We made it to the field. "So where should we set up" I asked him as he was ahead of me by a couple steps. "This way there's a small hill behind the field" he lead me to a small hill you can kinda see a small view. We sat down and spread the snacks between us. "Ohh these are the bestttt" I said grabbing my favorite candy.

-Jordan's POV-

She grabbed her candy and looked so excited to eat it. To be honest she looked really cute. But I can't like her 1 she wouldn't like me back. 2 ive barely known her. 3 she deserves someone better than me. "What's wrong" she asked me when she noticed I was staring at the grass and fiddling with the grass. "Huh oh nothing just thinking" I said grabbing some chips. "About?" She asked curiously. "My game it's in a couple days and I'm a bit nervous" I said but I lied. "Oh don't be I'm sure your really good at baseball" she smiled at me before going back to eating a price of candy.

They kept on talking and messing around for a couple hours. They made a tiktok together since they had nothing else to do. (Idk whichever tiktok you want make it up) Sofia hasn't told Benny she had one or anything. "Aaaaand posted" Sofia said with a smile. "Great so what's your @?" He asked her. "Oh it's @sofia_rodriguez just my name" she said and waited for him to respond or something. He was stuck for a second thinking about her name.

-Jordan's POV-

I- did she just say Rodriguez? No cmon Jordan it's a common name probably. But what if. I was thinking to myself as Sofia started saying my name. "Jordan hello earth to Jordan" she waved her hand infrint of my face. "Oh uh do you have any siblings" I asked. She made a confused face at me. "Why" "Just wondering cuz your last name reminds me of someone. Uh do you happen to know anyone named Benjamin Rodriguez" I asked hoping I was wrong. Because that would just be another reason I wouldn't be able to like her. "Oh yeah he's my brother how'd you know" she asked oh no. "WHAT" was all I could manage out of my mouth. She was confused at my reaction. "What what's wrong" "No no we- uh uh we can't be friends" I said sternly. "What what do mean what are you talking about" she tried talking before I cut her off. "No he's my enemy-your his sister you guys are related and we can't be together-FRIENDS. We can't be friends" I said getting up and looking down at her. She had a hurt look on herself. I felt bad but that's a Rodriguez. "what" she said softly i could tell I hurt her feelings. "Just because he's brother means we can't be friends?" She asked in disbelief and hurts. "yes" I said. "Wow you don't even-your-your fucked up phillips" she said getting up and grabbing her board walking away. "And don't talk to me ever again" she said well yelled in order for me to hear. Great. Well she wasn't even all that anyways. I tried to say to myself even though deep down she was perfect.

-Sofia's POV-

what the actual fuck just happen. I was teething everything to myself in disbelief. I thought he was different what happened. I was skating back home with my phone out when a girl popped out of nowhere. "Look there she is there's the bitch" she said. Uh what?. I made a weird face at her. But then two more girls popped out of the corner. "She's the one that was with him I swear Becca" she said to a girl with blonde hair. "What what are you talking about" I asked and picked up my skateboard. "Your the whore that was with my man huh" she said in my face. "Woah back the fuck up first of all and secondly who and what are you talking about" I said pushing her back but not roughly just a bit. "Oh you know what I'm talking about. I bet he just wanted to get me jealous cuz he would never go for someone like you" she made a disgusted face at me. Wtf. "Who are you talking and don't look at me like that" I said getting louder. "Benny duh he's her boyfriend" the third girl finally spoke. "What" I said again. "Nothing is going on with him and i he's-" I tried to say something but the girl said. " yeah sure but I already showed him the picture so good luck getting him back. He's just gonna come back to me so watch out." She said rudely and her little minions walked away with her. WHAT THE FUCK.

