As expected, Yu Xuan and Randi were at the cafe.

There was the smell of coffee wafting from the back, filling the whole room with a rich aroma.

Chloe: Is that coffee? Who made it?

Randi: You his seem to have forgotten that my talent is the ultimate barista.

Rachel: I mean you never really mentioned it.

Randi: I mean I'm not that proud of my talent, I'm not really the ultimate barista, I just hold the title. But that doesn't mean I can't make bomb coffee! I learnt from the best, after all.

Chloe: Did you have a barista teacher or something?

Randi: Oh no I wouldn't pay someone to teach me how to make coffee. It was my best friend, she worked as a barista for some time and she taught me how to make it like her. She would've gotten to be an ultimate but she let me have the position instead.

Hanako: Awww that's so sweet...

Yu Xuan: Well it isn't so sweet now.

Randi: It's the thought that counts, okayyy? But after I was accepted into the Ultimate Academy, she cut ties with me entirely. I was never able to figure out why she hated me all of a sudden.

Chloe: Damn that's sad. Could we have the coffee now by any chance?

Randi: Ooh yes! I've been waiting so long for the equipment, I can't wait to show you all my best friend's coffee method.

Randi ran to the room in the back and brought out a tray with multiple coffee cups on it.

Randi: Enjoy!

We each grabbed a cup and I took it few sips. It was the best coffee I'd had in a long time.

Chloe: Oh my god this is so good!

Randi: Thanks, I just kinda threw everything in.

Sophie: Anyway, we side tracked from what we came here for.

Hanako: Oh yea, we needed to tell you guys something.

Yu Xuan: What is it?

We told them what happened with Ms Shirogane's phone number just as everyone finished up their coffee.

Yu Xuan: So 9.30 tonight?

Chloe: Yup.

Randi: I wonder what new information we're going to find.

Rachel: Oh yea, guys it's 2.45, didn't we have a movie to watch at 3?

Chloe: Oh right, and uh, Yu Xuan and Randi did you guys manage to find anything in the cafe?

Yu Xuan: Unfortunately, there was nothing here. But what movie are y'all watching later?

Ashlyn: We don't know, but the cinema said there'd be one airing at 3, so we're gonna go see it I guess.

Rachel: Then we should get going.

Randi: Can I come along?

Yu Xuan: I want to come too.

Chloe: Sure, we should get going then.

We headed to the cinema, and as we expected, the movie theatre was open. We entered it and sat down in the front row. The theatre looked normal, and we waited for a while for the movie to start.

Randi: Oh my god it's been so long is it going to start or not?

Rachel: Shhhh it's starting.

And then the black screen flickered to life.

Chloe: What was that?

Hanako: That was very out of context.

Randi: That's it? I was hoping for a movie.

Chloe: That was anticlimactic. I'm leaving.

Ashton: Wait guys didn't you notice? At the start it said "Team Danganronpa" and at the end it said "New Danganronpa V3".

Chloe: So? Do they all work for Team Danganronpa or something?

Ashton: We've heard about Danganronpa V3 before, and didn't some people in the video look familiar?

Hanako: Those flashback lights... Maki Harukawa was a participant of Danganronpa V3. She was in that video! And those other people, they ran away with her in the other flashback light.

Yu Xuan: So those people on screen were people who participated in Team Danganronpa?

Ashlyn: Did you guys not see?

Chloe: See what?

Ashlyn: There was a girl there. Her name was....

Sophie: Tsumugi Shirogane, wasn't it?

Ashlyn: Yea, that's it.

Hanako: Shirogane??? Didn't we just-

Rachel: Is she the Ms Shirogane we tried to call??

Randi: But Ms Shirogane worked for Team Danganronpa. She was the head of costumes department or something right? Then how could she have been a participant? Maybe this is Ms Shirogane's daughter or something.

Yu Xuan: No, you're missing something. If Ms Shirogane was both a participant and a member of Team Danganronpa, it can only mean one thing...

Hanako: She has a split personality?

Yu Xuan: What? No.

Ashton: She was the killing game's Mastermind...

Yu Xuan: And if you looked closely, her ultimate probably has something to do with costumes too.

Chloe: You're right, she had those mannequin things behind her and she's holding things used to sew... Yea, maybe she was the ultimate fashionista or costume designer!

Rachel: But if she was the Mastermind, why did the person on the phone say she wasn't available? I mean she should still be working for Team Danganronpa, right?

Sophie: No. If you haven't noticed, we were in the same situation as her. A killing game. Where we have to kill each other?

Rachel: So you're saying-

Ashton: Ms Shirogane is dead. She died in the killing game and that's why we can't reach her.

Chloe: But she was the Mastermind. If she died, the killing game wouldn't be able to go on. From the flashback light, we know that three people escaped the killing game.

Sophie: But to get to the end successfully, only two people can remain.

Yu Xuan: Maybe they were able to find out who the Mastermind was and stop it before only two were left.

Ashton: That seems highly likely, but that means that before they found out, around... Six or seven murders occurred.

Randi: So what do we do now?

Chloe: I mean we just saw all the people in the V3 game, maybe it'll get us somewhere if we figure out who killed Ms Shirogane and how they did it. Then we can figure out how we should do it too.

Hanako: I agree. That could potentially save us some day.

Chloe: I guess we can figure that out tomorrow. Sumana found a flashback light in the arcade and it'll give us more information. We can use it tomorrow morning.

Randi: Wait, but aren't we gathering later at 9.30? Should we just use it later?

Chloe: That would be fine too.

Ashlyn: So what are we going to do now?

Rachel: Sumana's still in the arcade probably. Maybe we should go there to join her and play some games.

Hanako: Yessss! We really need to unwind. It's been so stressful here and I think we should take a break. Like the time we went ice skating.

Chloe: Did anything good really come of that?

Hanako: No, but I'm sure this time will be different.
