《Danganronpa ocem》Chapter 4 Part 14

(There was a picture in the last part at the end showing what happened to Sumana, but it got taken down by wattpad so I'll just describe it here. Also, stop with the chlorophyll.)
Sumana hung silently from a noose, swaying silently. Her hair draped over her face, wide open eyes peaking through the gaps, tears streaming down from them.
Chapter 4, Deadly life
A heart of glass and an arm of steel
Hanako: Hey... Hey...
Hanako's voice shook, and I could see beads of sweat form on her forehead.
Randi: Sumana...?
I stepped over to Sumana, almost directly under her body. I could feel her shadow loom over me as I reached my hand up to investigate her death...
My eyes drifted up and I was forced to stop.
Sumana was glaring directly at me from above, neck bent forward, cracked at an unusual angle. A single tear fell from her eye and onto my shoulder, and I could feel the blood drain from my face, my heart seemed to stop together with time.
I used to joke about these things, it's something I never dared to mention in a situation like this. I'd draw these things, so much of it... Thinking it was all a joke...
It's not a joke anymore, is it?
???: ASHLYN? WHERE ARE YOU???
I heard footsteps approach the classroom, then stop at the door.
I turned. Everyone else was standing at the doorway.
Yu Xuan: What...
Chloe: Bro... This is not okay...
Randi: What? How are you guys all here? I thought only three people could be here at a time-
???: No no no! It's because you all found the real body! Ding dong bing bong!
The voice was so annoying and iconic, we instantly knew who it was.
Ashton: The real body..?
Junko: Yup! Now the real investigation begins...
Sophie: Do we get another Monokuma file, Junko?
Junko: Lemme think.... Nope!
Rachel: Then how are we even supposed to investigate???
Junko: Find out.
Junko faded away, like she was never there in the first place.
Chloe: Randi, Hanako... Where were the two of you?
Ashton: We'll ask the questions during the trial. For now, let's start investigating.
Chloe: Ash, you okay?
I snapped out from my daze and stepped away from Sumana's body.

Ashlyn: Yea- Yea I'm alright...
Chloe: Right. Let's start investigating.
- - - INVESTIGATION BEGIN - - -
Chloe: We'll start with the body. There's not much cause of death evidence in the real world, so it's all we can depend on.
Ashlyn: I don't feel comfortable with... Getting close again...
Chloe: Oh right, I'll do it then.
Chloe walked up to Sumana's body, hesitating a bit when she looked up, but continued.
Chloe: There's not much wrong with her... Oh, here.
Ashlyn: What is it?
Chloe: There's small slits all over her arm. They don't seem to be very deep. I wonder what caused them...
Chloe: Her robotic arm seems to be broken. The fingers are dented inwards and some wires are exposed.
Ashlyn: Who would break her arm?
Chloe: Her... Her leg is broken too.
Ashlyn: Ouch.
Chloe: I think that's all for the body. I can't seem to find anything else.
Ashlyn: Alright then, let's look around the room.
We walked over to the left side of the room.
Ashlyn: There's a small wooden stool knocked over at the corner of the room. It's quite far away from the body.
Chloe: Did somebody put it here?
Chloe: There's a bottle of chloroform on the table over here. It's almost empty.
Ashlyn: Hanako was knocked out with a whole bottle? Surely that's deadly.
Chloe: Well, she ain't dead.
We walked around the room a bit.
Ashlyn: Hey look, there's a small puddle of blood on the floor.
Chloe: What? There's nothing leading up to it. Where did it come from?
Ashlyn: There's a torn up cloth over here. It looks like it was torn roughly, without scissors.
Chloe: Could it be someone was tearing it in a hurry?
We walked over to the other side of the room.
Chloe: Eh? It's a rope.
Ashlyn: A rope?
Chloe: Yea, and there's blood on some of the spots.
Ashlyn: Blood???
Chloe: I think that's all the clues in this room. Where do we go next?
Ashlyn: Hanako and Randi were tied up in another room entirely. We should go investigate there.
Chloe: Good idea.
I led Chloe over to the other room, with every step, I felt my heart get heavier.

