《Hotshot? ~{Tomboo}~》~{Chapter 14}~

I walked back to my room where Tommy was, "Do you need a ride home?"
"Oh! Uh-....it's sorta late so uhm- yeah." He smiled.
I sat down close next to him, "Y'know...you could stay if you'd like."
He blushed, "Well if it's an inconvenience I guess I could stay."
"Good." I smiled and kissed his cheek.
He pushed me away, "Ranboo!"
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever."
I stood up and left back to the kitchen.
"Dad?" I asked.
"Yes, he can stay." My father answered and then added, "But he's gonna have to sleep on the couch, floor, or your bed."
"Kay." I replied and went back to my room.
Tommy was on his phone, "Who are you texting?"
"My brother. I'm letting him know that I'm gonna stay here." He said as he did so.
I nodded, "Kay, so would you like to sleep in my bed? I can sleep out on the couch."
He blushed and put away his phone, "I don't want to take your bed, I can sleep on the couch."
"Well, your the guest so it's only right." I insisted.
He frowned, "Do you have to sleep on the couch?"
I sighed, "I could sleep on the floor...."
"In here?" He asked.
"Mhmm." I hummed.
"Mkay." He smiled.
I began to set up and then I saw him get under my blankets. He yawned and hugged one of my stuffed animals to his face.
It was black and white with green and red eyes. My other dad had got it for me when I was younger....it wore a gold crown on its head and it had a fluffy tail. It was my favorite stuffed animal.
"Jealous?" He giggled.
I blushed, "Yeah....I'd love to be that stuffed animal."

"You can be." He smiled.
I didn't hesitate to get under the blanket with him. He put the stuffed animal to the side and hugged my torso. He layed his head on my chest and tangled his legs with mine, "Goodnight Ranboo."
I kissed his head, "Goodnight Tommy."
He blushed and yawned. Then he dozed off asleep in my arms.
There was a quiet knock at my door. My dad came on and saw me with Tommy. He smiled, "Goodnight Mark."
"Night dad." I smiled and he turned the light off. He walked out and slowly closed the door behind him.
I ran my fingers slowly and gently through Tommy's hair and with my other hand I hugged his waist.
Eventually I fell asleep too.
I woke up hugging Ranboo. I blushed and pulled away, sitting up. I tried moving over him to get out of bed, but he just pulled me back down.
"Well goodmorning." I rolled my eyes.
He chuckled, "Morning."
"Now let me go." I said and he did as told.
I stood up and stretched, "Ranboo?"
"Yes?"
"I slept in these uncomfortable khakis." I frowned.
He laughed, "I'm sorry about that, would you like to borrow some clothes?"
I nodded and he got up. His shirt had lifted and he pulled it down. I tried not to think about his abs as he looked for clothes I could wear.
He gave me a plain black tee shirt and a pair of jeans, "Will that do?"
"Mhmm." I hummed and took the clothes.
I began to unbuckle my pants and he grabbed my hand, "Tommy!"
"What?" I asked.
"What're you doing?" He asked totally freaked out.
"I'm changing?" I said confused.
"Go change in the bathroom." He said moving me out.
I scoffed, "Like you care if I change right infront of you. I'm not getting naked, I'm just changing my clothes."

He blushed brightly, "Tommy I have a huge crush on you and I'll die if I see you shirtless or pantless."
I giggled, "Fine, fine."
I went to change in the restroom and when I came back he was already dressed too. He had his special football letterman jacket on that he always wore.
"I'm kinda cold." I smiled.
He raised an eyebrow, "Okay....do you need a sweater?" I shook my head and he asked, "A hoodie?" I shook my head again and he asked, "A hug?"
I rolled my eyes, "No you big dummy, give me your jacket."
He blushed, "My....lettermans jacket?"
I nodded, "Mhmm. I like it."
He took It off and handed it to me. I put it on and he took out his phone. He took a picture and set it as his lock screen.
"Ranboo!" I yelled.
He chuckled, "What?! Your adorable!"
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever."
He smiled, "Y'know only the athlete and significant others wear the letterman jackets."
I blushed, "Shut up!"
He stepped closer to me and hugged my waist, "It looks great on you. I think you should keep it and wear it everyday. That way people know we're together and that your mine."
"You better shut up, otherwise I'm taking it off." I said pulling away from him.
He chuckled and grabbed a hoodie, "Its gonna be so wierd not wearing it."
"Haven't your past girlfriends worn it?" I asked.
"Nope. No one but me has worn it.....so this is saying a lot." He smiled.
I blushed, "Cool."
"Cool? That's all you have to say?" He scoffed.
I shrugged, "I'm only wearing it cause I'm cold."
He shook his head, "Yeah right."
We walked out to the kitchen and he said his dad had already left to work.
"You hungry Tommy?" He asked.
"No, I'm okay." I replied.
He handed me a fruit, "Eat."
We ate some fruit and afterwards we grabbed our stuff. Then we headed for the bus stop.
He grabbed my hand, "Y'know people are gonna get the wrong idea."
I furrowed my brows confused, "What do you mean?"
He sighed, "We're holding hands....Your wearing my clothes, but more specifically my jacket...and we're about to be picked up together at the same stop."
I flushed pink, "Let them think what they want."
He laughed, "So will you sit with me on the bus?"
"No way, Hotshot." I rolled my eyes.
He huffed, "What? C'mon!"
I giggled, "Your lucky it's chilly."
He scoffed, "You love my jacket, I already know."
I shook my head, "Nope."
He shrugged, "Oh well. At least no girls will try and flirt with you."
I rolled my eyes, "Shut up."
"I wonder what your girlfriend will think." He smirked.
I giggled again, "Ranboo?"
"Yeah?" He asked.
We had just crossed the train tracks.
I laughed, "I don't have a girlfriend! I was lying!"
He blushed brightly, "Tommy! What?!"
"I said that so you would back off." I sighed trying to calm my laughter.
He scoffed, "As if that of worked."
I rolled my eyes again, "It didn't, but whatever."
Ranboo smiled happily, "Now I have you all to myself."
"I'm not yours." I said.
He rolled his eyes, "Keep saying that."
We arrived at the bus stop a little early.
And as I the school bus began to come into view I felt guilt instantly rush over me....
Tubbo.

