《Hotshot? ~{Tomboo}~》~{Chapter 3}~

As Tommy played with different chemicals in beakers, I leaned my head on my hand thinking to myself.
Rich.
I wish....,but no. I have a hard working parent who works late shifts just to keep a roof over my head. Someone who loves me and wants the best for me.
I'm not some snoby rich kid....
I don't think I'm better than anyone...
Why does this kid hate me so much?
I mean- he doesn't have to like me, it's just that I don't exactly like the fact that he hates me.....
"Oh shit!" Tommy laughed.
I looked over to him to see blue foam coming out of the beaker. I rolled my eyes, "You better clean that up."
"Shut up prick." He remarked, sticking out his tounge.
"Your such a child." I sighed.
He huffed, "Don't call me that!"
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever...Now, have you found out anything that can benefit our project?" I asked.
He shrugged, "I don't even know what the project is about."
I sighed, "Well if we can't get stuff done in here, we're gonna have to meet up outside of school to finish."
He rolled his eyes, "Alright fine. Lets go to your place."
I got nervous, "N- No....let's just go to your place..."
He raised an eyebrow, "What? House isn't as big as everyone says it is?"
No it's not.....
But that doesn't matter.
I sighed, "Tommy I have practice today."
"And? How does that concern me? And why would you think I care?" He asked with a snicker.
I shook my head, "Cause we need to meet up, but I can't until practice is over."
He shrugged, "Whatever, I guess I can wait then."
I smiled a little, "Thanks. And after we'll go to....your house?"

"Ughhh...I guess so." He complained.
I nodded, "Thanks."
He just rolled his eyes, "Shut up."
I sighed and shook my head, then refocused on the project.
The bell rang and Mr. Jacobs dismisses us. Tommy picked up his stuff and smiled, "Finally! Away from this dipshit!"
I frowned and clenched my fist, He makes me want to put my fist in his face.
I took a deep breath and saw Tommy run off. I walked out of the classroom and went to my locker.
"Hey man. How was Science?" My buddy Purpled asked. He had a locker right beside me.
"It was trash. We got partnered up by Mr. Jacobs." I said putting my Science book back and taking out my stuff for next period.
He chuckled, "Dam, so who'd you get?"
"Tommy." I replied locking my locker.
He burst out laughing, "Good luck with that bro! I heard that kids the biggest slacker ever. Not to mention he's kinda an asshole."
"He can't be that dumb, plus....I'm sure he's nicer if you get to know him. He is pretty popular so...must be somewhat likeable." I replied shrugging.
Purpled shook his head, "I dunno, man. See you at practice?"
I nodded, "Yeah. Later."
He waved and walked off. I walked to my class thinking.
I wonder if through this Science Project, I could get to know Tommy a little more. Maybe he'll stop hating me....and I'll stop wanting to beat him up.
I walked into my class and sat down.
"H- Hey..." The small brunette muttered as I sat down.
"Oh hey Tubbo." I smiled.
He smiled then looked back to his book.
Tubbo and I sat next to each other in this class because of assigned seating. I talked to him sometimes to ask about the homework and assignments sometimes.

Tubbo's friends with Tommy......,but Tubbo is so kind and smart. He's not a lot like Tommy and he doesn't seem to be as popular either- even though he hangs out with him and us just as rich. It's odd....,but perhaps I could learn more about Tommy through Tubbo.
"Tubbo?" I whispered.
"Mhmm?" He hummed with a smile.
"What's Tommy really like?" I asked.
He laughed, "Tommy?!"
I chcukled, "Yeah....he's.......intresting."
He laughed again, "That he is....he's also confusing and pretty complex."
I nodded, "How so?"
He raised an eyebrow, "Why the sudden intrest?....I mean you do know Tommy hates you...right?"
I put my hand to the back of my neck and awkwardly laughed, "Y- Yeah...it's just that- I'm going over to his house after school today a-"
"Your what?!" He asked loudly.
"Tubbo. Please watch your voice level during independent time." The history teacher, Mr. Slimecicle said.
"Sorry! My bad..." Tubbo replied then quietly asked, "So.....why?"
I sighed, "Well your in my Science...We got paired up, remember?"
He nodded, "Oh yeah....,but why are you going to his house?"
"We got nothing done..." I frowned.
He giggled, "Sounds like Tommy."
"So he really is a slacker?" I asked.
Tubbo shrugged, "I guess so- but it depends on how you see it...cause he rarely pays attention in class, but every time I go over to study with him and do homework- he can become laser focused. It's odd, but his brother is a professor at some fancy college so....y'know."
I smiled, "Wow...so he's smart?"
Tubbo thought for a second, "Hes...bright."
I nodded, "Intresting."
Tubbo nodded, "Yeah...."
"Well thanks." I smiled at him.
He blushed ever so lightly, "No problem. If you ever wanna talk- about not Tommy- I'm here."
I chuckled, "It's not like that- Tommy hates me. Plus, I'm pretty sure the dude is straight."
"Actually....he's bisexual- not that it matters to you though." Tubbo smiled.
I nodded, "Right."
We refocused on our work and I couldn't stop thinking about the blonde boy that hated me-
.....Maybe if I let him get to know me, he'll think I'm not so bad?
Yeah...plus- we're both popular-....we should be friends.
Or at the least...acquaintances?
School just got out. I packed up my things and Mr. Slimecicle dismissed us. I waved to Tubbo, "Bye!"
Tubbo waved smiling, "Bye Ranboo."
I rushed out the door and ran out of the building, then towards the football field. I ran up to Coach Nick, "Hey coach!"
"Hey Ranboo. Go get changed, yeah?" He said.
I nodded then went to the lockers and quickly changed.
As I came out and back onto the football field I saw Tommy along with Tubbo sitting on the stands. They were talking and laughing. Tommy seemed to be in a good mood. Maybe I should approach him.
I walked over to them and waved, "Hey Tommy!"
He rolled his eyes, "Uhm- hi?"
I smiled, "Didn't think you'd come."
"Piss off." He muttered.
I frowned and then Tubbo spoke, "Hey Ranboo!"
"Oh...Hey Tubbo." I said then I just walked away.
He won't even give me a chance...
As I looked back at them they were smiling and laughing again, just like that. I huffed and clenched my fist. I shook it off then went over to my teammates.

Author here (: This is my first time posting any of my works online, and I hope that you enjoy being welcomed into my world, as much as I enjoy creating it for you! I welcome any and all criticism, so long as it is actually something that can benefit my writing (not just random hating and nothing substantial). This story is edited by Nesryn and ArtemisArrow, my dear friends! The cover of this book is not my property, and if you are the actual owner of the image and would like me to take it down please PM me (: I am posting this to see if it generates any interest. If it does, then I will be planning on making more regular posts for chapters. I am intending this to be one book of a series, titled The Lost Royal. I intend to post, at this point, one chapter a week unless I get onto a roll! If this starts to accrue enough interest where I can start focusing solely on writing then more chapters will be released per week. Thanks for your interest, and I hope you enjoy!

Virtuous Sons: A Greco Roman Xianxia
Book one now available on Kindle. The saying goes that when a man is born the Fates weave his destiny and swaddle him in it. Then one day the man dies, and the swaddle becomes a shroud. Heaven moves on. It is audacity to question the Fates. Olympus is Olympus. The land of men is the land of men. To transgress that, to cross the line of divinity and scale Olympus Mons? To defy the Fates and cast off their threads? That is hubris. It’s a mark that every philosopher bears plainly on their soul.
