《Hotshot? ~{Tomboo}~》~{Chapter 22}~

I lay in bed at home. All I could think about was how Tommy kept rejecting me. And all for Tubbo, who I don't even like.
I was worried about Tommy. After what happened yesterday, I'm scared he'll need someone there for him. Because of that I think he was starting to trust me. And I wanted to be there for him if he still felt overwhelmed over it all. I hoped he wouldn't distance himself from me too much now. We had just gotten more touchy and affectionate and I liked that.
....
I loved when he wore my jacket. He looked adorable...and it made us look like we were dating. Like he was mine. I remembered the pictures my dad would show me of him and my other dad, which I called Gogy. He'd always been wearing dad's lettermans jacket in the old high school photos.
I miss him.
He'd passed 4 years ago when I was 12. It was hard for me....and it really affected my dad's mental health. It was difficult without him.
He was a really good cook. He liked dancing and he loved me and my dad.
When Tommy had broughten up my 'mom' at dinner the other night....I couldn't help, but remember him. I thought about the old pictures and...thats why I let Tommy wear my jacket the next morning when he'd asked me.
I really do like Tommy.
I wasn't gonna focus on my feelings right now. Eventually they'd all pour out and explode, but I wasn't gonna have that happen right now. So I bottled them up and tried focusing else where.
For some reason my mind kept drifting to last night....Jay.
I can't stop replaying the whole scene over and over again. Its like I keep going through it over and over and it sucks. I hate it. I hate him. Honestly I wish Ranboo was here....he'd get my mind off of it so easily. He'd hold me and tell me not to worry. He'd kiss my head and cheeks and make sure I felt comfortable and safe.

...
I decided to text Erica.
I pulled out my phone and was about to click on her message but.....I didn't want to talk to her anymore.
I put my phone away and sighed, "Maybe I'd be having more fun if Ranboo was here."
I groaned, Dumbass. Stop thinking about him.
I got up and left my room, going into the hall. I went to Wilbur's room door and knocked on it.
"Hurry up and get in here Techno or I'm gonna start!" He yelled.
I walked in to see him sitting on his couch with a controller in his hand. There was a video game on the TV, Super Smash Bros.
I laughed, "We're you guys gonna play video games or something?"
"Oh Tommy! Uhm, yeah....would you like to stick around and join in? It's been a while, y'know?" He asked smiling.
I smiled and nodded, "Yes please, I'd love to. Infact, I've missed it."
"Alright, you can take over for Techno while we wait." He said reaching out the controller towards me and motioning me over to the couch.
I walked over and took the control. Then I sat down beside him on the couch and we started to choses our characters. Once we'd chosen, we began to play.
Mid way through our match Techno walked in, "Sorry Will I- Oh hey Tommy, what brought you here?"
I only half payed attention to Techno. For I was more focused on kicking Wilbur's ass in Super Smash. I replied, "I was just bored, so I figured I'd hang with you two dorks for a while."
Techno walked over to us and sat down on the couch, but the other side of me, "Cool. Now I can destroy you and Will in Super Smash Bros."

I rolled my eyes and then Wilbur asked Techno, "What took you so long, anyway?"
"A couple students emailed me with questions, so I had to respond." He explained.
Wilbur nodded and then he won the game- by pure luck, might I add- and cheered, "Loser!"
I groaned, "Meanie."
Techno laughed, "Give the control up loser."
I frowned and then gave up the control to Techno.
"What happened to Ranboo?" Wilbur asked me.
I blushed then sighed, "Uhm....he just wanted to go home."
Techno scoffed, "Yeah right. I'm sure he wanted to zpend the whole day with you. But you made him go home."
"Why's that?" Will asked me as they started to pick their characters.
I shrugged, "I just didn't want to get attached or catch real feelings, I guess."
Techno rolled his eyes, "You already caught feelings- That much is obvious."
"So what're you really afraid of Tommy?" Wilbur asked as they now began their match.
They started clicking away at the buttons on the controllers. I replied, "Uh...nothing actually....I guess I'm just not looking to be in a relationship right now."
Techno nodded, "Understandable."
Will agreed, "Yeah, but when you are ready...Ranboo isn't a bad pick."
I chuckled, "I'll pass."
"Why?" Techno asked.
"I have my reasons...." I frowned.
"Well don't take too long to figure everything out Tommy. Cause he won't wait around forever. And you might find yourself in a situation where he's moved on and you've just barely figured everything out....So don't waist your shot. You've got a popular football player with a 4.0 grade average thats head over heels for you. So just...think on it." Techno said while still performing perfectly against Wilbur.
I nodded and really soaked in everything the two were telling me.
...
'Ranboo isn't a bad pick.'
...
'Don't waiste your shot.'
...
Perhaps I should give it more thought after all? Maybe it would be okay if for once in my life....I'd be selfish and not put others ahead of me?
But it's Tubbo.
I sighed, "I'll think about it."
Will smiled, "Good, and don't rush yoursel- God damit! Give me a rematch!" Wilbur yelled.
Techno laughed, "Give the controller up loser."
Wilbur huffed and handed me the control, "Your never gonna give up the control!" He yelled at Techno.
"Beat me once and I will." Techno smirked.
I laughed along with Techno and Wilbur rolled his eyes.
I love my brothers.
Thank god I can go to them for things like this.

Beneath No Sky: Chronicles of the Atmospheric Sector
After bringing themselves back from the brink of annihilation, humanity's future seemed bleak. However, it's remnants, throwing aside the old order and donning a new mantle of progress aimed to rise above their ancient disputes and go forward as one. Once the Earth reached it's natural limit, and colonies around Terra and Luna had shown promising results, humanity finally decided to make the move to the stars. Believing this to be the start of a new age, they eagerly poured across the solar system and further beyond, greeting what space had to offer with hope and optimism. It was misplaced, however, for humanity's traditional quarrels soon resurfaced and engulfed a now interplanetary empire of many races. As the Earth Empire burned and an intense depression overtook the once optimistic people, some held out hope. They theorized that their problems were born of an inherent sense of home and, in order to rid humanity, now comprising of the Terrans as well as all the other known species of the galaxy, of this burden, decided to move far away from civilized space, into uncharted depths, to start anew. Some 200 years have passed since then, and those hopeful ones have finally found a place to settle on. Firmly planting their flag in paradise, they called this untouched land "Eden" and declared the beginning of a true new age, the age of After Eden.Trouble, however, seemed to still be hounding them, as barely three years after its founding, Eden finds itself at war with a seemingly uncommunicative and uncompromising enemy that far outclasses the odd pirates they were used to facing. A new era of peace, marked by an immediate conflict. Time will tell if Eden, the Grand Experiment, truly is as great as it's supposed to be. ---------------------------------------- This is a sci-fi, character driven, military space drama.