Ashlyn: Here.
Chloe: Let's look around.
Ashlyn: Oh hey, there's a few drops of blood here too.
Chloe: Where did it come from?
Ashlyn: It's in the middle of the room, where Hanako and Randi were around. Maybe they'll know something about this.
Chloe: I'll take it as these are the things used to subdue the two of them. A chloroformed cloth and some small rope pieces.
Truth bullet obtained! Small rope pieces
Ashlyn: There's a large blood smudge on this chair over here. Did Sumana hurt someone?
Chloe: Is it even her blood?
Ashlyn: I think we're done here. Maybe there's some clues in the real world. Do you want to investigate there?
Chloe: Wouldn't hurt to. We'll look through Sumana, Randi and Hanako's room first because they're the prime suspects, then check the second floor.
Chloe and I brought ourselves back to the real world.
Chloe: We're already in Randi's room, let's look around.
We looked around for a bit.
Ashlyn: Could you find anything?
Chloe: Nothing out of the ordinary, except this book.
Chloe showed me a leather cover book. The only words on the cover being "For you".
Ashlyn: What's inside?
Chloe: There's some writing, but it's smudged and the pages are black.
Ashlyn: Shit. I didn't find anything either. Lets go to Hanako's room.
We went over to Hanako's room and began looking around.
Chloe: Oh! I found something! It's a small black box!
Ashlyn: Open it!
Chloe opened the box... Revealing...
Ashlyn: Is that a... Revolver???
Chloe: Wait... Doesn't Sophie own this? Why is it with Hanako?
Ashlyn: Another question to solve during the trial...
Chloe and I headed over to Sumana's room.
Chloe: The Monokuma file stated that the only injury she has is a gun shot to the head. The revolver definitely made that.
Ashlyn: The bullet went all the way through, there's blood all over her pillow, behind her head.
Chloe: She seems so... Peaceful though.
Ashlyn: Maybe she was asleep when she got shot?
Chloe: I think you would be woken up by that. Oh hey- What's this?
Chloe picked up a piece of paper that was sitting on the bedside table.
Chloe: It's a note.
Ashlyn: From who?
Chloe: It doesn't say.
Ashlyn: Read it.
Chloe: Dear friends, by the time you are reading this, I will be long gone. I'm sorry that I cannot escape with everyone, I understand that this may be considered cowardly, but I am doing what's best and what's right. I wish you all the best for the rest of the killing game, and give my condolences if this killing game does continue. Once again, I'm sorry. Good luck.
Ashlyn: Did... Did Sumana write this?
Chloe: I guess so... We can't be sure though.
We searched around for a bit, but couldn't find anything, so we went down to the second floor arcade to search.
Chloe: I found something.
Ashlyn: What?
Chloe: It's a photo. Of...
Chloe hesitated for a bit, then held it out for me to see for myself.
Annan and Sumana smiled back at me, under the baby blue sky and radiant sunlight. They seemed to be at some sort of park, a giant pond packed with water lilies and lily pads behind them. Sumana had her arm up, making bunny ears on top of Annan's head.
Ashlyn: What...? What's this doing here? This was them before the killing game?
Chloe: There's another one here.
Chloe held up another photo. This time, it was of Annan and...
Ashlyn: Weird, there's another person here, but their face is scribbled over with marker. We can't tell who it is.
Chloe: Could it be Sumana?
Ashlyn: Maybe. They aren't in the park anymore. They're indoors somewhere, sitting at a table.
Chloe: Is this even relevant to the case?
Ashlyn: Probably not, since Annan and Sumana are both dead and we don't know who the third person is. What if the one in the picture was the murderer?
Chloe: Then I guess that would give them a reason to scribble out their face.
Next, we went to the cafe.
Chloe: There's nothing here except some spilled coffee on the floor.
Chloe and I checked the jewelry shop and cinema, but there was nothing worth noting.
Chloe: Well, what do we do now?
Ashlyn: Maybe-
Speakers: That's it, I'm done waiting. Get to the trial room! SEEYA! Puhuhuhuhuhu!
Chloe: I'll pray we found all the evidence. Let's go.
We walked up to the auditorium, the route being less of a depressing march and more of a repetitive chore.

God of Thieves
Matsumoto Kunio was just an average human living a boring life in Tokyo, Japan. That was the case until he died and was reincarnated to another world! Armed with a System and tasked with a mission to save the world, watch as Matou, the new name he was given, sets off on an epic adventure! …Or at least, that should have happened? “All right, hand me the thingamabob, you’re no longer the main character! Now, how does this thing work? Ah. “My name is Kayden, and witness my ascendance to the God of Thieves! None shall be safe from my hands, not even your beloved System! Muahahahaha!” This can’t be happening… Author’s note. Hi, this novel is a LitRPG novel. In case you are confused, both Kayden and Matou are main characters, but the ‘protagonist’ would be Kayden. The novel is pretty slow-paced (in my opinion), so do keep that in mind when reading. This is my first novel, so do leave reviews and comments on how to improve my writing. Be nice about it. Also, I recently added the profanity tag. There is some swearing but it's not excessive or anything. Adding it just in case. Taking a one week break! Basically until my exams are over.
