when i went back inside i saw Benny was getting ready. Like 'ready ready' as in a good outfit and everything. I walked up to his room and saw him doing a tiktok showing off his outfit so I decided to do something. Me being me I did something and kinda messed up the tiktok but whatever. "Hey you messed it up. I was trying to film a tiktok" he said and grabbed his phone and started looking for somthing or doing something I don't really have great eye sight. "Yeah yeah whatever" bruh i sounded like yeah-yeah what the hell. "I saw u and yeah-yeah outside. What's going on with you guys?" He said and wiggles his eyebrows. " nothing idiot I have my eyes on someone else don't worry" I said and winked at him then walked to my room to text Kaitlyn.

We ended up face timing. She was making brownies and I was backing well trying to bake cookies from scratch. In the end I think I did a pretty good job but we had to end the call since she had to go grocery shopping with her grandma sadly. But I understood. "Alright well I'll talk later oh and I'll swing by your house and drop off some cookies" I said and closed the cabinet. "Ohhh yesss and ill give you some brownies they're vegan by the way" she said and grabbed her phone to check a message from her grandma. "Yeah that's fine im always down to try new things" I said then we ended the call.

Now I have nothing to do. My mom came out her room from a shower and came to the kitchen in a robe. Nice. "Hey sweetie. Ohhh your making cookies ?" She said while smelling the air. "Yep and they should be done in a couple minutes so in the mean time let's chat" I said and sat down. She looked confused but sat down. "What's wrong did something happen?" She asked concerned. "No no I just wanted to talk about my job offer that's all" I said and looked at the cookies. "Oh ok uh yeah I think you should get it mija in fact if you do I'm gonna make Benny get one to. Also I'm very proud of you." She said and hugged me. Little did she know I was just partially doing it to hang out with animals and maybe Jordan but mainly puppies.

"Oh cookies are ready" I said as the ding went off. I went to grab them and took them out then set them to cool on the stove. I heard my mom on the phone talking but couldn't hear the whole conversation just my mom saying 'ok I'll be there in a bit' then I assume she hung up. "Hey everything ok ?" I asked. "Yeah I just got called into work I'm sorry mija but let's chat mañana ok" she said and kissed my head then waved at me as she left the door. Well that's just great now I'm home alone. Also she's a nurse so I guess I understand.

I was just chilling with Tiger watching a show on the couch when my other alarm went off. It was for me to take the cookies and apply for the job. I got up and Tiger got up to and followed me. She's so cute. I packed up the cookies in a tubal were. (I think that's how u spell it?) then I had to leave Tiger again sadly. "Alright bye Tiger I'll see you in a bit just have to run a couple errands you need more litter" I said and kissed her head and she rubbed on me then I left the house. I grabbed my skate board and stared skating to Kaitlyn's house.

On my way there I had to stop because a little girl was crying by her mom on the side walk. "Let's go Lilith your causing a scene come on" the lady said but the little girl just wouldn't stop having a tantrum. I went near her and gave her a cookie but obviously I asked her mom if I could which she said yes to and was very thankful. "Thank you so much" she said as the little girl I guess Lilith said by to me and walked away skipping with her cookie. Wow I am good with kids. I thought to myself but then remembered I have to go. I waved bye and skated away towards the little pet shot from last time.

I finally got in and picked up my skate board and set it at the entrance to be respectful. I walked up to the counter and saw the same old man reading a newspaper. "Hello" I said and stood there awkwardly.🧍‍♀️. He put down his paper and looked at me and smiled. "Hello there little lady-oh your the girl my grandson was talking about. I'm Gerald his grandfather I own this place and you are ?" He said but he knew who I was but not my name. Wait. Does that mean Jordan talks about me. Does that mean Jordan talks about me !? Then I remembered Greald is still here and I'm in public. Uh. "Oh I'm Sofia Rodriguez" I smiled at him.

We talked for a good 5 minutes and he told me he needed some help. "Oh do you think I could possibly try out for a job here?" I said kinda nervously. He thought for a second. "Are u good with people" he asked. "Yes" "Do you like animals and are you good with them to?" "Yes and yes" "Have you ever had a job before?" "Uh no but I promise I won't let you down" "hmmm do you know good math" "Yes im in advanced math classes" I said proudly. He looked convinced. "Alright your hired but you have to work everyday and you'll earn 10 bucks an hour for as many hours as you want I don't want to over stress or over work you" he said nicely. I nodded and thanked him and was about to leave when someone opened the door and bumped into me caused me to falling straight on my ass. 😀🔫

I looked up and saw a very worried Jordan. "Oh my god sof are-are you ok" he said and helped me up. I got up and we were still holding hands. "Yeah I'm fine don't worry about it" I said and let go noticing Gerald was looking at us smirking. 😀🔫 again. Awkward

We let go hands at the same time and just stood there a couple seconds. "We'll uhhh i got the job" I said with jazz hands as a joke. "Wow really ?! That's great" he said and gave me a hug. I hugged back but then we let go and then stepped outside to talk.

We talked for a bit until he asked me "So what's is the pan?" He asked and motioned to the pan in my hand. "Oh this it's cookies I made a fresh batch of them today. Want some?" I asked uncovering them. I could tell he was gonna refuse but then smelt them. "Uh sure if it's no trouble" he said . "It's not I swear Benny doesn't even eat the things I make" I said and handed him three cookies. "Thanks sof oh and can u come in tomorrow at 11:00 am I want to show you everything" he said and backed away when he noticed I dropped my skateboard. "We'll bye bye Jordan see you tomorrow" I said and waved at him.

"Later skater" he said and winked at me then walked back inside and I skated away. That's was fucking cute asf wtffff.

I made it to Kaitlyn's house and went inside and I stayed over until 8:56 pm and then got home fed Tiger then knocked out. Lowkey dreamt about Jordan.... Anyways.
