《Danganronpa ocem》Chapter 1 part 3

After hearing Sophie say all that, I no longer had the will power or the brain cells left to continue searching, so I decided to head to my dorm and rest a little. I'm sure the rest of them can handle the other shops. I'm going to look around my dorm a little, then go to sleep.
- - - SEARCH - - -
There's a huge bed in the corner. The sheets are well folded, I could just flop right on and...
...
...
...
Monokuma: Good morning students! It is now 7am! Get up and have a beeaautiful day!
Ah, looks like a fell asleep yesterday while I was supposed to be looking around my room. Whatever, now I at least feel a little less tired. There's nothing around the room anyway, so there wasn't much to search. I guess I'll go to the food court for breakfast now.
I walked over to the food court and saw the others sitting at a table, eating whatever they could find in the stalls.
Chloe: Ash! Come sit down, I was just telling everyone about what we found yesterday.
Ashlyn: Oh, what did everyone have to say?
Chloe: Well they thought the secret room was pretty suspicious, but they agreed that the thumb print scanner was a good way to find the Mastermind, so we decided to go together later so we can all scan it. Well except Sophie, she's not here...
Ashton: But that's okay, right? The rest of us are here, so if none of our thumb prints go through, we'd know Sophie was the Mastermind...
Chloe: I guess it's settled then! We'll all head over to the electronics store later. Oh yea, Ash don't forget to show them that hair clip you found yesterday.
Alyssa: What hair clip?
I pulled out the hair clip from yesterday.

Rachel: Woah, it's like Monokuma, but his whole head is evil...
Crysty: What do you think this is?
Ashlyn: Well we think that the Mastermind could've dropped it, and I've been thinking that since this is one side of Monokuma, maybe the Mastermind has the other side. So all we have to do is search the dorms and-
Monokuma: Excuse me!
Hannan: Oh it's-
Annan: Monokuma!
Monokuma: I overheard your conversation, and found out about your plan to find the Mastermind! So I decided to switch things up a bit, you know?
Crysty: What have you done?
Monokuma: Well, I've realised the flaw in the security here, and now the thumb print scanner has been changed to a card reader! Puhuhuhuhu!
Crysty: YOU LITTLE BASTARD! THAT WAS OUR CHANCE!
Monokuma: Exactly! I couldn't have you guys finding me out so early into the game! That's just gonna ruin all the fun!
We all looked in shock as Crysty pulled up Monokuma by his ears and prepared to punch him in the face. But she was stopped by-
Sophie: Don't do that.
Crysty: Why not? This stupid bear destroyed our last chance at finding the Mastermind! We're back to square one!
Sophie: If you touch him, you'll be the one destroyed.
Crysty: Huh?
Monokuma: Puhuhuhuhu! That's right, I need to give you a few things as well!
Monokuma pulled out a pile of what looked like tablets and placed them on the table. We grabbed one each, and they turned on.
Monokuma: These are your student handbooks! Check them out for the rules of this game!
Chloe: It says here, 'Violence against Monokuma is strictly prohibited, as is destruction of surveillance cameras.'
Crysty: And what happens if we break these rules?
Sophie: You'll get killed.
Chloe: Oh great! So now not only do we have no lead on the Mastermind, we have rules!

Hanako: Guys please don't worry! Remember what Ashlyn said about the other hair clip? We can search the dorms to find the Mastermind!
Monokuma: Oh you mean this?
Monokuma pulled something else out.
Chloe: Monokuma has it???
Rachel: So now how are we going to find the Mastermind?
Ashton: W- we're back to square one...
Alyssa: Not cool.
Monokuma: One more thing! I'm going to give you all a motive! Puhuhuhuhu!
Sophie: Oh? A motive?
Crysty: No! Even if you give us a motive, we're not killing anyone!
Monokuma: That's what they all say, I doubt this batch will be any different!
Crysty: This... Batch?
Monokuma: Anyway! Your motive is simple! If you succeed in getting away with your murder, you'll get the luxury of picking one more person to escape with!
Tan Liang: That's a lame motive, no one's going to kill for that!
Monokuma: You have two more days to murder, excluding today, this is a limited offer only! And at the end of the third day, if no one is dead, the offer will no longer be valid.
Hanako: Did you even hear him? He said we're not going to murder for that reason!
Monokuma: Happy killing! Puhuhuhuhu!
And with that, Monokuma disappeared.
Ashton: H- Hanako's right. We're not going to kill for that motive... Agree?
Randi: Yea! Those words mean nothing to us!
Hannan: Even if-
Annan: There's a time limit...
Crysty: Cheer up guys! I haven't forgotten my promise to kill the Mastermind, so you guys can't forget it either!
Miyoshi: She's right. I believe in Crysty.
Chloe: So do I.
Alyssa: Yea me too I think!
Rachel: I'll believe in her too!
Ashlyn: Let's all stay hopeful, for Crysty.
And we all made a promise to our friend, that we would believe in her, and the fact that she would kill the Mastermind and set us free.
I decided to head back to my dorm to find what to do next.
Hm. I don't really have anything to do right now, I guess I'll go find someone to hang out with.
- - - FREE TIME START - - -
(Free time events are not spoilers for who will die first, I use a wheel to pick people at random, so this is all random there are no spoilers, if the person in free time dies next, it's merely a coincidence.)
Miyoshi: Oh hey Ashlyn.
Ashlyn: I was thinking if you wanted to hang out, like together?
Miyoshi: Yea sure. What do you wanna do?
Ashlyn: Maybe we could just grab a drink at the food court.
Miyoshi: I'd love to.
Miyoshi and I spent a bit of time in the food court chatting over some hot tea.
Miyoshi: Thanks for hanging out with me today, I don't normally do a lot of talking and stuff, like in person.
Ashlyn: You don't? Do you not like people?
Miyoshi: Well, not really. No one really asks me anyway, and when they do I'm usually really busy. Sometimes I doubt people actually like hanging out with me.
Ashlyn: I like hanging out with you!
Miyoshi: Oh uh thanks...
Ashlyn: Is there anywhere you like to go? Anything you like to do?
Miyoshi: The most memorable outing I've had with someone was when we went to this Japanese restaurant that sold katsudon. I don't know how they knew, but katsudon is my favorite food.
Ashlyn: I'll take note, and once we escape this place, I'll go with you to eat the best katsudon in town.
Miyoshi: Wow, thanks Ash.
Looks like I grew a little closer to Miyoshi today!
Authors note: school starting soon so I might not be able to write everyday.
