《I'm An Idiot》6

It was your third day in Busan and so far, you and Jungkook didn't have any plans for the day. Hence, the both of you were in your shared room and on the bed, doing your own things.
You were seated cross-legged on the end of the sofa and enjoying a book while Jungkook's head was rested on your lap, his body lying outstretched on the furniture as he scrolled through his mobile phone.
The room was filled with a comfortable silence as you simply enjoyed Jungkook's company.
"(Name)-ah! We're spending the day together!"
The peaceful atmosphere ended the moment Eunha burst through the door and startling both you and Jungkook. The brunette fell onto the floor out of shock while your hands fumbled with your book as it landed on the floor facing down.
Eunha winced at the pained hiss that left Jungkook's lips. "Oops, my bad."
You laughed quietly at Eunha's unapologetic whilst Jungkook glared at the older female, a scowl on his face. Getting up from the sofa, you stretched out a hand to Jungkook who accepted it and pulled him onto his feet.
"You okay?" You give your friend a concerned smile.
"Other than my back, I'm fine," Jungkook muttered, the scowl still presence on his face while he rubbed his sore back.
"Whelp! Now that's out of the way, (Name) got get change, we're going to some girls' time!" Eunha whooped as she entered and tried to shove the muscle pig out of the room, only to fail miserably because she didn't have the strength to move Jungkook an inch.
You watched the pair with amusement as Eunha demanded to move his ass but being the stubborn mule that he was, Jungkook stood his ground with crossed arms while shaking his head.
"Jungkook, stop resisting me and move!" Eunha huffed, nearly losing her balance.
"Hell no! You aren't going anywhere with my girlfriend. (Name)'s mine."
"She can't always hang around you. She needs to spend time with people of the same gender as her, aka me!"
After a few attempts to move Jungkook, Eunha gave up and threw her hands up in defeat, a frustrated look on her face. "You're impossible, Jeon Jungkook!"
The brown-haired male smirked triumphantly as the fact that he had won this argument. "Well, I'm not going anywhere and so isn't (Name)."
Jungkook's tone held a hint of finality and made his way back to the sofa, seating down. You rolled your eyes at his words, commenting, "I may be your girlfriend, but doesn't give you the right to have control over me. I'm still my own person."
Approaching Eunha who was pouting, a small smile appeared on your lips and comforted her. "Ignore Jungkook, unnie! He's just being overprotective over me. Besides, I feel like I do need a day out with my best favourite unnie, what do you say?"
Her face lit up like the Fourth of July as she leapt to her feet. Grabbing your hands, she began to spin both you and her around and around like a little kid. "Yay! I've so much plan out for us!"
You giggled at her childlike attitude even though she's 25 years old and engaged to someone. It was refreshing to you.
You were about to ask where you would be going when Jungkook stepped between you and Eunha, separating the both of you. A scowl was present on his face as he addressed his future sister-in-law, his tone stern. "Noona, if (Name)'s going, then I'm coming along."

Slapping Jungkook on the arm, your mouth was set into a frown. "Do you not understand what's call a girls' day out?"
The brown-haired male turned to you and scoffed. "Of course, I do, but the point is you aren't going anywhere without me."
"Stop being so possessive over me, Jungkook. Besides, it's only our third day here which means you still have plenty of times to hang out with me."
"But –"
"Jungkook-ah are you the one who makes my beloved cry?"
Jungkook protested but was cut off by his older brother who just so happened to walk past the room when he saw Eunha on the verge of tears, her eyes glossy from unshed tears.
You smirked as Jungkook's body became rigid with fear, knowing that he was in deep trouble. He turned around slowly and faced Seokjin, a nervous smile on his face. "No?"
The older male's mood darkened when Jungkook's answer was more of a question rather than a statement. He walked up towards the shorter male and pinched his right ear, dragging him out of the room. "It's been a while since we spend some quality brother time together and we're gonna do that right now. We'll see you, girls, later."
You snickered and teasingly wiggled your fingers in your best friend's direction who was glaring murderously at you while Eunha happily bid her fiancé farewell. The two of you turned to face one another, giant grins on your faces.
"Shall we officially start our girls' day out now?" You asked.
"Yes!" Eunha cheered and skipped to your side, linking arms with you.
You chuckled at her youthfulness, the smile not leaving your face as you looked forward to spending a day with your favourite older female friends.
Music was blasting in the small space as you and Eunha sang at the top of your lungs, wiggling in your seats. Neither of you cared if you received weird looks from other drivers because you were having the time of your life.
"You got the best of both world!" You belted out the lyrics, holding an imaginary mic over your mouth.
The song finally came to an end and you slumped down in your seat, chest heaving from all the singing. There was a giant grin on your face as Eunha turned down the volume of her radio, music playing softly in the background.
"Whew! There's such a workout!" You huffed and pretended to wipe off sweat from your forehead.
Eunha giggled at your antics, her eyes fixed on the road ahead of her as she teased you. "I can't believe you get so tired easily from singing. Are you sure you've been exercising?"
