"Okay so honest opinions and don't just hype me up" you instructed before stepping out of the dressing room.
Noya and Tanaka's jaws hit the floor when you stepped out, you walked over to the small platform in the center of the room and stepped up. The women helping you put the dress on fixed the trail and placed the veil at the back of your head. You looked up into the mirror and you knew in that moment that this was the dress you had been looking for.
"I'm really at a loss for words Goddess" Noya said in awe.
"Please just leave that rooster and marry me instead!" Tanaka chimed in.
"I don't think Kiyoko would like that" you teased.
"If I sent her a picture of you in that I'm sure she would be supportive" he joked.
"Okay be serious, does it look okay?" you asked now feeling self-conscious.
"You look like an angel" Noya said with two thumbs up.
"Do you think Tetsu will cry when he see's me in it?" you joked.
"If he doesn't than he is a heartless monster, still don't know why you gave him another chance" Tanaka whispered the last part under his breath.
"Cut it out T, that's in the past and I'm happy" you lightly scolded.
"I know, just know if he messes up again I'll punch his bed-headed face in" he said punching his fist into his palm making you laugh.
"Don't worry I'll beat you to it" you joked.
You and Kuroo had been back together for a year now and he had proposed about 6 months in, vowing that he didn't want to wait anymore. You were hesitant at first to accept but something in you told you to trust it and you hadn't regretted that decision for one second since. He really had worked on himself during the time you were apart, and it showed in his every day actions. He was a lot more open about his feelings and his jealousy issues had really calmed down, he also was much more generous in the relationship, always surprising you with gifts and flowers or even just texts of how he missed you or was thinking about you.
After the engagement you had taken him to America to announce it to your parents who were excited. You stayed there for nearly a month showing him around and letting him experience the culture which he found fascinating. When you got back home you found a place together that was close enough to his work and gave you enough space for your collectables and a game room. Everything had been really smooth since then and your wedding plans were finalized it was just a matter of finding the dress, which you had now luckily found.
When the day of the wedding arrived you were overjoyed, planning the wedding had consumed the last few months and it was finally show time. You arrived at the venue on schedule and made your way into the bridal sweet where Tanaka and Noya were waiting. They had agreed to be your brides men and you had found them matching suits in your wedding colors.
"Happy wedding day!!" they cheered as you walked in and sat your stuff down.
"Thank you guys, I'm ready to get this over with" you joked.
"If your getting cold feet we could always just run away, we can go on the honeymoon and pack Noya in a suitcase" Tanaka joked trying to calm your nerves.
"Its not cold feet, I'm just ready to be married to him. This whole thing has taken months to prepare and I'm just ready to experience it and then live happily ever after, our fairy tale had a rough beginning but it has a happy ending" you said flashing them a smile.

"Your happiness sickens me" Noya cringed making you all laugh.
"Time to get beautiful!" Yachi said bursting through the door, she had really come out of her shell after she graduated and had become one of your very good friends. "I've got the makeup!" she said holding her makeup case high above her head.
"And I have the hair" Kiyoko said stepping up behind her, her voice much calmer.
"There you are beautiful" Tanaka said with heart eyes, she flashed him a smile in return making him blush. They had recently gotten married but he was still just as obsessed with her which was adorable.
It took about an hour to do your hair and makeup and then it was time to put the dress on. They helped you put it on and then made a few adjustments making sure everything was perfect.
"Wow y/n, you look amazing" Yachi said in awe.
"Thank you yachi!" you said smiling at her.
"Damn Princess" a voice said from behind you. Your turned to see Ukai, he had a small bouquet of your favorite flowers.
"You clean up pretty nice old man" you teased crossing the room towards him.
"I could say the same for you, you look beautiful" he said the last part a lot more serious.
"Thank you Keishin, are those for me?" you asked pointing to the flowers.
"Oh, yes" he said handing them over. "You ready for today?" he asked with a hint of concern.
"If not are you going to help me escape?" you joked.
"Anytime Princess, I'll send everyone home right now so that I can keep you to myself" he teased.
"Okay that's enough coach, she has a fiancée waiting for her" Tanaka said sticking an arm between the two of you.
"It was only a joke T, plus weren't you offering the same thing a minute ago" you said leaning in and kissing his cheek. "Lets get this started!" you said leading the way out of the room, setting the flowers on the table.
Ukai, Yachi and Kiyoko went to find their seats, and Tanaka and Noya lined up so that they could walk down the isle to their spots. The music started and they walked in their slow pace towards the front and then it was your turn. The doors in front of you opened and you got your first glimpse of the very full room, everyone that you had met over the years were filling the rows each standing to their feet as you walked down the isle. You were distracted slightly by the crowd until your eyes landed on Kuroo and then the rest of the room faded away. He looked amazingly handsome in his suit and his hair was in its usual messy state. He was smiling but you could tell he was on the verge of tears as he watched you get closer. You got to him and he walked down the few steps to get you and hold your hand as you walked up standing with him in front of the crowd.
