After what felt like hours of waiting, Rachel finally emerged from the hidden door. She wasn't hurt physically, but something was definitely bothering her.

Chloe: Rachel! You're okay! What happened? What were you told?

Rachel: Not much. I was given this.

Rachel pulled out a thin black book.

Ashlyn: What- What's that?

Rachel: The guy gave me this.

Rachel flipped it open to reveal a few folders. Seven, to be exact.

Chloe reached over and grabbed one of them, taking out the papers from the inside of it. There was a picture printed on it, on top of the text, the picture was...

Chloe: It's a picture of Crysty.

Hanako: Huh? Read it!

Chloe: Name, Crystabel, C75TY. Age, 16, victim, chapter 1?

Ashton: Rachel, when was this written?

Rachel: I-

Chloe: 16 years ago. It says the year here in the corner.

Randi: What??? How- That's fake!

Chloe: Even if it was, we still need to read through it. If the guy gave it to Rachel, it has to be important knowledge.

Yu Xuan: The guy might've been lying. He could be on Team Danganronpa's side.

Rachel: No, no he's not. And this is real.

Chloe: How do you know?

Rachel: Oh uh- lucky guess.

Chloe: Whatever, I'll continue reading. Killer, Kendric, K3D1C.

Randi: What're those numbers and letters?

Chloe: I don't know. Serial number?

Randi: You never know.

Chloe: Crystabel was adopted in Japan when she was a newborn by parents Itemoto and Sakiwara Jin, who were wealthy philanthropists. They donated to many animal shelters and Crystabel loved animals and spent many days volunteering at the local zoo, feeding the animals, doing animal shows and keeping everything in check, gaining her the title of ultimate zoo keeper. She was passionate about her job and empathized with the endangered animals she took care of, determined to help these species'. Hanako: If we're 16, and this was written 16 years ago, then this is obviously fake unless someone could tell the future!

Chloe: Look I don't know okay? I'm just reading what's on here!

Ashton: Read all of them. We need all the clues we can get.

Hanako: If these clues are even real.

Chloe: That's it for Crysty's paper, except for these pictures in the folder.

Chloe pulled out a few pictures from the folder. Pictures of Crysty when she was young all up to her before the killing game, happy as can be. Crysty with her dog, with her brother, with her parents, at the beach, at school, but in every one of these, so happy. And to think she was dead, so suddenly, and because she was murdered in a killing game that she didn't choose to participate in.

Chloe: I'll read the next one. It's Kendric's. Name, Kendric, K3D1C. Age, 16, blackened, chapter 1. Executed, last grab. Kendric was adopted in Japan when he was a newborn by parents Asahina and Hata Kazuki.

Rachel: Damn, Kendric and Crysty are adopted, just like me.

Chloe: Wait- You're adopted too?

Yu Xuan: So am I!

Ashton: Wait- Are we all adopted???

Ashlyn: I'm not.

Ashton: But everyone here is. Maybe your parents just didn't tell you. Do you look like them?

Ashlyn: Well they're Japanese and I-

Ashton: Do you look like them?

I thought about it for a while. My parents both had small eyes, pale skin and wavy hair. Based on how I looked right now, no I didn't. In fact, I was their complete opposite.

Ashlyn: No...

Ashton: Then that settles it. We're all adopted.

Randi: But... Why?

Chloe: Beats me. Can I continue reading?

Rachel: Please.

Chloe: His parents are the owners of Tokyo's most popular game brand, which drove him to get good at his parent's games and become the ultimate gamer. Kendric did many game reviews and attended all the gaming conventions in his area, earning him popularity amongst his friends. Despite his popularity however, he was quiet at times and liked keeping to himself sometimes in order to fully enjoy the games. He grew up going to English schools, just like Crysty, and me for that matter of fact, and before getting accepted into the ultimate academy, he went to "グラニットベイ English School for Boys".

Chloe: After a year there, he was offered a space in the ultimate academy, which landed him in the gateway plaza killing game when he was shopping for school supplies. Rachel: Next one is Annan's.

Hanako: Wait are we not going to address the similarities-

Rachel: We'll do that after. We need to read all of it first.

Chloe: Name, Annan, AN84N. Age, 16, victim, chapter 1. Killer, Hannan, H4N8N. Annan was adopted in Japan when she was a newborn by parents Maeda and Nagase Naofumi. Her mother, Maeda, is the chairwoman for Japan's most well known gymnast wear brand, Naofumi and Kirin Co. while her father, Nagase, is a well known gymnastics coach who had once participated in the Olympics.

Chloe: Annan was coached by her father, and was paired with Hannan, a fellow young gymnast, to be a duo, which is how they got the title of the ultimate gymnast duo. She treasured every moment she had with Hannan and other friends, including Sumana, SM47A, although they stopped talking after Annan turned 14 for no reason. She was dedicated and loyal to the ones close to her and tried to keep them safe and happy, sometimes pushing the blame onto herself when something bad happened to them.

Chloe: Before being offered a space in the ultimate academy, Annan went to "St. Mary's Sports School". After being accepted into the ultimate academy, she landed herself in the gateway plaza killing game while in her mother's gymnast wear shop on the first floor. She was killed in chapter two by Hannan while looking for her room key.

