《Hotshot? ~{Tomboo}~》~{Chapter 13}~

I got out of the shower and wrapped the towel around my hips. I was just about to walk out and to my room, but Tommy is in there.
"Dad! Can you get me clothes!?" I yelled loud enough for him to hear me.
"Yeah!" He yelled.
I sighed, "Thank god."
I heard Ranboo yell something, but I couldn't tell exactly what.
Then his dad walked in and I sat up, "Hello."
"Hey Tommy. I was just gonna grab Mark some clothes." He smiled.
I laughed, "Oh! Did he forget?"
He chuckled, "It would appear so."
He went through the drawers and pulled out some clothes. I stood up, "I can give them to him."
He raised an eyebrow, "You sure?"
I nodded, "Mhmm."
He handed me the clothes, "Alright."
He led me to the bathroom, "Tell Mark to come to the table to eat afterwards, okay?"
"Ofcourse." I smiled.
He walked away and I knocked. Ranboo opened the door. Towel wrapped around his waist, bare chested and nice abs, "Thanks da-" He shut the door, "Tommy!?"
I blushed brightly, "I have your clothes."
"Just leave them on the floor." He sounded nervous.
"Don't you change infront of your teammates at practice?" I asked.
"That's different." He replied.
"Why?" I asked.
"Cause I don't have a crush on any of them." He said embarrassed.
I was confused, "So you rather them see you naked then your crush?"
"What?! No! It's just more embarrassing and nerve wracking when you do." He replied.
I giggled, "Fair enough."
I set his clothes down infront of the door and walked away to his room.
I sat down on his bed and pulled out my phone. I had a couple texts from Wilbur. Probably wondering where I was. I just ignored it for now and put my phone away.
Ranboo walked in wet hair, tight white tee shirt that faintly showed his abs, and black sweats, "You hungry?"
I flushed light pink, "Uhm yeah."
"What's wrong?" He asked and sat down beside me.
I cleared my throat, "Nothing."

He sighed, "Do you mind having dinner with my father?"
"No." I smiled.
He stretched his arms up in the air and his shirt lifted. I couldn't help, but look. I bit my lip and blushed brighter.
And ofcourse, he noticed, "Your staring."
I looked up at his face, "No I wasn't."
He chuckled, "Like what you see?"
I touched my lips.
He didn't even hesitate. He kissed me gently and I kissed back. When we pulled away I replied, "Yeah."
He smirked, "Y'know, I can show you it all if you just tell me you like me."
"Your hot. I like to have fun with you, but I don't like you." I said and stood up, "Now c'mon. Your dad must be waiting."
"Tommy?" He asked.
"Mhmm." I hummed.
"Don't you think its fair for me to touch you when we're in private?" He asked.
I blushed, "Ranboo!"
He shrugged, "What?! It's just a question."
I rolled my eyes, "Let's talk about this after we eat, yeah?"
He stood up smiling, "Kay."
We were not talking about that after we ate-
We walked out of the room and into the kitchen. There was a small round table with four chairs. I sat down and Tommy sat beside me.
My dad brought food to the table and then sat down beside me.
"Are we gonna wait for your mom?" Tommy asked.
I sharply inhaled, "Uh-...."
I teared up. I couldn't cry infront of Tommy- I ran to the restroom and locked myself inside. I quietly cried into my hands.
Ranboo ran off with watery eyes. I looked to his father, "Did I say something wrong?"
He cleared his throat, "No Tommy. But uhm- his mother- er well his other parent, was a guy. He has two dads....and uhm- my husband he uh.....is dead."
I got tense, "I- I didn't know! We only just began to get to know each other an-"
"It's alright....it's just a sensitive topic." The man smiled.
It seemed he was always smiling.....even though he wasn't exactly happy at the moment.
I stood up, "I'm gonna-"

