《Hotshot? ~{Tomboo}~》~{Chapter 26}~

I took a deep breath, "He was talking about how I told him I liked him, the other day when you left us on the stands together. But, I hadn't said that. I had just rambled on about my crush and told him his name began with a 'T'. He got the wrong idea....and so he made the move and kissed me. I leaned away, but there isn't really any where to go when your in there. I tried explaining to him, but he wouldn't listen to me. He kept interrupting me and kissing me, so I kept having to push him off.....I don't like Tubbo at all. And while you were in the closet...he tried asking me out...,but I rejected him- and don't worry, I was kind about it."
He put his arms around my neck, "She was a terrible kisser."
I chuckled, "So was that other girl."
"And Tubbo?" He asked.
"I don't wanna diss your friend, but...I know someone who does it way better." I smiled and grabbed his waist.
"Oh yeah?" He asked then added, "Me too."
"Who's that?" I asked.
"Some nobody..." he giggled.
I gently leaned him against the wall, "Really?"
He shrugged, "....Yep, some random girl."
I scoffed, "Last time I checked, I was a guy."
He grabbed the hem of my jeans, "I'd like to check."
I blushed bright red, "Not here Tommy...."
He laughed, "Hurry up and kiss me."
I kissed him and he kissed back. I put my hand up his shirt and bit his lip. He moaned and parted his lips. He let my tounge in and his hands went up to my hair. I gently rubbed his side making him wince.
He pulled away for a breath and I was gonna kiss his neck....,but there was lipstick and it sorta killed my mood.
"You taste like beer...." he said and wiped his mouth.
"Sorry.....,but you've got lipstick all over you." I chuckled.
He patted my chest, "Move."
I moved away and he held my hand, "I'm gonna go home."
"You wanna come over?..." I asked.

He blushed, "Uhm...you sure?"
"Yeah." I smiled.
"Okay...sure." He smiled.
I kissed his hand, "Let's go then."
We began walking and he asked, "Jow many times did Tubbo kiss you?"
I sighed, "Like-....a lot- maybe four?"
He grabbed my arm, "Your gonna kiss me more than that."
I blushed brightly, "You got it."
We'd just got back to my house. Tommy had already asked to stay over and he got a yes. My dad was fine with it too.
We walked in and I locked the door behind us. He wandered down the hall and then into my room. I followed and then he kicked off his shoes and layed down on my bed.
"You should really shower." I chuckled.
He groaned and got up, "Fine....give me clothes."
I went to my dresser and got him a shirt and sweats. He took them and I led him to the bathroom.
"You'll be okay?" I asked.
He rolled his eyes, "Yeah."
"Y'know, I'm gonna shower after you....,but we could save some water an-"
"Ranboo! That's disgusting!" He yelled and pushed me out of the bathroom, "Now go."
I leaned in to kiss him, but he pulled away, "You need to shower and brush those teeth before you kiss me again."
I blushed and he closed the door.
I walked back to my room and waited for him to be done. While I was waiting Tommy's phone rang. I didn't think I should answer it, but I didnt want to decline it. So I silenced the ringer, but checked the contact name, 'Tubs'
I frowned, I hope Tommmy doesn't distance himself from me because of Tubbo.
I sighed and went on my phone.
A couple minutes later Tommy walked in with wet hair and finally clean.
I stood up and walked over to him. He put a hand up, "Go shower, then you can hug me."
I rolled my eyes and grabbed some clothes, then he noticed the shirt I was wearing.
"Hey....this is my Lovejoy shirt." He smiled grabbing it.
I chuckled, "Yeah...you gave it to me and I like it a lot."

