her so I could catch up on her.
"You know what I mean, the kiss yesterday." I said when I was walking besides her.
"What kiss?!" Amina asked.
"Oops." I laughed and walked away.
Safia didn't look all too happy, her fault I thought.
"Good luck explaining our moment." I shouted and winked just to tease her more whilst I walked away to class.
"Dick." I whispered.
"What does he mean by 'our moment' Saf?!" Amina asked.
"It's nothing Amina, he was just joking." I responded. I wasn't in the mood to explain her what happened, nothing happened actually..
"Safia!" Amina shouted.
I stopped and turned around.
"Since when do we lie to eachother?!" Amina asked.
"Since you lied about being with Malik." And with that being said, I turned back around and continued my walk.
It was the truth though, since she's with Malik, I've became second choice.. I know I shouldn't have said that, maybe that would wake her up.
...
I wasn't in the mood for any sort of company... I shouldn't have opened my big mouth like that towards Amina. I totally blame my period, I'll be glad when I can finally lay in bed with some chocolates.
"Heey, ready to go home?"
Please someone kill me.
"Brodyy." I said fake overenthusiastic.
"Hey, someone is happy to see me." Brody said.
"Yeaaaa-no" I said depressing.
"Okaay? Anyway c'mon I'll drop you home." Brody said getting in the driver seat.
"You know what, no!" I said.
Brody rolled the window of the passenger side down and looked at me confused.
"What do you mean by 'no', get in." Brody said.
"No, I'm walking today." I said.
"Safia don't be-"
"Don't be what huh?" I asked putting my hand on my hip.
He was making me angry.
"Wow, are you on your period or something?" Brody asked confused.
Euhm, awkward..
"Anyway, just get in!"

"I said no Brody! You're not my father nor my brother. And you're definitely not my boyfriend, you are nothing to me and I'm nothing to you. When is that going to get through your big head?!" I shouted and walked away not looking back.
..
He wasn't following me, he wasn't calling nor texting me.. He let me go.
Those words hurt me more than I thought they would. It was the truth, he's nothing to me and I'm nothing to him. It was never going to work, I need to quit this haram path before I die on it.
I arrived home a half-hour later and immediately went to my room.
"Hey Safia, how was school?" Mom said stopping me from going upstairs.
"Awesome mom." I responded.
"What's wrong honey?" She asked.
"Euhm nothing" I fake smiled, "I'm just on my period, I'm having some cramps." responded.
"Oh, I'll make you some soup and I'll bring you a painkiller." She kissed my forehead and went back to the kitchen.
I sighed and walked upstairs to my room.
...
The next day
God, what am I going to do? Amina is avoiding me, I haven't seen Malik all day and Brody was avoiding me too. Why wouldn't they, I screwed up big time. My own damn fault.
I closed my locker strongly out of anger until I heard a familiar voice.
"What did that locker do to you Fia?" there was only one person that called me 'Fia'.
"LEO!" I shouted out of joy.
I embraced him tightly.
"Wow, someone is happy to see me."
I loosened my grip and punched his upper arm.
"Aww, what was that for?" Leo asked rubbing the sore spot.
"For not meeting up until today." I responded.
"But what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Well, I have a day off so I decided to visit you.." Leo said.
"Oh did you." I laughed.
"Anyway, are we meeting after school?" I asked.
"Actually, I was wondering if you don't want to skip today?" Leo asked looking at me with widened eyes.
"I can't just skip Leo." I said.
"Why not? C'mon Fia, pleasssee." Leo said looking at me with his puppy eyes.

"Fine, how can I say no to those eyes.. And I've missed you." I said.
"Yesss!" Leo shouted and hugged me again.
Leo swang his arm over my shoulders like he used to do and we walked out of school together. He always did that, we were and are just friends.. really! He always dated the hottest girls at school and I was known on school for being his best friend. Believe me, he has enough girls to get satisfaction from.
"School isn't the same without you!" Leo said.
"Same." I responded.
"I thought you had some friends on school?"
"I had." I said.
"What about, what's her name, oh Amina? And Brody? Hu-hu." He said pushing me with his shoulder.
"He, we, well.. I'm having some issues with both of them."
"Explain." Leo said looking at me confused.
"Who is that?" One of my friends asked me when he caught me staring at Safia hugging another guy.
I balled my fists out of anger and just stared at how he made her feel.
She laughed and touched him like he was her boyfriend.
As far as I know, in Islam, a woman isn't allowed to touch any opposite gender.. Any opposite gender that isn't me anyway..
And I knew she was doing it to rub it in my face, she knew I liked her and she was taken advantage of that. She knew I was standing at the other side of the hallway..
"Bro, I'm sure it's nothing." One of my friends said trying to sooth me.
"Yeah I know." I responded.
The one thing I noticed, is that Safia didn't went to class, she left school together with that guy.. Who is that guy? And what does he have that I don't have?
"Zac, do you know who that is?" I asked.
"No, but do you want me to find out?"
"Yeah, thanks bro!"
"Anytime." Zac responded.
I had class with Zac, his girlfriend and normally, Safia, but she wasn't here. She was skipping school, she wasn't that kind of girl.. What is this guy doing to her? I know that it's just one day, but one day can easily turn into a week.
Zac took me apart after an hour of boring education that I would probably never use again.
"What's up? Did you find something?" I asked.
"Yeah, is this the guy from earlier?"
Zac opened his facebook-app on his phone and clicked on some guy's profile.
He gave me his phone and showed me a picture.
"Yeah that was him?! What's his name?" I asked.
I gave his phone back, "his name is.. euhm.. Aah Leo." Zac responded.
"Of course." I whispered.
"What?" Zac asked.
"He's Safia's old friend, they were texting before.."
"Sooo?"
"So he probably just gave her a visit.." I said trying to sooth not only him but also myself.
"So he's just a friend?" Zac asked.
"I think." I responded, "I hope." I whispered.
"Don't worry bro, just don't let him take her away from you." Zac said, "Anyway, enough with all the love drama, I'll see you after school!" He also said.
"Yeah man, thank you!"
"Anytime bro!" And I watched him leave to his next class.
I wasn't in the mood for class, but I'm not skipping..
I grabbed my phone out of my jacket and opened up Leo's facebookprofile as I was walking to my next class. He's a pretty popular guy, had more than 1000 friends and 80% of them were girls. He reminded me of someone..
Oh God ! He reminded me of myself. I think Safia has a type after all..
Her words yesterday did hurt, but it was the truth. I was nothing to her, even though she meant the world to me.
I promised myself to give her some space, but I'm not giving up on her.. I refuse to give up on us!

