《I'm An Idiot》3

"What do you mean I won't be getting my own room?!"
Jungkook shrugged as he continued unpacking his luggage, not even bothering to look you in the eyes when he answered. "My grandmother was the one who insisted we sleep together, not me. If you're wondering."
You ran your fingers through your (h/c) locks, a frustrated look on your face. Your eyes were glaring holes into Jungkook's back, silently demanding him to pay attention to you. "You could have said no when your grandmother brought it up! So why didn't you?!"
The brown-haired male paused in his packing, a neatly folded shirt in his hands. You raised your brows in question, wondering why the boy had suddenly stopped. No words were exchanged between the both of you – Jungkook seemingly to be in deep thought while you gave him concerned looks.
For someone who was always so loud and outspoken to become silent suddenly, it meant that there was something wrong with the person.
Minutes had passed, and your patience was starting to run thin. You stood up from the sofa that you had been sitting on when waiting for your best friend to collect his thoughts.
You closed the distance within a few steps. Placing a gentle hand on Jungkook's shoulder, your voice held a hint of worry. "Jungkook-ah, are you okay?"
You gnawed on your lips, the worry ever growing. Maybe, I shouldn't have said anything at all. But then again, there's nothing wrong with bringing up the issue considering we're not actually dating. So, there's no need for us to share a room.
You were starting to regret what you had said. Why couldn't you just learn to shut your mouth at times?
"Kook-ah, I'm sorry." You whinnied, hating it whenever a friend of yours got mad at you because of the things you said or did. "Please don't be mad at me."
You were taken aback when your back met with the wall – a painful hiss escaped from between your lips from the sudden impact. It happened so fast that you couldn't process what had just happened.
Apparently, for some reasons, Jungkook thought it was a brilliant idea to slam you against the wall not so gently.
Irritation burning in (e/c) orbs snapped up to meet with brown ones. "Jeon Jungkook! What's the meaning of this?! I get it you're angry at me, but you didn't have to slam me against the wall!"
However, your irritation quickly faded to nervousness when you noticed the dark look in Jungkook's eyes, his face blank. His chocolate brown orbs had turned a shade darker as they bore into your eyes, looking straight into your soul.
You had only just realized the situation you were currently in. Jungkook had you trapped between him and the wall, an arm against the wall to support his weight.
"E-Erm, w-what are you doing?!" Your sentence ended in a squeak as Jungkook leaned in closer to the point both your noses were brushing against one another.
Looking at you from the corners of his eyes, he couldn't help but smirked when he saw the state you were in – eyes squeezed shut, arms glued to the side of your body, cheeks flushing a light shade of pink.
Cute. He thought to himself, lips darting out to wet his lips.
At this rate, your brain was going into overdrive at the sticky situation you had found yourself to be in. You swore if Jungkook doesn't take a step back, you're going to faint.
With your heart threatening to jump out of your throat, you swallowed the lump that had formed in your throat, saying, "P-Please s-stop."

Jungkook ignored your plea, invading your personal space. "The reason why I didn't protest against my grandma is that I don't want to meet her wrath."
You shuddered when you felt Jungkook's breath on your ears. Your heart was threatening to jump out of your throat, a zoo rampaging in your stomach.
A second or two passed and you were met with silence. Curiosity got the best of you as one eye peeked open, only to realize that Jungkook was no longer invading your personal space.
In fact, he was back to unpacking his luggage as though nothing had happened.
You released a sigh of relief which quickly turned into anger directed at your best friend for nearly giving you a heart attack. Picking up a pillow from the sofa, you threw it at Jungkook who turned to scowl at you.
"What the hell was that all about?" You growled, another pillow in your hand ready to be thrown at the boy again.
The brown-haired male's scowl into a smirk, shrugging. "I was just simply replying to your question."
Wrong answer because Jungkook was met with the pillow again, this time you had aimed for his face.
The pillow slid down Jungkook's face, his brows twitching. "Was that really necessary?"
You crossed your arms across your chest, frowning. "Yes, since you couldn't have answered me like any normal person does."
It was a staring competition as neither of you moved, eyes not leaving one another. You became on guard as Jungkook bent down to pick up the pillow that you had thrown at him earlier on.
The boy rose to his full height, a smirk on his face.
"Don't you dare, Jeon Jungkook." Your eyes narrowed at your friend, warning him.
"Oh, but I feel like it. So, what are you gonna do?" Jungkook smugly replied.
"I'll murder you in your sleep." You threatened.
Your threat was ignored as your face met with a pillow. Pelts of laughter filled the room as Jungkook clutched his stomach, his head thrown back.
"Oh, that's it." You mumbled, scooping up the pillow that Jungkook had aimed at you.
Screams and laughter filled the room as a full-on pillow fight broke out between you and Jungkook, the thought of sharing a room with the male long gone from your mind.
You shut the door softly behind you, a satisfied "click" filling your ears. Smiling, you turned around and headed downstairs, only to walk into what seemed like a soft and squishy wall.
Letting out a confused "what", you glanced to see who it was that you had walked into. You were greeted with a familiar bright grin that you could recognise from anywhere.
The grin was the reason why you were here in Busan during your spring break, pretending to be Jungkook's girlfriend.
It belonged to none other than the person who is getting married to Jungkook's brother – Song Eun-ha.
Your face lit up with delight.
"Eun-ha unnie! Since when you did arrive? I miss you!" You questioned Eun-ha.
"Aigoo, my dongsaeng is so cute!" Come and give unnie a hug!" Eun-ha squealed, bringing you into a tight hug.
"Oof!"
Your face was practically smashed into her large bosoms, something that you were jealous about besides her good looks, kind personality, salary income...
Okay, maybe you were slightly jealous with everything that she had. Nonetheless, you still loved her.
"Unnie! I can't breathe!" Your voice came out muffled, your lungs being deprived of oxygen.
Eun-ha immediately released you, a concerned look on her face as you took in a deep breath, replenishing the air in your lungs. "Oh dear, I'm sorry! Do you need me to call Jungkook up to give you CPR?"