Time skip to me getting home

Benny was at the kitchen table waiting for me I guess. "Benny you won't believe what just happened to me" I said sitting down. "Sofia what where were you" he said sternly. Damn waht is it with everyone are they on their period or sum jeez. "That doesn't matter anyways there were these girls and-" he cut me off. "Tell me this picture isn't true please" he showed me a picture of me and phillips at the skat park. Whoever took it took it in the right moment when he was holding me waist. "Tell me you weren't with him please" "I was he's my friend well was" I corrected myself. "Whyyyy don't ever talk to him every again. Understand me" he said rudely. "Calm down Benny what's so bad about it" I said backing up. "Listen to me don't you ever talk to him ever again...please" he said calming down. "Benny calm down and if it bothers you that much...I won't" he relaxed and hugged me but I didn't hug back. "I'm sorry" he whispered to me with his chin on my head. "mhm" I said soggy before pushing him aside and walking to my room.

Well now i basically have no one to talk to. My own brother doesn't want to talk to me, and Jordan doesn't like me cuz of my brother. God I swear family drama is the worst kind of drama. But anyways currently im in my room decorating it. I honestly have nothing else to do

I finished my room^^ it looked so cute so I made a tiktok with a random sound and did a room tour.

About an hour or so later I was just chilling in my room when I got a notification from tiktok saying someone followed me. Huh weird since I only have about 2000 followers i think. @jordanphillips started following you.

wow so first he said don't talk to him and now he wants to follow me. That's a jack ass move. I didn't do anything tho I was to lazy to actually do something. Instead I went to his page. There were three tiktoks posted and he had 4,0366 followers wow. I wasn't sure if I should have followed him back right then and there so I waited a bit. By now it was 4 and my mom would be home any minute now.

"I'm hommeee" I heard my mom call out. I walked to the living room to greet her. "Hola Mami how was work" I asked taking her bag and setting it down on the hanger. "Thanks mija" she hugged me and gave me a kiss on the head. I smiled at her. All these years I've missed this and I'm really happy honestly I've recently been forgetting my fathers death but not in a rude way just being happier.

I was in thought when Benny came in the living room. "Hey mom uhm can I borrow Sofia for a second I have to talk to her" he said looking at me. "Uh she doesn't want to talk to you" I said in my head. "Uh sure go ahead I'm gonna go shower then start on dinner ok" she asked us both. We both nodded and she left. "What do you want now" I asked sitting down across from him. "To apologize" he sat down next to me. "Ok go ahead" I said with a sarcastic smile. He smiled back in a sarcastic way as well. "We'll I wanted to start off first with I'm sorry and I understand you were just hanging out or whatever but you have to understand you can't see him anymore please for me?" He said looking at me seriously. "Alright" I said blankly. I was still hurt of what Jordan said to me. "You promise?" He asked. "Yes but what even happened between you guys?" I asked curiously.

He explained to me what happened in the past. And what has happened between them in the present. It was drama and drama I didn't want to involved so I just listened and ate dinner and went straight to my room. I did my night routine and went straight to sleep I was exhausted to say the least.

Jordan's POV

It's been 2 weeks I haven't seen or heard of Sofia. The last time we talked I went off on her and I still feel very guilty. I followed her back later that day but she never followed me back so I just unfollowed. Right now im at practice still thinking about her. It's just something about her is different she makes me feel some type of way I can't even explain but she's a... RODRIGUEZ. So therefor we can't be anything not even friends.

Sofia's POV

It's been 2 weeks that I haven't seen or spoken to Phillips now. I never followed him back for bennys stake since he told me not to talk to him. Honestly I wouldn't have listened to him if it weren't for the fact I felt pressured into listening to him. Right now it's summer has been since I got here. I still have exactly 2 months left to get more used to this town and make at least one friend. There's this girl that lives like 2 blocks away from me that I've seen roller blade a couple times at the skatepark she seems cool so today's the day I actually talk to her. Im honestly nervous cuz i may or may have a little bit of social anxiety. For some reason Charlie hasn't texted me in like 2 days either I just thought he was busy but turns out he was fake all along:( so that's that. Let's see if this friendship will or won't be a flop.