Yu Xuan: Okay but I realised everyone was adopted, had rich parents and went to English schools don't you think this coincidence is a little w-

Rachel: Oh my god just keep reading.

Chloe: Alright alright. This is going to take all night. Now it's Hannan's. Name, Hannan, H4N8N. Age, 16, blackened, chapter 2. Executed, self reflection. Hannan was adopted in Japan when she was a newborn by parents Tomita and Nomura Nobusuke. Her mother, Tomita, was a well known politician, who was assassinated when Hannan was only ten. Her father, Nomura is a gymnast coach, who paired Hannan with Annan, AN84N, to be a duo, which is how they earned the title of the ultimate gymnast duo.

Chloe: However bright Hannan seemed however, the assassination of her mother lead her to become obsessed and soon she was one of the most notorious anonymous serial killers in Japan, who killed only people who got too close to Annan for comfort. She was suspected on many accounts, but Annan vouched for her innocence and she was never convicted. Sumana, SM47A, knew about her serial killer identity but made a deal with Hannan that she would stay away from Annan and not call the police if Hannan never killed again. She kept her promise and after Hannan's 14th birthday, no more killings happened.

Rachel: Alright, now we need to read Alyssa, Miyoshi and Tan Liang's.

Chloe: Name, Alyssa, A1Y5A. Age, 16, victim, chapter 3. Killer, Tan Liang, TL14N. Alyssa was adopted in Japan when she was a newborn by parents Nishioka and Kaneda Aeko. Her parents were both doctors who owned "ヘルスストーン Hospital". From a young age, Alyssa was fascinated by the effects of drugs and their usage, commonly testing them on her younger brother.

Chloe: Her parents encouraged her to become a pharmacist, which she did, and it earned her the title of the ultimate pharmacist. However, at the age of 14, Alyssa discovered an even better use for drugs and slowly became addicted to cocaine, cannabis and other things like that, but with the use of her own medications that she created, she managed to stay healthy and unaffected.

Chloe: Before being offered a space in the ultimate academy, Alyssa went to "ひこちか English Academy of pharmaceutical study". She landed herself in the gateway plaza killing game while eating a sandwich in the food court. She was killed in chapter three by Tan Liang while thinking he wanted to meet up with her in the ice rink.

Rachel: Alright, just two more to go. Read Miyoshi's now.

Chloe: Name, Miyoshi, M10S1. Age, 16, victim, chapter 3. Killer, Tan Liang, TL14N. Miyoshi was adopted in Japan when she was a newborn by parents Mifune and Noda Hako. Her mother, Mifune, was an engineer who had designed many of the country's most important landmarks and her father, Noda, was an actor who acted in many award winning films. Miyoshi's parents wanted her to do well in school and be successful.

Chloe: They sent her to many classes, loaded her with tons of books and papers and enrolled her in the most prestigious schools. With all this piled onto her, Miyoshi became incredibly smart, but she had little friends as most her time that could've been spent with people was spent on studies and project work. The time spent in the house on studies also made Miyoshi's body very fragile, causing her to get a bone fracture even by tripping on a smooth surface.

Chloe: But Miyoshi excelled in mathematics, earning her the title of ultimate mathematician. Before being offered a place in the ultimate academy, Miyoshi interned at a small company doing data filing. She landed herself in the gateway plaza killing game while looking for a new laptop in the electronics shop. She was killed in chapter three by Tan Liang while pretending to be an accomplice in the murder of Alyssa, A1Y5A.

Chloe: And finally...

I heard Hanako gag.

Chloe: Name, Tan Liang, TL14N. Age, 16, blackened, chapter 3. Executed, chicken run. Tan Liang was adopted in Japan when he was a newborn by parents Saeki and Noyamano Miwako. His parents are the owners of Japan's most well known clothing brand, "ANIKLO", which sold both winter wear and summer wear for all ages. Originally, Tan Liang was a clothing model for his parent's company, but when sales began to drop, they looked for a new one and Tan Liang had to look for other ways to pass his time.

Chloe: He tried many things, like sports, painting or being an influencer, but they all failed. Until one day when he discovered his love for cooking. From that day, he cooked every day, trying to perfect his skills, but ignoring anything else in his life. This caused him to be bullied a lot for having bad grades. Tan Liang decided that he wanted to prove to the ones that bullied him that he could become successful, but he did so with impulsive decisions, leading to many bad outcomes, which he tended to blame on others and dismiss his liability.

Chloe: Eventually, Tan Liang got a job as a chef at a local restaurant, where he moved up to be the youngest head chef, which is why he was given the title of ultimate chef. He worked at this restaurant until he was offered a space in the ultimate academy, landing himself in the gateway plaza killing game when he was shopping for school supplies. He was executed in chapter three during his execution: chicken run, after killing Alyssa, A1Y5A, and Miyoshi, M10S1.

Chloe: That's all of it. And it's getting late. Do you guys still want to discuss about this?

Rachel: Maybe we should go get some rest and talk in the morning. That way our heads will be clearer.

Hanako: Mhm. Let's just go back to our rooms for the night.

Rachel took back the black book with all the folders inside, and we headed back to our dorms.