At the mentioned of "Jungkook" and "CPR", your face burst into a million shades of red. An image of Jungkook giving you a mouth-to-mouth CPR had left you hot and bothered.
"N-No thanks! I'm good!" You quickly replied, turning away from the woman so that she wouldn't see your red face.
Eun-ha couldn't help but giggle at your cuteness. "Aigoo, there's no need to feel embarrassed."
You ignored Jin's fiancée and quickly changed the subject. "Since you're here, I'm gonna assume Jin-oppa is here as well?"
It worked because Eun-ha's eyes lit up at the mention of her fiancé, nodding her head. "We actually arrived not too long ago. Jin's currently downstairs with Jungkook and their friends which reminds me you've still yet to meet them. Let's go!"
She grabbed you by the wrist and dragged you down the stairs. Your other hand immediately reached for the railing in fear of tripping and rolling down the stairs.
"Unnie, you're going too fast! Slow down!"
Eun-ha didn't listen, instead, she quickened her pace – eager to introduce you to Jin and Jungkook's close friends who have still yet to meet Jungkook's mysterious girlfriend that they have only heard about.
Your body was bent in half as you tried to keep up while attempting not to fall. Eun-ha came to an abrupt stop, causing you to walk straight into her back.
"Oof."
You took a step back, rubbing your sore nose. You really need to stop walking into people.
Eun-ha was unaware of your predicament as she grabbed you by the shoulders, bringing you forward so everyone could see you. "Guys look who I brought with me."
All seven heads turned towards you, five of which you didn't recognize. You could feel your hands getting clammy being under the spotlight with seven pairs of eyes staring at you intensely.
Eun-ha didn't seem to notice the discomfort that you were in, but Jungkook did and sent an encouraging smile your way. Your eyes met his and you felt yourself relaxing, the nerves leaving you.
Perks of having a best friend is that they know how you feel without being told.
"Eun-ha noona, who is this?"
Your gaze followed the voice of the owner, landing on a male with pink hair. He, like everyone else, was looking at you with curiosity – wondering who you were since they had never seen you before.
Jungkook rose from his seat and made his way towards you, standing by your side. He wrapped an arm around your waist and brought you closer, your side flushing against his body.
You couldn't help your cheeks from pinking at the action.
You felt Jungkook's lips on your forehead as he answered the pink-haired male's question. "She's my girlfriend."
Everyone's eyes widened in surprise, finally being able to place a face to Jungkook's mysterious girlfriend.
Bowing your head slightly, you introduced yourself in a shy voice. "Hello, my name's (full name). It's a pleasure to meet you."
"Aigoo, she's so cute!" An orange-haired male grinned brightly, causing your blush to deepen. "I'm Hoseok by the way, but you can call me Hobi!"
You smiled in response.
"So, you're Jungkook's girlfriend? I thought he was lying when he told us he had a girlfriend, guess I was wrong after all." came a monotone voice from your left side.
You jumped slightly at the unexpected voice, your head turning in the direction of the voice. A guy with black hair gave you a lazy smirk, his eyes droopy – giving him a sleepy expression. "I'm Yoongi. It's finally nice to meet the mystery girl."
"Jungkook-ah, I proud of you!"
You giggled when a male with silver-hair smacked Jungkook on the back, causing him to stumble forward from the impact. Jungkook could feel his back throbbing in pain as he turned to glare at the male. "Hyung, was that really necessary?"
The said male simply grinned in reply before turning his attention to you, sticking out a hand as he introduced himself. "Hello! My name's Taehyung but everyone calls me V!"
Smiling, you accepted Taehyung's hand, shaking it. "It's nice to meet you V."
"I'm Namjoon." The remaining person in the room introduced himself. "She's a pretty one. Make sure you treat her right, Jungkook."
Your best friend glanced down at you with a soft smile, saying. "Of course. After all, she deserves the best."
Even though you knew it was all an act, your heart still raced upon hearing those words. You gazed up at Jungkook from underneath your lashes, a shy smile on your face.
"Aww look at how cute they are!" Eun-ha squealed, burying her face into Seokjin's chest who chuckled, tightening his arm around his fiancée's shoulder.
"I should be the one saying that. Look at you and Jin-oppa." A teasing smile on your face.
Eun-ha stuck her tongue at you in response. Seokjin shook his head in amusement, kissing Eun-ha on the forehead. "You're already 26 and yet you still act like a child."
Eun-ha lifted her head off Seokjin's chest and smacked his chest, her eyes narrowed into a glare. "Yah! Says the one who threw a tantrum, refusing to eat his ice-cream unless there were rainbow sprinkles in it."
Seokjin winced in pain, rubbing his chest. "Hey, you can't blame me for acting that way. Everyone knows that ice-cream doesn't taste the same if there aren't rainbow sprinkles in it."
"That makes no sense whatsoever. It's just pure coloured sugar which by the way is bad for your health if you consume too much." Eun-ha argued.
"How dare you!" Seokjin gasped with horror. "That's it, I'm calling off the wedding. I can't be married to someone who doesn't appreciate rainbow sprinkles."
Eun-ha pulled Seokjin by the ear, threatening that she would chop off his balls if he calls off the wedding. The brown-haired male immediately apologized, fearful of his family jewel.
Taehyung and Jimin saw this as an opportunity to tease their hyung, calling him a wimp for giving in so easily. Everyone else laughed as Seokjin chased the duo around the living room, screaming about how disrespectful they were towards their elder.
You only just met this group of people, but you felt like you had known them for years instead. You leaned into Jungkook, a small smile on your face as you watched Taehyung and Jimin hugging one another with fear on their faces as Seokjin grinned at them evilly, trapping them in a corner.
Jungkook glanced down when he felt you leaning into his side, his lips curling into a smile when he saw your face glowing with happiness. He was glad that you were enjoying yourself in the presence of his friends, hoping that as time passed, you will come to call them your friends as well.
He tightened his arm around you, laying his head on yours, (h/c) locks tickling his nose as he inhaled your scent.
You knew that once the wedding was over, both you and Jungkook would go back to being just best friends. But for now, you shoved that thought to the back of your mind and stood in Jungkook's embrace, enjoying the moment.
You would leave that to the tomorrow you to worry about it instead.

