Everyone goes home to get ready for the pool. After around half an hour we are all at the pool. All the boys go into the changing rooms to get changed. I go into the womens changing room and change into my swimming outfit. I walk out of the changing room and see all the boys look at me

"Wow" yeah-yeah says

" 'wow' what?" Benny asks.

"Turn around"

Benny turns around to look at me. His eyes widen. He smiles at me, I smile back at him. I get into the pool. They are all still staring.

"Have we come here to stand around or have fun?!" I say to then.

Everyone carries on having fun. Squints stops. Everyone stops too, wondering what's wrong with squints. He's staring at Wendy. Everyone else does the same.

"Aw man" benny says.

I give him a look in the corner of my eye.

"Yeah,yeah too cruel." Says yeah-yeah

"She don't know what she's doing." Timmy says.

"She don't know what she's doing." Tommy repeats.

"Yeah she does. She knows exactly what she's doing." Says benny.

I raise my eyebrows,look at him and then look away.

"I've swum here every summer of my adult life. And every summer, there she is, lotioning,oiling,oiling,lotioning. Smiling. I can't take this no more!" Squints mutters.

Squints gets out the pool and walks over to the deep end.

"Squints can't swim, what's he doing!? Exclaims ham.

Squints walks onto the diving board and jumps in. We alll get out and run over to him. Wendy dives in to save him. She grabs him and gets him out of the pool. We're all surrounding him. Wendy starts giving him mouth to mouth.

"Cmon squints, wake up" I say

All of the other boys are saying the same.

Wendy puts her ear to his chest to see if he's breathing for the fifth time. Squints opens his eyes and smirks at us. We all look at eachother confused. Wendy gives him mouth to mouth again but before she pulls away squints puts his hand behind her head and holds it there. She pulls away.

"You little pervert!" Wendy says.

She pulls him up and drags him out of the pool. We all follow behind. She lets go of him and he runs of.

"Bye Benny." She says waving at him.

I look at her.

"What are you looking at." She says to me, giving me a dirty look.

Benny puts his hand on my back, gesturing me to walk away.

"Cmon y/n, let's go." He says to me.

We all walk off.