"You look even more beautiful than I had imagined" he said with a sniffle.
"Thank you baby, you look really handsome" you said reaching out and caressing his arm.
"You may all be seated" the wedding officiator said bringing in everyone's attention. " Y/n and Tetsuro would like to thank all of you for being here on their special day. Their love story may not have started in your typical way but it didn't take them long to fall head over heels for each other. Now today they would like to take the next step in their relationship by becoming one through marriage in front of their family and friends." He explained.

They officiator went on to tell your love story, explaining how you had met by chance at a volleyball game as rivals but then had grown through love over the last few years even when away from one another.
"Now I know they have prepared their own vows, so Tetsuro if you would like to go first" he said stepping back.
"Oh man, I didn't think I would be this nervous to tell you how much I love you but I am. Truth is I've loved you from the moment I saw you, I know love at first sight is something they say in stories but for me it happened. I walked in that gym and my eyes locked with yours and I knew that instant that you were my future wife, talking to you and seeing how witty you were only confirmed it. From there I fell hard for you, each interaction, each kiss, each touch just pulled me in deeper and deeper. Falling for you was as simple as breathing for me, it was completely natural and I didn't fight it. Then one lucky day you said you love me and I swear my heart nearly exploded from pounding so hard. I knew the way that I felt but finally hearing that you felt the same way was almost too much for this pretty boy to handle. I'm so happy that even after I was a complete dumbass you gave me another chance, I was never going to be able to let you go and I'm so glad I didn't have to. Thank you for loving me and making me a better man, and thank you for your constant encouragement and push. I'm so excited to see where life takes us, because a life with you is more exciting and fulfilling than I could ask for. I love you so very much y/n l/n" he said sniffling and wiping his tears off on his sleeve.
"I love you too Tetsu, more so everyday. You say that you fell in love with me at first sight and for me it was the same, you walked in that gym door and I just thought, wow he is handsome. You were so bold and flirted with me and basically invited yourself to my home, but I'm so thankful you did. Our relationship progressed quickly and before I knew it we were talking late into the night, sending texts all day long and genuinely falling in love. I tried to hide the fact that I was falling in love because we both know there was more than just us involved and my heart wasn't really ready, I was afraid of being broken again. But no matter how scared I was or how much I didn't speak on my true feelings you didn't leave or abandon me, you put in the effort to know me, to know my family and to be what I needed. Thanks to the two greatest best friends a girl can have, I was finally able to voice my feelings for you and when you showed up angry at my door I knew in that moment we were going to be forever. I think the time we had apart was needed, you grew as a man and I'm so very proud to call you mine now. Thank the lords for volleyball for not only bringing us together the first time, but also bringing us back together so that we can now stand here confessing our undying love for each other. Thank you for doing this crazy thing called life with me and for being not only the love of my life, but my friend, my confidant, and my cuddle buddy." You said squeezing his hands and trying to fight back the tears.
"I wanna kiss you so bad right now" he said tapping his foot anxiously.
"That was beautiful you two, so let's get to the I do's" the officiator said. "Tetsuro, do you take y/n to be your lawfully wedded wife, through sickness and in health till death do you part?" he asked.
"Without a doubt I do" Kuroo said staring deeply into your eyes, his cocky half smile lighting up his face.
"Y/n do you take Tetsuro to be your lawfully wedded husband, through sickness and in health till death do you part?" the officiator asked.
"Hell yea I do" you said flashing him a smile, the audience laughing lightly at your answer.
"Fantastic. At this time Tetsuro and y/n will exchange rings. The ring is a symbol of eternity, because with a ring there is no beginning, there is no end, because it's a circle. Its not like a triangle, triangle has ends, with this one it is a circle. As you exchange these rings think of them as a promise, to always love one another, through thick and thin, through any obstacle that comes your way. It is also a symbol of attachment, not possession, but of a partnership that you both enter into, accepting each other for their flaws and short comings, and cherishing them for their strengths and greatness." He explained.
"Now Tetsuro repeat after me" he said turning towards him. "I promise to love you and commit to you my whole life." He started
"I promise to love you and commit to you my whole life" Kuroo repeated.
"I promise to be there for you when you need me, to be honest with you and be faithful to you alone." He continued.
"I promise to be there for you when you need me, to be honest with you and be faithful to you alone" Kuroo repeated, his words coming out more meaningful with the last part as he slid the ring on your finger.
"Now y/n repeat after me" he started.
"No need" you said interrupting him. "Tetsu I promise to love you and commit to you my whole life. I promise to be there for you when you need me, to be honest with you and be faithful to you alone." You said reciting the whole thing and sliding the ring on to Kuroo's finger.
"Good memory" the officiate joked making everyone chuckle. "Well then before I pronounce these two as a couple, if there is anyone present who has knowledge of why these two should not be joined in matrimony then speak now or forever hold your peace." He said taking a pause.