Cheep!?
Charles Monroe survived the disappearance of his parents, did his best to hold things together for himself and his sister. He survived when she, too, vanished, leaving behind nothing but a cryptic note. He was devastated, but he kept moving forward as best he could. Cancer didn’t put him down, and after suffering through several rounds of chemotherapy, Charles Monroe thought that things might finally be looking up. That is, until a virulent strain of ebola swept through the city. With his immune system strained as it is, the odds don’t look good for Charles. Now, on the bridge between life and death, he hears a voice claiming to know where his family went. It claims that it needs his help and that it can give him a second life, one far away from all the pain he’s ever known. So, Charles answers as any reasonable person would. He says no. Charles isn't ready or willing to die yet. But, as with everything else to this point, even his choice to keep fighting is taken from him all too soon. With no other option but the dark oblivion of death, Charles chooses to make a deal with the spirit of a distant world that's seeking a wild card in its battle against the gods, monsters, and mortals that threaten its existence. Someday, he’ll find where his family went. Someday, he’ll uphold his end of the bargain and hunt beings powerful beyond anything he’s ever known. Someday, he might even – hatch? “CHEEP!?” Things to Know: -Cheep!? Will release on a minimum weekly schedule. -After a backlog of chapters, posting will slow, but in the interim you can expect a chapter a day up until roughly 25 chapters. -This story at times will potentially carry some heavy moments, but the tone is intended to be lighter overall. -There are invisible game-like elements in this story, but nothing so concrete as a dedicated gamelit novel. -I personally have some issues with anxiety, so I may or may not interact with the community a lot. I'll try if anyone has questions, but I can't guarantee that it'll be consistent. -MC is a non-human lead, and will never actually become human. Romance will potentially happen between side-characters, but not with the MC. -MC IS NOT THE ONLY VIEW POINT. I have to put that out there because people sometimes hate alternate PoV's in a story. None of them will be filler, and they'll be there only to give a little bit more nuance and meaning to the world that the MC has stepped in, or is about to be imminently important. I'll try to keep them down, but this also helps to prevent me from burning out getting trapped in one view. -Most of all, I hope that this story is enjoyable to you, and that you have a great time reading it! -Written by Michael Adams, Cowritten/Edited by Summer Kent

No Strings Attached [Rewritten]
Warning Just so you know, you better be paying attention to the chapter title or else it's going to be like travelling across multiverses. Explanation Due to a single comment made by a wonderful person, or some douchebag in real life, I have decided to create two seperate stories. A rewritten version, and the original version. The rewritten version will somewhat follow the original storyline of the original version, but will have extra content, extra side stories of course rewritten personalities. The original one will be like a rough draft of where I want the story to go. Like for instance, the original story is like the first Link from 'Legend of Zelda', choppy but fun to read. The rewritten story is the Link from any game during and after Windwaker, smooth and somewhat follows the main premise. Overall both are going to be probably terribly done but hey, I'm creating a furture and past story so what should you expect. - Styx Whatever just put up the revised description. - Ariel Edited Summary Jay W. Blu, a dashing and charming rich boy who's been spoiled his whole life. He is very cocky, has a case of egomania and isn't exactly what you call a 'Relatable Main character', unless you somehow fit one of these descriptions and then relate all you want. He had everything you would probably want if you weren't pessimistic, realistic, or chronically depressed. But as most reincarnation/summoning stories go, he get's himself killed at whatever age he was and is sent to another world. Normally, he would be summoned as something you would call a hero, but since that's to cliche by my standards he is something else. Instead of being the hero of the people that he was told about by a friend, he instead summoned as the anti-hero aka, 'The Hero of Demons'. Now he must traverse the lands slaying opposing heroes as he tries to keep his mind straight, although it's to late. There will be weird people along the journey like a fangirling war general, a hive mind and a manly magical girl? Oh well, Jay is too pure to see love anyways.