"My best friend may be a muscle pig who loves to exercise at any given chance, but that doesn't mean I'm like him." You laughed, remembering that one time where you nearly died of exhaustion from Jungkook's extreme exercise regime.
Shaking her head, Eunha commented. "I won't be surprised if Jungkook one day surpasses his hyungs where he'll become the top."
Both of you shared a laugh imagining the brown-haired male standing on one foot over his friends who were in a dog pile, his hands on his hips as he cackled triumphantly.
After another ten minutes of driving, you finally arrived as Eunha turned the car into the car park and parked the vehicle in an available lot. Since it was a weekday, the mall that Eunha had brought you to wasn't as crowded, unlike the weekend.
"What shall we do first?" You asked the black-haired female who was standing next to you and linking arms.

"Hmm," Eunha hummed thoughtfully before her eyes lit up. "You haven't eaten lunch, yet right?"
You shook your head at her question.
"Then, let's go and eat first!" She cheered and dragged you to a ramen restaurant.
You chuckled at her enthusiasm as she called out to the waiter who showed you and Eunha to your table tucked away cosily at the back of the restaurant. He handed two menus and said that he would back later when you were ready to order.
You thanked the waiter and opened the menu, skimming through what the restaurant had to offer.
"You done deciding on what to eat?" Eunha asked.
You nodded your head and placed the menu aside while Eunha called the waiter from earlier on over, ready to place your order.
"Good afternoon, ladies. I'll take your order now." The waiter commented, his notebook and pen ready to write down the orders.
"I'll have a meatball spaghetti." Eunha pointed to the menu and the waiter took down her order. She turned her attention to you. "What'll your order be?"
You gave the waiter a smile and answered. "I'll like to have (f/f) please. Thank you."
"Will, that be all?" The waiter asked.
"Yea, that'll be all."
The waiter bowed and took the menus away, saying that he would be back with your orders soon. You thanked the waiter once more before turning your attention to the older female who was looking at her mobile phone and laughing about something.
You leaned your head against your propped-up arm, your brows raised in curiosity. "What are you laughing about, unnie?"
"I received a picture from Jin. Here, I'll show you." She handed you her phone and the screen showed a picture of Jungkook covered in whip cream, a scowl on his face.
You gave her back her phone, laughing. "What did he do to deserve that?"
"Apparently, both him and Jin bet against each other in playing Mario Kart and whoever loses will be covered in whip cream."
"I guess, boys will always be boys no matter what their ages are."
Both of you exchanged laughter at your words when the same waiter returned with your orders.
"Here's your meatball spaghetti, miss." He placed the plate of steaming spaghetti in front of Eunha who thanked him before placing your plate in front of you as well. "And here's your (f/f). Enjoy!"
The moment the waiter left, both of you dug into your food, enjoying the deliciousness of it. You were so hungry since you had quite an earlier breakfast and it was almost 1 pm in the afternoon, you didn't talk and simply focused on eating – same goes for Eunha.
"That was good. We should come back here with the boys next time." Eunha said as she wiped her mouth with a napkin.
Placing your utensils neatly on the finished plate, you wiped clean your mouth, agreeing with her. "Definitely. I know that Jungkook'll love their pizza here."
"Ooo, look at you. Such a thoughtful girlfriend!" Eunha cooed as your cheeks flushed a light pink.
You ignored the black-haired female and raised your hand to signal the waiter that you were ready to make your payment. "We're ready to make our payment."
"Of course. You may proceed to the counter to make your payment."
You gave Eunha a triumphant smirk who stuck her tongue back at you. Shaking your head at her sulking, you stood up and proceeded to the counter to pay the meals that you had ordered.
Eunha looked through her wallet to take her credit card out when you handed yours over to the waiter who rang you up. She was about to protest, but you quickly spoke up. "I know you're probably gonna spend money on me later when we go shopping, so at least let me pay for our lunch."
"You're so lucky that I love you." Eunha teasingly said and kept her wallet away.
You rolled your eyes at her words and thanked the waiter who handed you back your card, telling you to come back soon. You kept your wallet safely in your back and walked out of the restaurant with Eunha.
"So, where to next?" You asked.
Her eyes lit up when Eunha remembered why she asked to spend a day out with you in the first place. There was a bounce in her steps as she took you by the hand and begun to walk at a fast pace.
"Slow down unnie! What's the rush for?" You laughed as you let the older one dragged you.
Without looking back at you, she continued pulling you along but slowing down her walking pace. "Sorry, I got too excited when I remember that I ask you to come along with me is because I wanted you to help me choose the perfect wedding dress for my wedding day."
(E/C) hues widened with surprise when you heard her words. You dug your heels into the ground and came to stop, tugging Eunha backwards slightly. She stumbled slightly at the abrupt stop but found her balance and turned to you with a concerned frown.
"What's the matter, (Name)?"
Your brows were furrowed with slight confusion as you asked. "Shouldn't Jin-Oppa be the one accompanying you to choose your wedding dress since he's the one you're getting married to?"
Eunha blinked once, twice and then chuckled at your question. She lifted a hand to your head and gently ruffled your hair, smiling. "You're so cute at times. It's true that Jin's the one who should help me, but I don't him to see my wedding dress until the day of our wedding and he's fine with it. Since I don't have anyone else besides my girlfriends, but they couldn't make it until next week. Hence, I choose you to help me."