Wildling
Blurb: Silas--a scavenger living off the ruins of humanity--has spent his entire life fighting tooth and nail to provide for himself and his crew. But when a scavenging run goes awry and he's snatched up by an android patrol, he finds himself thrown into a cage and priced to sell as a pet. And when a suitor comes calling, he fears the worst: that he'll be turned into a Domestic, a human lapdog brainwashed into total obedience. Instead, he discovers an equally disturbing truth: that the creatures who stole his world have created a videogame the likes of which Earth has never seen; a sprawling, game-like theme park where humans are the Avatars and androids are the players who control them. And to make matters worse, his android guide is as hopeless as they come, having gotten all of her previous Avatars killed in record time. So if Silas wants to regain his freedom, he'll not only have to fight his way through a world that was specifically designed to murder him in brutal fashion--he'll also have to convince his android guide that he should be the one calling the shots. FAQS: Q: Who are you, handsome stranger? A: I'm Kyle Kirrin, the author of Shadeslinger, book 1 of The Ripple System, published by Portal Books, and I write crunchy LitRPG. Q: What is Wildling? And is it complete? A: Wildling is a crunchy LitRPG mash up of Fantasy and Science Fiction. And yup, Wildling is already complete at 64 chapters, or about 120,000 thousand words. You're looking at something like a third draft here--it's fairly polished, but it hasn't been picked over by a copy editor yet nor has my developmental editor seen it. Q: Upload schedule? A: 5 initial chapters today (2/15/2021) and one chapter a day for the next month. After that I'll probably slow down to 2 or 3 chapters a week until the story is complete. Q: How crunchy is it? A: It's pretty crunchy. I'd put it on the same tier as Ascend/The Land/RSSG, but it might be a bit crunchier than those three? Q: Is this the first book in a series or a web novel or what? And what are your plans for it? A: It's currently a standalone with series potential. Full disclosure: this story may head the way of my publisher eventually, but will be available on RR for quite a while no matter what. Likely several months after it's complete with plenty of warning before/if it's taken down. Q: What kind of build does the MC create? A: Sword and board! Q: Crafting? A: Plenty! Crafting isn't as center stage as it is in The Way of the Shaman, but it's close. Q: Base building? A: Two fully separate, distinct bases, both of which play a major role in the story. Q: VRMMO? Portal? Reincarnation or what? A: This one's a bit tricky. Basically an advanced race has created a game-like world that closely resembles a theme park. Think Westworld but with copious amounts of loot. And the MC has to fight his way through that to earn his freedom. Q: Permadeath? A: Nope! The MC gets 3 lives to play through the entirety of the game world, and death is extremely punishing, but not fatal. Q: Harem? Or romance? A: No and no. Q: Cursing? Blood? A: Quite a bit of cursing, yeah. There's blood, too, but it's not a gory book by any means. Q: How can I support? A: Instead of a Patreon/donations etc, I'd ask that you consider giving my debut LitRPG Shadeslinger a chance. It's free on Kindle Unlimited and the audio is already out narrated by Travis Baldree. It's an epic fantasy VRMMO where the main character gets 3 days of exclusive access to a new game plus a snarky, talking axe to guide him through it in exchange for agreeing to become the target of a serverwide manhunt once the Head Start period ends. Q: How's it similar to Wildling? And how's it different? A. The crunch level is very similar, but Shadeslinger is a much lighter, epic fantasy take on the genre. It's also VRMMO, but without any real world components aside from the first chapter. The MC is very different--he comes off as a bit of a jerk early on and can take a bit to warm up to, especially before his backstory is revealed--but he's also got a talking axe that constantly puts him in his place. Shadeslinger's a much more humorous story in general, and it's a great deal more polished as well. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy Wildling!
