I got home at 1 am from my 'walk' I thought no one heard me since I was really quiet. In the morning I woke up at 10am i was pretty tired from last night. I did my morning routine and went to breakfast. Benny was there.

"Morning Ben" I said with a yawn and sat down. "Woah why are you so tired" he asked taking a bite out of an apple. "Uh what do you mean" I said a little scared since I didn't want to get in trouble for sneaking out late. "You seem really tired I thought you went to sleep when I did?" He said walking to the trash. " uhm I couldn't sleep so I stayed up just...watching tiktok" I said getting up trynna act as chill as possible. "Uh huh alright then welp i have to go to the sandlot I'm already late. Uh do u wanna come?" He asked unsurely since he knew I wasn't used to the guys yet. "Uh no it's fine imma go around town again" I said with a smile. "Ok be safe lave ya" he walked to the door and waved goodbye.

I made breakfast for myself just some eggs and bacon i cant really cook. I got my phone,airpods,house key, and skate board. I figured since I'm still new around here ill just try to find a skate park or something.

I've been skating for a good 10 minutes around town. Currently I'm in the same store I went to yesterday. They had really good slurpee's so again I got a red one. "Just this young lady" an old lady said kindly. Wow people here are so nice unlike new yorkers smh. "Uh yes please" I smiled at her. I payed and continued to skate.

I got tired of actually just searching for one so I grabbed my phone. And typed in 'Skate parks near me' on google. There was one near me just about 10 minutes away. Eh not that bad honestly. I grabbed my airpods and opened Spotify. I shuffle played my playlist and it landed on Ms.Jackson by outkast. (One of my faves)

I finally made it to the park. It was empty for some reason. But hey more space for me. There was a ramp,a pole,some stairs with railing,a bowl,and lastly a launch ramp or a 'kicker'. This skate park was nice and less graffiti than in ny.

I was doing a trick on the stair railing but fell. And when I thought no one saw someone did. They walked up to me and again to my surprise it was Jordan. "Hey you good Sofia" he said concerned. "Yeah im good i always fall don't worry about it" I laughed it off cuz I always fall and I think it's funny. "Why are laughing that didn't hurt you something" he looked so confused. "In New York you basically get hurt everyday wether it from falling on the slippery steps to the subway to just eating shit while skate boarding there a lot of pot holes" I explained to him while I got back up. "Oh ok well wanna skate with me- I don't skate I can do tricks with my bike tho" he said nervously. "Cool i don't even know how to ride a bike haha" I fake laughed and got my slurpee from the ground. "Oh I'll teach you. And you could teach me how to ride a skateboard?" He suggested. "Hmmm sure sounds good but just to let you know you won't be able to learn how to skate in less than a day" I said. "Eh gives me another excuse to see you more" he winked playfully. "Smooth Phillips smooth." I said and walked away to a ramp.

"Ohh yeah that's wrong" I said making a sound with the 'ohhhh'. "Huh what do you mean I'm doing why you told me to do" he said a little annoyed at the fact he can't even do a little flip. "Jordan look you have to put one foot on the top and the other one there" I pointed to a side of the skateboard. "mhm" he said and tried again. Only this time he actually fell. I heard a grunt from him and he got up scratching the back of his neck. "Woah are you ok" I said as I got up from the bench I was sitting on. "Yeah I'm fine. Honestly I don't think I can do this" he said shaking his head. "No don't say look how about you show me how to ride a bike and tomorrow ill continue to teach you?" I said trying to convince him. "alright fine" he gave in. I smiled at him.

He showed me how to ride a bike-or tried to i just couldn't balance sitting. At one point he grabbed my waist to show that balancing wasn't that hard. I slightly blushed and so did he but I didn't notice. "Then after you just pedal a bit start with your right foot push. Then left push. Alright" he said motioning to my feet. "Alright I got this" I whisper to myself as he lets go of me. I heard rustling from a bush in front of us. Just as he let go I was caught off guard and looked up and lost my balance. Boom I fell.

Anyways I fell and Jordan helped me back up. "Wow how did you even manage to fall off a bike?" Said laughing. "Says the one who also ate shit just doing a little flip" I said sarcastically laughing. "Mhm whatever" he rolled his eyes. "Hey did you hear that to or just me" I said. He made a weird face confused. "The bush" I said pointing to it. "Uh no why" "Huh I could've sworn someone or something made a noise" I just went back to trying to ride a bike. I finally got it and rode along the side of the park. We both learned how to balance today and agreed that tomorrow we'll try to attempt some tricks.

"Hey want to go hangout?" He asked Linda shyly. "Sure I mean i just have to be home by 4 my mom gets back from work" I said grabbing my board. "Alright uhm let's go to the field but first let's go grab some snacks?" He asked getting on his bike. "Duh snacks make anything and everything better" i said. We exited the park gates and went to a grocery store.

We went inside and grabs a bunch of snacks we both like. We went to pay and I offered to pay but he didn't let me. "I'll pay its ok"he said and took out 20 bucks from his wallet. "Are you sure" I asked also taking out a 20. "Yes you always have to let the guy pay. To be a" I continued. "Gentlemen. I know alright thanks but next time ill pay alright" I said . "Mhm sure whatever" he said with a smile. Ugh that smile. Bro stfu Sofia you cant.