"Mark will be fine. He just needs a little time to breath." He tried reassuring me.
"Oh, I'm not worried. I just...want to make sure he's okay." I said.
"That sounds the same as being worried." He chuckled.
I shrugged, "Well then I guess I am worried."
He smiled again and I walked off to the restroom.
I knocked on the door, "Ranboo? Can I come in please?"
I heard the door get unlocked and I opened it to see him wiping his face. I hugged him tightly, "I'm so sorry. I didn't know and I'm so very sorry if memories resurfaced- I just want to make sure your okay."
He chuckled, "Were you worried about me?"
I cupped his face, "Never."
He frowned, "Meanie."
I sighed, "But seriously....I'm sorry."
He smiled, "I really like you Tommy."
I blushed, "Stop it. Now let's go back."
He kissed me and I pulled away, "Ranboo!"
He chuckled, "I want to be all over you."
"Shut up!" I yelled and slapped his arm.
He grabbed my hand and kissed it, "Thanks for coming to check on me."
"Mhmm." He hummed, "Now let's go."
He held my hand and we walked back to the table. I let go of his hand and we sat back down.
"Are you okay Mark?" His dad asked him.
Ranboo blushed, "Dad! Don't call me that while he's here."
"Don't call you what?" He asked.
"My first name."
I giggled, "Why not? Its just your name."
"Yeah. Losen up Mark." His dad laughed.
I laughed too and Ranboo rolled his eyes.
We began to eat and then his dad asked me, "So Tommy. Do you have a girlfriend?"
"Yeah he does." Ranboo grumbled and glared at me.
I awkwardly laughed, "Yeah well....I don't really like her anymore."
Ranboo smiled, "Your gonna break up with her?!"
I laughed, "Stop sounding so eager."
He rolled his eyes, "The sooner your single, the sooner you'll be taken- by me."
I blushed, "I already told you. It's not gonna happen."
He scoffed, "But we just-"
"Ranboo!" I cut him off.
His father raised an eyebrow, "You just what?"
I glared at Ranboo as he replied, "Hugged."
His father nodded confused, "Well, moving on. Could you tell me a little about yourself, Tommy?"
Ranboo glared at him, "He doesn't ha-"
"I'm not sure there's much, but I have 2 older brothers and....uh- I dunno." I said nervously.
"How's home life?" He asked.
"Dad! Seriously?" Ranboo said upset.
"Uhm...hone life is good?" I replied confused.
Ranboo sighed, "His parents are wealthy. But Tommy isn't a snobby rich kid."
His dad nodded, "So your parents together?"
I nodded, "Yeah."
"Nice." He replied.
We ate in awkward silence.
"So...what do you like about Mark- er- Ranboo?" He asked randomly.
I awkwardly laughed, "Uh-"
"Dad he doesn't like me like that!" Ranboo said upset and uncomfortable.
"I know, I was just asking like- friend wise." His father shrugged.
"Uhm...it's complicated." I replied.
"What is?" He asked.
"Alright, that's enough questions." Ranboo sighed and grabbed my hand, "You done eating?"
"Uh-....yes?" I replied.
"Good. We're gonna go now, bye." Ranboo siad and stood up.
"Mark." His father said sternly.
"Yes dad?" He replied.
"Tommy go to Mark's room. I need to talk to him." He said only looking at Ranboo.
I nodded and let go of Ranboo's hand. I walked to his room and sat down on the bed, waiting for him.
Tommy left to my room. I sat back down, "Dad c'mon. He's the first person I've ever brought here, and you storm his with loads of questions?"
"Your falling for him pretty fast. The other girls you were with never came to the house. And I met them each once, briefly." He sighed, "You brought him here, so he must be important. I can't help but ask questions....I want to know why you like him so much."
"I understand."
"Good, now ask him I'd he needs a ride home." My father smiled.
I nodded, "Kay."

Note: Slight edits to early chapters (and removal of one chapter - previously chapter 2) have been made 2/2/21 The city, my city, had once been alive in a way that was hard to describe. Thriving, active, hopeful. Vibrant. But life, as I had come to learn, sometimes possesses only the most tenuous of grasps. Finally, in the end, it became my city - mine alone. I was, after all, the only one left. Worse, it was entirely my fault. There was red in my ledger that could never be wiped clean. Not while I still lived, anyway. This story follows Eran, a man who became the opposite of everything he had ever wanted to be; in a world where superpowers began to appear in a rare few, his lack of control over his own power relegated him to the role of a terrible villain - the Reaper, named so for the countless lives that he absorbed and made his own, each only furthering his deadly lack of control. Gone mad with guilt and isolation, he strove for a single heroic act - his own demise. Death was less permanent than he hoped. Centuries later, he woke to a changed world and in a body not his own. Unfortunately, his power came with him. Yet this time, things would be different. This time, he had a chance to bring it under control. He could never truly make up for the things he had done; he could never achieve redemption. That wouldn't stop him from trying to be a hero.
