《Falling in love with the Muslim girl ✔》Chapter 10: Schooltrip [Part 1]

*1 week later*

"Hey" I greeted Natalie with a kiss.

We walked quietly together to school until she broke the silence.

"So do you have plans after school?" she asked. "Because I got a few ideas." she added as she stopped and kissed me on my lips.

"I can't Nat, I'm going to work with Safia for our project" I said.

"It seems to me that you're more with her than with me" she complained letting my hand go.

She used that sentence like a hundred times the past week. I don't get why she's so jealous, I mean, Safia is a nice girl and all, but I would never see myself with her. I just love to tease her, that's all.

"C'mon Nat, I'll see you after we're done. Isn't that enough?" I asked, standing in front of her.

She agreed and we went our separate ways as soon as we arrived at school. Natalie went to the same school as me, but she went to a different building which was next to ours.

Before I went to my first class, I saw Safia with her friends. I greeted them all and gave Malik a handshake. A few days ago when I wanted to greet Safia and Amina with a hug, they explained that the opposed sex can't have intensive physical contact with them. I understood the meaning behind it and had respect for their religion.

"Safia, are we working for our project after school?" I asked.

"Yeah sure" she answered.

"So are you guys ready for the 4 day long schooltrip?" Malik asked.

I definitely was, a trip instead of class? Count me in. But Amina and Safia apparently didn't agree with me.

"Come on! A trip without class where we can share rooms, that's way better than sitting on a chair all day long!" I said.

"Ha me sharing a room with you? You wish." Safia scoffed.

"I know that you want to Safia, but girls and guys are getting separated. I can sneak in though, if you want." I teased.

"Just shut up" Safia responded.

"Okaayy", Malik said who was confused about what was going on.

Safia and I were working until 6 pm for our project at the library, it was late and I still needed to pack up things for tomorrow's trip.

"By the way Brody, how did things end up with your father?" Safia asked while we were walking towards the car.

"When I arrived back home that day, he was already gone, which to me wasn't really a surprise. He's good at disappearing."

"And did your mom say anything?"

"No, I told her to drop it, if it was that important he would've waited." I responded.

Safia stopped and faced me.

"You're annoying, but if you want to have a serious conversation or anything... Then I'm only one call away."

"Omg that was so cheesy, but thank you" I chuckled.

We continued our way to my car and once again I offered Safia a ride home. As soon as we got closer to the car we saw someone standing by it. I immediately recognized who it was but Safia didn't.

"Who is that by your car?" she asked.

"I think that's Natalie" I responded.

"Hey babe what are you doing here?" I kissed her and Immediately saw that Safia felt uncomfortable.

Safia introduced herself to Natalie, but Natalie already knew who she was.

"Hey I'm Safia", I said politely.

"Yeah I know, you're the one taking all my boyfriend's time." she said while laughing but I could see that she wasn't kidding at all.

"Euhm yeah we have a project to do together." I replied.

"Yeah otherwise he wouldn't be hanging out with you" she fake smiled.

Oh, I don't like that girl one bit.

"Nat!" Brody said interrupting her.

"What? It's the truth!" Nat said.

Brody got a phone call and went to sit in the car to take the call.

"I hope that you don't have other plans for your friendship with Brody, 'cause if anyting happens between you guys I will not be too happy." Natalie said practicaly threatening me.

Brody came back and boy was I happy I wasn't alone with that low life anymore.

"I'm going to give Safia a ride home first and then I'll drop you off", Brody said opening the door for Nat to get in.

He also opened my door and waited until we got in and closed both our doors. He was a gentlemen..sometimes.

"Can't we just go to mine or your place and have some fun?" Natalie asked.

Why didn't I just walk home?

"Okay I'll drop Safia at her place and then we can go to my place." Brody responded.

The whole ride home I've wanted to shoot myself in the head just to get away from them. I swear to God I've considered opening the door and jumping out. We weren't driving that fast so I would possibly survive the fall. But I loved the scarf I was wearing today so that wasn't really an option. They were talking too intimate and Brody noticed that I was uncomfortable as he was looking at me in the rear-view mirror a few times. Third weeling much.

I finally arrived home and boy was I happy to get out of that car. I waved them goodbye and Natalie gave me one hell of a fake smile. I don't wanna know what they're planning on doing, Astagfirullah.

I went to bed early and set my alarm at 6 am. I definitely don't wanna oversleep for the trip tomorrow. The bus will not wait on those who are going to be late. They wouldn't be going with us and will be having detention for a whole week afterwards. Malik would first pick up Amina and then me.

*BeepBeepBeepBeep*

My alarm went off and I jumped into the shower. I've decided to wear my black sweatpants and a white T-shirt with a black hoodie.

I already made my suitcase yesterday so that I wouldn't be having trouble in the morning. I quickly wrapped my black scarf around my head and I heard Malik pulling up on our driveway. I went downstairs and kissed my mother and brother goodbye.

"I'll see you in 4 days lill sis, and don't do anything stupid" my big brother said.

Malik opened the trunk of the car for me and helped me with my suitcase. I jumped in the car and we made our way to school.

Amina sat beside me on the bus and Malik sat down besides one of his friends. Brody and Nat entered the bus a few minutes after us. He smiled at me when he passed by and went to sit in the back of the bus. That's where all the cool kids sat, I guess.

The teacher explained everything and gave us the strict rules about the rooms.

"No sneaking into the other rooms" she informed us.

The girls and guys in the back of the bus started laughing. So childish, I thought.

After that, the bus left. It was a two hour ride to our hotel.

We arrived at our hotel. Each room had two beds and a bathroom in it. I was happy when I heard that, it meant that I could share a room with Amina without anyone getting in the way.

The hotel was located nearby a forest, which made me think of every scary movie I've ever watched that involved a creepy forest.

We dropped our suitcases in our rooms and we had to get ready for our first activity. We had to make groups of 5 and find different spots in the forest. The only thing that they would give us was a map and a compass. The only problem we had, is that we needed to find two other people that wanted to join our cool little group.

Do you think something is going to happen on the trip?

Favorite this chapter and maybe I'll drop another new chapter today. :)
