^thats my cat but that's also the kitten for later on!

The next day I woke up at 9:30 and did my morning routine. I really didn't wanna face Benny or anyone in fact besides Kaitlyn. So I walked downstairs and grabbed a green apple then walked straight out the door. But before I even walked out i texted her to be ready.

I went to her house and knocked on the door. An old lady answered. "Hello sweetheart what brings you here" she asked me with a really sweet smile. "Oh uh hello is uh Kaitlyn here" I knew the answer but just wanted to be polite and not just straight up ask for her daughter or granddaughter. "Oh yes she's in her room. Come come in darlin she's getting ready" she invited me in and I gladly walked inside. She showed me to her room and i knocked on it. "Sorry granny im just putting on my skates and I'll be out in a second !" She yelled through the door. I laughed a bit. "It's not granny" I said back. I heard he stumble a bit. But she finally opened the door.

"Hey uh sorry my room is a bit messy but let's go"she grabbed my arm and practically pulled me back down the hallway. I didn't complain though cuz she's the only person near a friend I had at the moment. "Bye granny ! And remember don't drink any coffee while I'm gone love you!" She said and kissed her grandma on the cheek then we exited the house.

We talked and skated to the park for only 5 minutes then we got there. When we entered there was only 3 other people there but you could tell they were what you call a 'poser'. I know what's about to happen. One they are either going to try and act hard infont of us to 'impress' us or two they will talk shit. Let's just say they chose option two. 🔫

"You guys can't do shit" the first guy said.

"Yeah girls can't skate fuckin posers" another kid said. Ugh fucking Chad istg. 🙄 they all laughed but like annoyingly. The third guy just gave us dirty looks. I was fed up and I could tell Kaitlyn was to. "You guys wanna bet" she said with sass. I like this side of her. They all rolled their eyes. "yeah sureee y'all can't do shit" he laughed at his 'joke'. "Alright then let's bet whoever can do the obstacle course and land the stair case wins and the winner gets to skate as long as they want. But loser has to leave the park andddd" I tried to think of something else but Kaitlyn said something. "Has to-CLEAN our skates" she said. I nodded at her. "Yeah so you guys want to bet or wanna be some pussies" I questioned with a fake sarcastic smile. They said bet and we started doing the course.

Kyle was the main guy of their group so it was me against him. He went first but of course he doesn't even know how to skate that good he kept saying "oh let me try again. Wait one more time" with his annoying ass voice.

"Alright it's my turn now" I went up to the beginning of the obstacle course and began skating. I did 2 flips in total and stuck the landing. Yes !

They all looked shocked as I skated towards back to them. "We'll get ready to clean cuz this baby need some love" I said giving them my skateboard. They all groaned but ended up cleaning Kaitlyn's and i's skates and and my bearings.

After that we skated and made jokes about all the shit those guys talked. And we started getting personal after an hour and I opened up to her. Idk it just felt like I could trust her a lot. And so did she. Her parents left her with her grandparents when she was only 2 years old beachside they didn't want a kid. And now she's been living with her grandma ever since. We are both the same age just that she's a few months older than me. We talked and skated for another hour until we finally took a break to go to the liquor and get something to snack on.

"So you're telling me that you might have a crush on your brothers enemy !?" She sounded so shocked. "NO-not a crush it's more like a liking to him- he he was my friend you know" I tried to play it cool and started playing with my straw to my slurpee. "Ohh I know you dooooo" she poked my shoulder in a playful way. "No not a crush a frieeennndd" I said friends longer. She made the 'mhm' face at me and laughed because my cheeks were red from embarrassment. "I'm telling the truth-but anyways yeah so he made us stop being friends and I haven't seen him in a couple of weeks so he's probably with another girl- not that I care or he probably doesn't even remember me or think of me- not that I think of him" I was talking fast and with my hands. She just laughed and stood up. "We'll i have to go home and give my granny her meds ill text you later we could FaceTime if you want"she suggested while tying her laces. "Yeah sure that sounds great" I smiled and we said our goodbyes.

