I unlocked the door and welcomed Tommy in. He walked in and I locked the door behind us. I didn't want him to look around so I just led him to my room.
I heard my dad coming out from his room and quickly I shoved Tommy into the hall closet.
"Ranboo!" He yelled and fell. I closed him in and looked to my dad.
My dad yawned, "Hey Mark. Did you eat?"
"Yeah." I replied.
He smiled, "Good. Now who'd you shove into the closet just now?"
I sighed, "Its a guy...and I have a huge crush on him. So please be nice."
My dad chuckled, "A crush?! Let me see!"
"Dad!" I whisper yelled.
He laughed, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
"Ranboo!" Tommy yelled.
"Dad please don't be wierd." I pleaded.
He rolled his eyes, "Just open the door, I want to see him."
"Ranboo!" Tommy whined, "Come back!"
My dad giggled, "Go on. He misses you."
"Dad! I'm serious." I said.
"Ranboo! Let me out!" Tommy pleaded and hit the door.
"Just a moment Tommy." I said loudly for him to hear.
"Tommy? What a nice name." My dad smiled.
"I swear if y-"
"Ranboo!" Tommy complained again.
"I love that he calls you Ranboo and not Mark. It's adorable." He chuckled.
"Dad. He doesn't like me back....and I want you to know that, so that he doesn't feel uncomfortable. Okay?" I asked seriously.
"He doesn't like y-"
"Dad." I said seriously.
"Ranboo!" Tommy whined again, "Your mean! We're supposed to be hanging out!"
"I won't make him uncomfortable. Now go on." My father assured me.
I sighed and opened the door, "I'm sorry T-"
He slapped my face gently, but angry, "Don't you ever shove me again!"

I blushed, "T- Tommy....this is my dad."
Tommy smiled at my father, "Hello, nice to meet you."
"Hey. Nice to meet you too." My father smiled completely ignoring the fact he just slapped me.
"Just a sec, yeah?" Tommy asked.
"Ofcourse. Keep him in check." My father chuckled.
Tommy grabbed my face, "If you like me, treat me well. Don't hide me from your parents. And never trap me in a room alone again. Got it?"
"I wasn't hiding you!" I argued.
"Ranboo!" He yelled and I frowned. He brought my face close, "If you want me to like you, then don't argue with me."
I sighed, "I'm sorry Tommy."
He smiled, "Its okay, but seriously....that hurt."
I hugged his waist, "I didnt mean to push you so hard."
He wrapped his arms around my neck, "You need to be more gentle with me."
I smiled, "I will be....I just got nervous."
He cupped my face, "It's okay."
I leaned in and he put a finger to my lips, "Ranboo."
I blushed red, "I'm sorry."
He pulled away completely, "I forgot uhm- you were here, sorry."
My father chuckled, "No worries."
I was embarrassed, "Tommy can you wait in my room while I talk to my dad?"
"Mhmm." He hummed and grabbed my hand, "Will you show me your room?"
"Two doors down to the right." I said.
"Ranboo! Show me to your room!" He complained.
I blushed, "S- Sorry."
My dad chuckled, "I'll wait in the kitchen."
I walked with Tommy to my room. I opened the door and he walked in. I kissed his hand, "Wait for me here?"
"Ranboo?" He asked.
"Yes?"
"You need to stop being so touchy." He smiled.

"But you just-"
He giggled, "Its different when I do it."
I blushed, "I wish you did it more often."
He wrapped his hands around my neck, "Be good and I will...."
"I want to kiss you so badly." I bit my lip.
He blushed, "Ranboo...."
"I know." I sighed, "I'll be back."
He nodded and pulled away waving. I waved and left him in my room. I went to the kitchen where my dad was waiting.
"Doesn't like you back?" He asked.
I awkwardly laughed, "He says he doesn't."
"He speaks to you like you guys are already dating." He chuckled.
I shrugged and he asked, "Have you two ever kissed?"
I blushed, "Uhm....why?"
"Just a question." He smiled.
"No." I lied.
He nodded, "Huh....."
"So anything else before I go?" I asked.
"Yeah. Hurry up and shower, then bring him to the table for dinner. I know you didn't eat, and the poor boy must be starved." My father smiled.
I nodded, "Kay."
"Well go on then. He probably misses you." My father teased.
I laughed and went back to my room.
There was Tommy. Sat on my bed as he looked around. I cleared my throat and he poped up onto his feet, "I love your room."
I chuckled, "Why? It's a dump."
"It looks like an 8 year olds room. You have stuffed animals, football posters, and a dream board." He smiled.
I blushed, "Its kidish, I know. I'm gonna change it th-"
"Don't lie. I'm sure you love to keep all the memories around you...." he looked at me so softly, "Its adorable."
I blushed, "I thought you'd make fun of it."
He rolled his eyes, "Nah....I love it."
"I'm glad." I smiled.
He layed down in my bed, "Its comfy...come."
I blushed and moved over to lay in the bed.
"You love this don't you?" He giggled.
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever."
He smiled, "Your adorable."
I turned red, "Tommy....."
"I know what I said." He frowned, "But I can't stop myself."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
He cupped my face, "This atmosphere that I'm in with you....it makes me happy."
"Good." I smiled.
He frowned, "I've never felt like this before with you.....and I'm scared to lead you on."
"Don't worry about it."
"Am I acting differently?" He asked.
I got off the bed, "Yeah. Your not being blunt and rude. Your being kind and touchy."
He sighed, "I don't know why I'm acting like this...."
"It's okay Tommy. I like it." I smiled.
He got off my bed, "You should go shower."
I nodded, "Wait for me here. I'll be back in a bit."
"Mkay." He gave me a weak smile.
I left him in my room again and went to shower.
Usually I'm rude and distant. I don't let him touch me at all. I like when he does those things though....and I'm so confused.
I don't want to hate him anymore. And I don't. But I also don't want to like him, cause I'm afraid to get too close.
I know we've already made out and kissed before.....,but that wasn't thought through.
I just feel so comforted with him here.
I sighed and layed down on his bed, "Why did I even agree to come here?"
I groaned, "I'm such an idiot. I'll probably do something stupid."

Come and read what happens when a man from the modern world meets the medieval ages filled with beings he could only see before in his imaginations.----------------This is my first fiction that I wrote so I hope I am doing well. It starts slow as I need to explain about the world. It is flagged as many as I could as I have a lot of ideas that I could make this story go towards. Edit: There is a rewrite of this story known as Aliad - Tale of Zed which can be found through this link: www.royalroadl.com/fiction/1820

Short Stories: Character Ideas
Training writing by randomly creating characters stories without screwing up some full-fledged story that I may or may not write in the future. There is a main story here; however, as I'm still bad at writing, I decided to just put a small part of it here. Leaving the full story for another book. Also, please notice that every single chapter can and will be edited at any time I think I'm ready to enhance this book's quality.