Tsukki stood up in the crowd, his face set in a scowl and his shoulders pulled back.
"Tsukki sit down" Yamaguchi begged and tried to pull him back down.
"No I have to do this" he whispered back and knocked Yam's hands away. " I object" Tsukki said loud and clear taking the crowd by surprise.
"What the hell Tsukishima?" Kuroo said shocked and pissed.
"I'm still in love with you y/n and I cant let you marry him" Tsukki said locking eyes with you.
"Get him out of here" Kuroo said looking to his old teammates in the crowd and motioning towards him. Several guys stood up and started moving in on Tsukki, ready to drag him out of there.
"STOP!" you yelled freezing them all in place. "Do not touch him" your voice came out sharp and harsh.
"Y/n?" Kuroo said looking back to you worried.
"Give me a minute to talk to him, and get him out of here peacefully, please trust me" you said releasing his hands and walking towards Tsukki. "Come with me" you said extending your hand towards him. He took it and let you drag him out of the room and into the bridal suite where you had gotten ready. Once you were inside the room and the door was closed you sighed heavily and turned to face him.
"WHAT THE HELL KEI? It's been years since we've seen each other, and you haven't spoken to me that entire time, yet you show up to my wedding saying you still love me? Have you lost your mind, because I'll help you find it" you huffed out.
"I WAS JUST UPSET FOR AWHILE SO I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO TALK TO YOU!" he yelled. "You slept with me and the broke it off how was I supposed to feel?!" he questioned.
"I......" you started but took a deep calming breath. "Your right, I should've handled the situation better, you were younger and unexperienced and I knew from the start that you had feelings for me but that didn't stop me. I did like you a lot Kei, you're an amazing guy and I felt safe around you, but I just had stronger feelings for someone else." You explained.
"But he cheated on you, I sent you proof and yet you still went back to him. When you guys broke up I planned on reaching out and explaining everything but you disappeared so I didn't get the chance." He explained.
"You sent me that picture?" you asked trying to clarify.
"Yes, I wanted you to see him for who he really is and I didn't like that you chose him over me and yet he cheats on you like that" he spat.
"Thank you for trying to help me, but we have moved past that and I'm happy now, isn't that enough? Cant you just let me be happy?" you pleaded.
"I just want you to be happy with me" he confessed letting the tears roll down his cheeks.
"I'm sorry Kei but that's just not possible right now, I love Tetsu and you need to accept that. I need to get back in there, please go home." You said walking past him back towards the ceremony. You paused outside of the door to gather yourself and slow your heart before you opened the door and walked back to the stage.
"Are you okay?" Kuroo asked rushing down the steps to meet you.
"Everything is fine, lets finish getting married" you said flashing him a smile but his eyes showed how worried he still was.
"Well what's a wedding without a little excitement" the officiator joked trying to lighten the mood. "Tetsuro and y/n, you have both confessed your love and intent in front of me and your friends and family, so with the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride" He said looking to Kuroo.
Kuroo didn't hesitate and caught your face between his large hands and brought his lips to yours. The kiss was deep and you could feel his nerves and excitement, he must've been scared when you left with Tsukki.
"I love you so much baby" he confessed against your lips.
"I love you too" you said kissing him again.
He took your hand in his and lead you back down the isle, the crowd of people clapping wildly. The reception went smoothly that evening and you drank and danced the night away with your husband and your friends, it was truly a night to remember.
*Time skip*
"Okay that's the last of the decorations, anything else you need me to do Chibi-chan?" Kuroo asked coming up behind you. He wrapped his arms around your waist and rested his chin on your shoulder, as he watched you finish icing the cake.
"No that should be it, I'm almost done here and then guests should be arriving any minute" you said leaning your head against his.
"You're such a good Mommy, baking and decorating her first birthday cake, what a lucky little girl" he said kissing your cheek.
"Let's save the compliments till we eat it, might taste terrible" you joked.
"I doubt that!" he laughed. A knock came at the door so he left to go open it, and the moment he opened the door a very loud owl boy called your name making you laugh.

Joshua Durand has always lived in someone else’s shadow, a side character in someone else’s show. His brother was the real hero of the tale, or he was until his ‘friends’ stabbed him in the back. Now though, he’s got a chance to step into the spotlight, as long as he’s willing to make a deal with the devil. He doesn’t know if this is the right decision or the wrong one, but what he does know is “It’s showtime!” --- This is forum quest story taking place in the same city/setting as my other stories: The Huntsman's Quest and Hacking Reality stories meaning that while a majority of the plot is made up by me, the major choices as well as what each chapter is about are usually made by the actual readers in forum votes. Additionally, given how this is essentially a story version of a Tabletop game there is also a background RPG system that while the characters aren't necessarily aware of, the readers can see these stats to know how each chosen 'Action' effects their character's development.
