It's been a few weeks and me and scotty have become good friends with all of the boys.

I hear a knock on your window. It's Benny.

"Get ready. Cmon we're going sandlot"

"It's 7 in the morning!" I groan.

I get changed and put on my blue la baseball hat.I walk outside and Benny is standing there waiting for me.

"I like your hat" he smiles. He's wearing the same one.

"I like yours two" I smile two.

"Where's Scotty?" I ask

"He already left"

Benny and I make our way to the sandlot.

We get to the sandlot. Benny walks over to the others. I start to make my way over to the dugout.

"Y/n, why don't you play with us" says squints.

They others join in.

'Yeah come play'

'Play!play!play!"

"Cmon y/n'

I start walking over to them, slowly.

"You don't have to y/n" says Scotty.

"It's fine, I'll play" I take a deep breath.

"You can bat" says Benny handing me the bat. I faintly smile at him.

"Guys I don't this is a good idea" Scotty says to the others.

"Why, is she really bad or something?" Asks ham.

"No but she hasn't played baseball since-"

"Are we gonna play or not" I say, wanting to get this over with.

Everyone gets into position. Kenny passes the ball to me and I hit it. It goes over the fence and behind the house.

"Wow y/n!! How did you get it so far!?"

"Your really good y/n"

"You should play with us."

"You hit it further then Benny!"

I drop the bat. And start walking away from them.

"Where are you going" asks Betram, confused.

"I told you guys it was a bad idea." Says Scotty.

"How was it a bad idea?" Asks Timmy

"Yeah how was it a bad idea" says Tommy

"Y/n used to be really close with our real dad and they played baseball every day with eachother. A few months ago they were playing baseball at the park and y/n hit the ball over onto the road. Our dad went to go get it and a car hit him. He passed away and y/n blamed it on herself, and she still does. She hasn't played baseball since."

Nobody says anything. They all look down.

"Man, I'm sorry that happened" says kenny.

Im standing across the field looking at them. I can tell the Scotty told them. I turn around and slowly start walking. Benny runs over to me
