(This is my 40th chapter, and I just wanna say thank you for keeping me motivated by commenting and just viewing these parts in general. Honestly as long as I get views and some comments I know you guys actually care and I get motivation from it so thank you)
Ashlyn: Ashton- Yea uh come in I guess.
Ashton looked relatively the same except from the obvious red hand mark on his face, probably engraved in by an angry friend.
Ashton: Why did you tell Sophie that I told you that- Ah shit.
Ashlyn: I wanted to help you. She has to stop doing this to herself and making you feel all the guilt!
Ashton: So what you thought telling her about this would help her?? What how?? It's like telling a murderer that they murdered someone! You just made her mad at me and now I have this STUPID HAND PRINT ON MY FACE!
Ashlyn: Look I'm sorry I just wanted to see if she could change-
Ashton: Change??? You've known her for like what two weeks??? I don't know I've lost track of time here, but you think you can change her???
Ashlyn: I know I wasn't supposed to tell anyone what you told me but I did anyway but it was with good intentions so please forgive me-
Ashton: I told you because I needed to vent my frustration! Not for you to confront her! I can handle that myself! I told you because I trusted that you would keep your mouth shut and now she probably hates me!
Ashlyn: Why're you guys friends anyway? Sophie doesn't look like she's capable of making friends-
Ashton: After the first trial, she passed out while going to her dorm for the reasons I told you, so I took her there myself and since I helped her she decided that I could be trusted so she told me everything.

Ashlyn: That's a very simple way of thinking.
Ashton: Sophie's a simple person...
Ashlyn: ...
Ashton: No NO I don't mean it in a bad way I mean all she wants is despair and- Oh that's not any better.
Ashlyn: Well we need to do something about it-
Ashton: We??? What're you, a communist??? She doesn't like you! She doesn't like anyone here she only likes despair!
Ashlyn: Well then I'm pretty sure she only pretends to like you because you're a detective and you're useful to her! If it's despair she wants then she'd want someone who could cause a lot of impact to be on her side.
Ashton: It doesn't matter! Look, I'm just here to say that you totally messed her shit up.
Ashlyn: I'm so sorry, I was trying to help.
Ashton: I think you should help yourself first, Ash.
Ashton looked over at my notebook paper, drenched in salty tears.
Speakers: Attention students, it is now 10pm. Therefore, it is now night time. Please note that the auditorium is off-limits during night time, so please exercise caution. Also note that sleeping anywhere other than the dormitory will be seen as sleeping in class and punished accordingly. Sweet dreams, puhuhuhuhu!
Ashton: I'll go now, good night.
Ashlyn: ...
Ashton left the room.
Ashlyn: Shit.
I dove onto the bed and buried my head this time in the pillow. My hands and feet were sweating a lot, but I covered my whole body in a blanket in hopes to shield me from whatever would come. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted to sleep.
...
???: Hello?
Ashlyn: Huh? Who's there?
Crysty: It's me.
Ashlyn: Crysty! I've missed you so much I-
I ran up to her and pulled her into a hug. It was so warm and nice.

Crysty: Ashlyn I'm so sorry to say this but you...
Ashlyn: No...
Crysty: You're going to die here.
Ashlyn: No shut up, I'm not going to die here! You're wrong!
Crysty: I'm not the one wrong, you're just in denial. I'm not even Crysty, I'm just you but in Crysty's form so you start to think that Crysty's the one who's trying to tell you this. You're going to die here.
Ashlyn: NO I WON'T! I'LL NEVER DIE HERE, I CAN'T-
Crysty: But you will.
I woke up, drenched in my own sweat from being covered in a blanket the whole night.
That was rough... I don't think the morning announcement has played yet. I doubt that anyone else is awake yet as well. What should I do now? I don't want to get out of bed yet though...
I stared at the ceiling for a few seconds and slowly closed my eyes, hoping to get a bit more sleep.
Speakers: Good morning students! It is now 7am! Get up and have a beeaautiful day!
God dammit.
I kicked off the blanket and sat up on the bed, rubbing my eyes.
I think it's time to go to the food court.
When I reached, I realised I was the first one there. I guess waking up slightly before the announcement has its benefits.
I grabbed myself an apple and began munching on it. Everyone slowly began to flood into the food court.
Yu Xuan: Good morning Ash, you're the first one here?
Ashlyn: Yea. I woke up a bit earlier today, I didn't really sleep well.
Yu Xuan: Same, honestly. I guess I'm just a bit paranoid since...
Chloe: Good morning.
After a while, mostly everyone had arrived.
Ashton: I don't think everyone is here.
Hanako: We're missing Alyssa and Miyoshi.
Chloe: They're probably doing their own thing.
Rachel: I can understand Alyssa not being here, but Miyoshi normally shows up everyday no matter what. And she's normally the first one here...
Randi: What if something happened to her???
Tan Liang: Should we go look for them?
Sophie: I'm sure they're fine, but if you guys want to, I'm okay with that as well.
Ashlyn: I'm sure Alyssa's fine, but maybe we should go look for Miyoshi.
Chloe: Okay then, let's go.
We walked around the fifth level, including knocking on her room door, no Miyoshi.
Ashton: She could be on the fourth.
Fourth level, also no Miyoshi.
Ashton: If she's not on the third floor, it means she disappeared off the surface of the earth. In that case, we salute our fallen soldier.
Sophie: Very funny haha I'm laughing so hard.
We searched around the third floor too, until...
Ashlyn: The door to the locker room is locked. We can't get to the other shops or the ice rink.

I AM BRAND
"Fear is only as deep as the mind allows, and the only thing we have to fear is fear itself” -Travelling Poet "It was on a night, ever so dark, that I truly found out what horror was. The way of the profound means nothing, in fact, is not even considered a spec of dust in front of true strength. No mere mortal nor a mere god could achieve such strength, much less rival it. In fact, it wasn't this tyrannical strength I feared so much, it is the one who holds it. I swear by the law on my follower's belief, that I would and will never forget that night for the rest of my life. The true fearsome power held by an unfathomable existence.