The Everyday Life of A Pathfinder
Pathfinders are people who are respected and revered, not because of power or might, but because of knowledge of the world. They are the peacekeepers between humans and nature. Guiding humans through the most dangerous areas known to man and killing any species which attempts to throw off the balance of the natural world. This is their job - and their passion. *** Note: This story is going to have a few generic elements in it, like fantasy setting, guilds, cursing and stuff like that. A few (a lot) of things it won’t have is: Overly bloody descriptions, I don’t need to have enough buckets of gore to fill a ballroom for people to get that guy is defiantly dead; Rape, I don’t like it and it’s honestly painful writing that stuff; Harems, fuck harems; Overpowered MC, EVER; Game elements/ transported to another world, overused as shit; “I’m out for revenge”, no one cares; “My village was burned down and everyone died ;-;”, yeah you and the other 60% of the population; A lot of overly dramatic events, Drama has its time and place to be impactful, so you need to use it sparingly so when you do it’s special; “I’m going to stab you because I’m CrAZy, I believe that everyone has a reason for what they do, sometimes the reason is because they’re fucking insane, but I’m still not going to write things like that; Generic fantasy creatures, I’m tired of hearing about the fucking mystical dragons or the god damn slimes, so I’m going to create my own monster. Also feel free to roast. I don't get offended easily and it's honestly one of the best ways to increase writing abilites.

Conquest Of Mortem
*NOTE* This novel is a war of attrition. To say anything less is a disservice to its demand. While comparable to other such works as Ulysses or Moby Dick, each sentence in Conquest is an enemy to be tackled. Not in the ways of difficulty but in absurd density that wishes nothing more than to destroy what patience you may have. Do not tackle chapters as you would ordinary chapters in an ordinary book. Tackle each chapter as a book unto itself. A foe to be vanquished, a period of life to leave behind. Seek to be master of this work. Seek to overcome. For in its design is the willpower, and the perseverance, and the strength of someone who sought meaning in struggle. As I discovered these in times of ultimate desperation, so I hope for you to discover these things. This novel is a love letter to your trials. May you overcome them. May you master them. May you become conquerer.- SeedSagaA literary epic for logophiles, philosophers, and poets alike. A journey into zeitgeist, the impact of media on culture, and the endurance of morality against an onslaught of hatred. These vague descriptions do little to compact Conquest's density into a bite-size summary. They do however relate the basest themes found within. A plot, if such can be surmised, is strung thinly across multiple perspectives, weaving together these concepts into a seemingly distorted tapestry of indecipherable events. Inspired by early 20th century modernism, Conquest will challenge the reader, and provide critique on the medium upon which all great stories are derived. Further interpretation is up to you now; an explorer among a sea of words. Venture on and discover what lies ahead, in...CONQUEST OF MORTEM
