(I changed the description to have trigger warnings and a few more things I want to have as little trouble as possible, might add it to the AN)
Non-stop debate!
Truth bullets:
Wet Shirt
Wires and parts
Square hole in ice
Ice shavings
Ashton: First we need to check at the time. Did you see anything there that could have been used to DIY a round skewer?
Chloe: I think there was something... I just can't think of it...
Yu Xuan: Weren't there a bunch of wires? Maybe the killer stuck them into her abdomen.
Tan Liang: The hole in her chest was pretty large, you'd need to make such a large hole.
Randi: But there were no materials to use...
Hanako: Maybe the killer used something to carve out the weapon. - - - square hole in ice - - -
Ashlyn: I agree with that! - - - CONSENT - - -
Ashlyn: You're right, the killer must have carved the weapon out of the ice!
Rachel: What?
Chloe: At the crime scene, there was a large square hole in the ice, it was really deep so it's impossible for it to have been formed naturally. The killer must have carved the murder weapon out from it.
Sophie: Are you stupid? The murder weapon was round. The hole is square. That means the ice block was also rectangular.
Ashton: It's ice. It doesn't have a permanent shape. The killer could have changed the shape of the ice block into a sharp round skewer.
Tan Liang: How though?
I'm pretty sure I know how the shape of the ice block was changed. The killer...
1. Didn't use the ice block
2. Threw it at Alyssa
3. Carved the block down
4. Melted it down
Ashlyn: That's it! - - - GOT IT - - -

Ashlyn: The killer used something sharp to carve down the block into a sharp skewer! Maybe that's why there were ice shavings everywhere!
Randi: Well, what did the killer use to carve it down?
Chloe: There was a cleaver next to Alyssa's body. Cleavers are sort of rectangular, maybe the killer used that to carve out the block and make it a skewer. An icicle if you will.
Yu Xuan: So the killer stabbed Alyssa with an icicle? Couldn't they have just used any knife?
Ashton: I guess they wanted us to have a hard time finding out the weapon. I mean they didn't really succeed since we did it anyway, but they did a good job wasting our time and stalling I guess.
Hanako: You're right, the icicle would eventually melt under the hot lights in the ice rink.
Ashlyn: So that's why her shirt was wet...
Rachel: Okay, so now we know what was used to kill Alyssa. How about Miyoshi?
Ashton: We already figured out that the phone wasn't what sliced open her throat. What else was already on hand to do the trick?
Chloe: The cleaver!
Ashlyn: So the blood on the cleaver wasn't Alyssa's! It was Miyoshi's!
Hanako: We still need to figure out who died first.
Ashton: Well, let's see what other evidence we have. Was there anything else at Alyssa's scene?
Chloe: There was a note and a smudged upside down "A" on the ice next to the body.
Ashton: An- An upside down "A"???
Rachel: Do you think Alyssa tried to write the killer's name???
Randi: If that's the case, the killer is either Ashton or Ashlyn!
Ashlyn: No- Wait let's not jump to conclusions!
Hanako: She's right. Chloe, you said there was a note there, right? What did it say?

Chloe: It said something like "Meet me at the ice rink locker room, let's have a chat."
Hanako: Was there a name written there?
Chloe: There was, but unfortunately the killer blanked it out.
Ashton: How about those of you that investigated the daycare?
Yu Xuan: we found some wires, a dead phone and a used screwdriver. I'm pretty sure that's it.
Hanako: Mm...
Ashton: How about Miyoshi's room?
Chloe: We found a few things, actually. There was a note, hold on, I have it right now.
Chloe pulled a note out of her pocket and showed everyone what was written on it.
Rachel: 10pm? Daycare, hoodie, prepare. If it has a time, maybe we should check the CCTV footage.
Tan Liang: If I'm not wrong, at 10pm, Miyoshi entered the locker room.
Yu Xuan: It makes sense since the note told her to go there at 10...
Tan Liang: And at 9.50, a hooded figure entered the locker room.
Randi: Maybe that was the killer!
Chloe: Maybe that's what the note meant! At 10pm, Miyoshi had to go to the daycare by entering the locker room.
Ashton: Maybe the word "hoodie" was to tell Miyoshi to come with a hoodie and that the killer was also going to wear a hoodie.
Tan Liang: Wait a minute...
Ashlyn: What?
Tan Liang: Three days ago, I lost my hoodie.
Yu Xuan: You had a hoodie?
Tan Liang: Yea, I got tired of wearing the same clothes everyday so I checked out the clothing store and took a black hoodie.
Ashlyn: So the killer stole Tan Liang's hoodie?
Tan Liang: Seems like it.
Ashton: How about we investigate the CCTV footage even further?
Yu Xuan: Okay then, at 7pm, Miyoshi entered the locker room, and at 8pm she left together with... Sophie.
Randi: Sophie, why were you with the victim at the scene of the crime at the night of the crime? Are you the killer???
Sophie: Are you trying to frame me? You're just making yourself look dumb.
Ashton: No, why were you there?
Sophie: Why are we all here?
Ashlyn: Wait, I think I know why she was with Miyoshi.
Yea, I definitely know, it's because...
1. Miyoshi told me
2. It's in the meet up note
3. Miyoshi used a secret code to tell us
4. Miyoshi wrote about it in her diary
Ashlyn: That's it! - - - GOT IT - - -
Ashlyn: Miyoshi wrote it in her diary!
Rachel: Oh yea! She wrote that someone asked to meet her at the daycare at 7pm! That must be Sophie.
Ashton: Did it state why they met up?
Yu Xuan: I think Sophie was supposed to help her fix something...
Hanako: It said something like "She told me to bring extras" What do you think that means?
Ashton: Let's go back to what you found in the daycare. It does fit the description, wires, and screwdriver, but how about the phone?

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.

Am I The Only One Who Is Not Forced to Migrate Across Worlds....?
A random isekai adventure might not be random. Underlying conspiracies, not-so-kind world and most importantly two-faced characters. Only time can reveal the flaws of the so-called Migrators! *** I am rewriting the novel. All this time, I have honing my skills as a writer. As my first novel, this novel served as a self-reflection of how much I improved later on. This doesn't have the most unique of plots but as a first novel, I still have some aspirations and memories.

Red Street Daybreak
August Samuel Hatch was born under an inauspicious pattern of stars. It's granted him what is widely considered the most unlucky of inconveniences: becoming host to a powerful but pernicious spirit that will act as his guide and protector--and one day end his life. Sairne is sworn to stand by August's side and, when the fancy strikes her, advise him, all in the service of atoning for a past life she can’t remember having committed a grave enough offense to earn her soul indentureship in the mortal realm. Bound by a celestial contract neither one can negotiate, their fates are all they've ever known. But in a city ruled by religious right and where magic runs deep as bedrock, their search for a missing friend leads them to a dark conspiracy that could transmute the very magic that binds them to their fates, and that might grant them the ultimate choice: do they save the city or save themselves? Cross-posted on Wattpad and Ao3. For fans of fantasy YA story beats if they starred adults instead, 1920s inspired setting, lots of banter, larger cast of characters, somewhat soft magic system. Completed, but being actively edited prior to posting! I'm the only captain on this ship, so mind any errors.