Your eyes softened at the fact that Eunha had chosen you and it fills you with joy. "It's an honour, Eunha-unnie. I promise I won't let you down."
Eunha beamed at your words and ruffled your hair for the last time before linking arms with you, bringing you to the wedding dress boutique she had decided to get her dress from. "I know you won't!"
"Welcome to our boutique. It's nice to see you again, Ms Song. Will you be finalizing on your wedding dress today?"
Soomi, one of the store's attendants, approached Eunha with a polite smile. Eunha let go of your arm and replied Soomi with a smile of her own. "Yeap! I'm here to try out the dress that is fitted according to the measurements that were taken on my last visit."
"Of course, right this way please."
Soomi led Eunha towards a section of the boutique meant for women to try on their wedding dresses. You trailed after the duo who were discussing Eunha's wedding dress and to be honest, you were eager to see how the dress looked like.
"(Name), why don't you take a seat at their sofas while I change into my dress? Afterwards, you can critic on how I look." Eunha suggested and you nodded your head, making your way to the seating area.
The soon-to-be bride followed after Soomi who brought her to the closed-off area and helped her to get dressed. While you waited, you decided to check your social media when you received a message from Jungkook.
You opened the message to read it.
You chuckled at the selfie that was attached to the message – Jungkook looking a miserable bunny who missed its owner. You took a selfie of your own and sent it to your best friend, along with your reply.
Giggling, you imagined a pouty-looking Jungkook with puppy eyes. You placed your front in of you and adjusted to get the right angle before taking a video of you doing hand kisses.
You checked the video and once you were satisfied with it, you sent it to Jungkook.
You were about to type a reply when Eunha's voice came from behind the changing screen.
"(Name), I'm done getting into my dress. I'll be out in a sec!"
"Okay, unnie!"
You quickly type a reply to Jungkook and kept your phone away without even waiting for his reply. Your phone buzzed in your pocket, telling you that Jungkook had replied, but that was the last thing on your mind when Eunha walked out from behind the changing screen in her wedding dress.
She was dressed in a sleeveless wedding dress, the sweetheart neckline showing off a bit of her cleavage as the skirt part of the dress flair out in layers that reached the floor.
Song Eunha looked like a princess that walked out of a Disney movie and she looked beautiful even when the full ensemble wasn't complete yet.
"You look beautiful." You breathed out, your eyes refusing to tear itself away from the gorgeous woman in front of you.
Eunha flushed a light pink and did a slow twirl, her dress spinning beautifully. "You think Jin'll like it?"
"Trust me, he won't like it." Eunha's smile fell at your words until you went on. "He'll love it. If this is how I'm reacting now, imagine his reaction being ten times more than mine when you walk down that aisle. He'll shit his pants at how gorgeous his soon-to-be wife will be."
The black-haired female's eyes were sparkling with joy and her lips were curled into the biggest smile you had ever seen yet. She did a few poses here and there, looking into the mirror to see if there were any adjustments needed to be made.
Once she was satisfied, she changed out of the dress and into her normal clothes. After discussing the final details with Soomi, both of you left the boutique and spent the rest of the day shopping and doing what girls do for fun.
By the time, both you and Eunha left the shopping mall, it was already evening. The sun was low in the sky as colour ribbons of orange, pink and purple streaked across the atmosphere.
You stood there with arms full of shopping bags as Eunha loaded them into the car boot. Everything was done unloading and you entered the car, buckle your seatbelt.
Eunha started up the engine and reversed out of the parking lot. Soon, the car was on the road that led back home.
Glancing out of the window, you watched as blurred images of trees and houses passed by, humming quietly underneath your breath. Other than the radio playing softly in the background, neither of you exchanged words as Eunha focused on driving home.
20 minutes passed, and the familiar house of the Jeon household came into view. You opened the car door and got out, heading to the back to unload the shopping bags. Eunha joined you a few seconds later after she turned off the engine.
Both of you were chattering as you walked up to the front door which was already opened with two familiar faces waiting impatiently for their partners to arrive.
Seokjin greeted his fiancée with a swift kiss to the cheek and took the shopping bags from her, both of them heading inside first. That left you and Jungkook.
You stood with brows raised and lifted your hands which were holding three shopping bags on each side. "Are you just gonna stand there or come and your girlfriend?"
Jungkook had the audacity to smirk and not move at all, leaning against the door frame with his crossed arms. "Well, you aren't exactly my girlfriend per say. So, I don't have to help you like Jin-hyung."
You scowled at the brunette whose smirk grew and you were so tempted to whack your best friend in the face with the shopping bags. Then, an idea went off in your head.
Jungkook's smirk fell as his eyes narrowed with suspicion when he saw the mischievous smile that you were sporting on your face. "(Full Name), just what exactly are you planning?"
Two can play at this game, Kookie.
Shrugging, you walked up to the door and past by Jungkook. "Well, since I'm not exactly your girlfriend like you so kindly mention, I'll just tell everyone that."