"You listen to my brothers band?" He asked eyes wide.
"Uh, what?" I asked confused.
"Lovejoy is the name of his band. That's sorta his job, that's why he's almost always home." He said.
"Wow, how awesome. But which brother?" I asked curious.
"Will." He replied.
I nodded, "That's cool, I should listen to his music sometime, huh?"
"Mhmm, now go." He said.
I rolled my eyes and left to the bathroom.
Once I'd come out I brushed my teeth and rinced my mouth. Then I went to my room and saw Tommy already under my covers.
I chuckled and then went over. I got in the bed with him and he opened his eyes, "Hi."
"Hello." I smiled.
He messed up my wet hair, "Your so pretty, when your nice and clean."
I laughed, "Your pretty, when your clean too."
He blushed, "Thankyou."
"Mhmm." I hummed and leaned closer to his face. I scooted closer to him too and I felt his leg....it was bare.
I blushed, "Tommy! Where's your pants!?"
He blushed, "I always do this."
I sighed, "Oh thats right,...you just startled me."
He smiled, "Why? You want me unclo-"
"Tommy. No." I said, my face heating up.
He giggled, "I'm kidding...just teasing you."
"Can you stop teasing me and kiss me?" I said biting my lip.
He winced, "Mmm, why don't you kiss me?"
I rolled my eyes and pulled him in for a kiss. He kissed back and wrapped his arms around my neck. I got ontop of him and we sorta....made out.
I was going back in, but he put a hand to my chest, "No more babe."
I blushed at what'd he'd called me and nodded, "Mkay...I just wanna kiss you."
He moved his hand and then I began kissing his jawline and then down his neck and across his collar bone.
"Mkay, that's enough." He whined biting his lip.
I stopped and moved to lay beside him. I kissed his nose, "Tommy will you go out with me?"
He blushed, "Ranboo...we talked about th-"
"Isn't it different now?" I asked.
He sighed and shook his head, "No it's not. I still need to talk to Tubbo about it...."
I frowned, "Kay."
"I'm sorry..." he mumbled.
"Its fine." I sighed.
"Ranboo....I still want be friends." He smiled softly.
"Yeah ofcourse." I smiled and then cleared my throat, "I'm gonna go to sleep now."
He nodded, "Mkay-"
"Goodnight Tommy." I said and turned around facing the other way.
"Oh!...uhm- N- Night....." he mumbled.
I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep. I couldn't though. All I could think about was how I was just rejected for the third time by the same person.
Maybe I really should just.....give it up already.
I'm fooling myself, thinking I can get him to confess that he likes me when-
He doesn't even like me.
Maybe I shouldn't read to much into things.
....Tubbo did it and he had his heart broken.
So perhaps it's better if I don't let myself fall for him...that way I can protect myslef from being hurt.
Yeah.
Tommy shifted in bed. I felt his arm wrap around me and his head lean against my back, "Goodnight gorgeous....I'm sorry I can't tell you I like you. But I need to sort things out before I confess...sleep tight."
I blushed brightly and my face heated up, but I made sure to keep my eyes closed.
Scratch everything I just said!
He likes me!
I knew it!
I smiled to myself overjoyed.
He hugged me tightly and kissed my cheek. I tried not to react, as my face slowly turned bright red. Thankfully I was facing the other way, so he couldn't see and notice that I was actually awake.
Tomorrow is Monday. Which means we have school. And during lunch I plan to take the opportunity to talk with Tubbo. I'm gonna apologize and tell him about how I feel for Ranboo.
.....And hopefully he'll understand.
Then we can still be best friends.
And maybe....just maybe...Ranboo will ask me out again.
And this time....I'll speak my truth.

NEWDIE STEADSLAW Part I
NEWDIE STEADSLAW is a randomized array of Chekhov's red herrings, non sequitors ex machina, run-on sentences, and em dashes—so many em dashes. It's like if the Bible and Shakespeare had a baby that they surrendered to foster care, then it got adopted by Alice in Wonderland and Dr. Seuss—the books, not the people—and then the baby fell down the stairs. In this metaphor, the stairs wrote the story. Part I is the tale of the adventures of Traycup and Roby as they try to hold down a job inside the hollow Earth—a place made possible thanks to the secret science of embargoed relativity—and they get distracted by dancing foxes, a giant's record collection, and something with a train, I think. It's a work of fiction—although to call it work seems insulting to, y'know, actual work—but the fiction label is apt, so, y'know, that's a win. Half the words are made up, and the other half are embarrassed to be seen with them. Part I is complete.

Fortuna Verto
A girl’s luck changes when her world changes upon itself, sending her back and forth between a world she knows and another that shouldn’t even exist. Working with her parallel self from that other world, the two must adjust to their alternate form when visiting the other’s world, as they search for a way to escape the chains of misfortune they are bound to. While this story is the conclusion of the trilogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, as the world of Celese itself is no longer a place the characters will be journeying through. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for all previous books, in case that matters to anyone. This book has an additional chapter after the final chapter that represents the trilogy conclusion, and should not be read until all three books are read first. Fortuna Verto continues the events of Essentia Animus to advance society into a sci-fi interpretation of Celese, bringing events to a distant world of another star. At the same time, events interpret a real-world advancement into a similar sci-fi age of another planet that shares Earth’s galaxy, a planet that has also been linked by the Celesi Veil. English remains predominant in both worlds of the story, but the presence of both sides makes certain Aethyx terms stand out, while Earth-styled scientific terms will also stand in a powerful contrast. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.