I stayed on the bench a bit longer just scrolling on tiktok. I eventually got up and threw my trash away and walked home I didn't want to skate anymore. When I got home my moms car wasn't there which was weird since it's the weekend and she doesn't work on weekends. I unlocked the door and walked inside. "I'm home" I yelled out. No one answered which was weird since either Benny or mom answers me always. "Hellooo anyone home" I said loudly I wasn't scared just confused. No one answered. I walked towards Benny's room and it was closed. I was hesitating wether to open it or not. I decided to open it. I pushed it open and Benny and his friends popped out into the hallway with masks on and tried to scare me. But all I did was slap someone. "OUch ! She slapped me !" I heard someone say.

It was squints whoops. They all took their masks off and looked at me. "What you guys are the one who tried to scare me did u really think I wouldn't do anything" I questioned him. "We'll yeah just-not like that!" He said looking at me like I was crazy or something. "Whatever just next time-there be not be a next time......idiotas" (idiots in Spanish) I walked to my room and flipped onto my bed.

I was thinking of what to do when I heard a knock on the door. "Ugh go away Benny" I said loudly. They kept knocking to the point I got up. "Ugh que cueres benjamin I told you I wanted to be alone" I said and opened my door. But surprisingly it wasn't Benny but it was Scotty ? Yeah I think that was his name. "Oh uh i dont know what you said but uh im sorry for the guys and i we just wanted to scare you and Benny well he just uh honestly he's just trying to get you mad he's like that sometimes" he explained. Ugh he's no immature he has his friend talk to me. "We'll uh yeah its alright-oh and tell squints im sorry for ya know slapping him" I said and almost laughed but held it in. He nodded and walked away. I closed my door and got a text from Kaitlyn.

Im honestly super confused as to why she needs me but I still listened to her and grabbed an old blanket and walked out my room. "Where are you going" Benny asked from the couch. "None of your business. And don't send one of your friends to spy on me" I said and walked out the house. I grabbed my skateboard and skated to the park.

When I got there she was next to a bush. "Hey ! What are you doing what happened" I asked her getting off my skateboard and walking towards her. "shhh shhh look look" she pointed to something in the bush. I looked closer and there was a baby cat in there. "We can't leave it there all alone" she said. "We'll what should we do then" I asked while getting my phone out. "I can't take it my grandma wouldn't let me" she said sadly. "I could possibly take care of it for a while" I said but then a question came to my head. "Wait why were you even here again?" I asked her she seemed to tense up a bit. "I-uh well please don't get mad or anything but I came to meet a ... boy" she said looking at her shoes . "What why would I get mad" I was confused I would congratulate her if anything. "Well you see the boy who I came to meet is uh George. The guys friend you beat today. He talked to me and we exchanged numbers while you were skating so please please don't get mad at me" she said honestly. I looked at her with a smile "Kate you don't have to apologize for nothing it's ok but right now we need to get that baby bird" I motioned towards it. "Oh yeah right"

We ended up grabbing it and put it in the blanket. "So you'll take it home. Feed it and clean it then put it to sleep" she instructed me like she was my mom💀. "Yes ma'am" I saluted to her. We laughed and then left. I couldn't skate since I had a kitten in my hand so I had to walk home sadly.

When I got home Benny was watching a game with only Scotty and yeah-yeah. "Hey I'm back" I said walking towards the kitchen. "Where'd you go" Benny asked while looking at me. "Saved a baby cat"I said proudly. They all turned to face me. I lifted the blanket to show them and they came rushing towards me. "Wow that's a kitty where you find it" yeah-yeah asked me. "In a bush with Kaitlyn" I said lightly stroking the cat. "Who's that" Benny looked at me. "My new best friend" I said and started walking to my room. But then stopped. "Hey uh actually can you guys watch it for a bit I have to go get it formula front wheel market." I said walking back to them. They agreed and I went to the store skating.
