"I love...... Daichi, obviously" you said smiling and opening your eyes. Noya and Tanaka high fived each other and both did a goofy celebration dance that made you laugh.

"Call him now!" Noya said excited and grabbing your phone. He thrust it into your hands and then looked at you intensely.

"I can't call him right now! Its too late, I'm sure he is asleep, plus I don't want to do it so simple. He deserves a grand gesture so help me come up with something!" You but your hands together prayer style and rested your chin on the top staring down both of them. The room was silent for several minutes as you all thought of options but nothing fully felt right.

"Lets just google it" Tanaka suggested. He pulled his phone from his pocket and began typing things in.

"How about at Nationals, I'll tell him right before he goes out on court to give him a burst of excitement?" you offered.

"Or he will be too focused on you rather than the game" Noya countered.

"True...... okay how about 90's movie style or prom-posal? I can make a big sign and surprise him at practice or at home?" you proposed.

"How about you hire someone famous to sing him a song?" Noya offered excited.

"I wouldn't even know how to get ahold of someone for something like that" you explained. "Did you find anything T?" you asked turning towards Tanaka.

"Huh?" he said only half listening.

"Are you even googling ideas?" you laughed.

"Oh yea, I forgot that's what I was supposed to be doing" he laughed back and slid the phone into his pocket.

"Well lets just get some sleep and think about it. I don't have to tell him right away, I have time to plan something." You said with a big yawn.

The three of you curled up together under the covers and were asleep within minutes. You slept surprisingly well even though your brain stayed in overdrive all night thinking of ways to confess. When morning came you still had no clue what you were going to do but decided to take a shower and just think about it later. When you got out of the shower the guys were hurrying to get dressed and leaving.

"Hey wait for me!" you said trying to find clothes.

"No time!" Noya said as he put his shirt on backwards.

"If we're late we will have to run, if your late... well he'll probably just kiss you and yell at us anyways" Tanaka laughed.

"I can be fast!" you said dropping the towel and quickly getting dressed. They both averted their eyes and left the room closing the door behind them.

You rushed to get dressed and put your hair up rather messily and grabbed your bag. Rushing to the door you had one shoe on when you opened the door and froze in place. Kneeling on the porch was Daichi, he had a large bunch of roses in his hand, and a heart made out of petals surrounding him.

"Uh hi" you said slightly startled.

"Hi baby" he said with a beautiful smile.

"What is all this for?" you asked motioning towards the flowers.

"Well a little birdy" he started.

"I think you mean a soon to be dead crow but continue" you laughed as you glared over his shoulder at Tanaka and Noya who were recording with their phones.

"Well this little crow told me you might have something to say, so I wanted to come over and surprise you." he explained.

"Well it seems he already told you what I was going to say" you laughed feeling embarrassed.

"I'd like to hear you say it though" he stood to his feet as he talked. "I know this is putting you on the spot, but I honestly had to fight myself not to show up last night" he said taking your hand in his.

"The thing is I wanted to do a big grand gesture when I told you, instead here you are doing one for me." You said slightly stalling, you felt really nervous about saying those 3 big words and any second you could get to calm your heart was needed.

"You want to swap me places?" he offered.

"Yes please!" he handed you the flowers and you traded him spots and kneeled down in the heart of petals. You cleared your throat and closed your eyes for a second gathering your courage.

"I just wanted to start by saying how amazing I think you are, your so kind and sweet but also strong and passionate. Your heart is enormous and you show me that everyday. The moment you saved me from that rogue ball and our eyes met I felt something immensely special between us. It honestly scared the crap out of me at times because I felt so broken and here you were this knight in shining armor. You swept me off my feet, literally, and kissed me against my door and you've invaded my heart ever since. I'm sorry it took me so long to love you back the way you deserved but I was honestly scared about committing to one person only again, afraid id get hurt. I don't have that fear when it comes to you now though, I've never felt more safe with anyone. So................" You said taking a deep breath. "I love you Sawamura, and I'd like to know if you would do me the honor of being my boyfriend" you asked. Your hands were shaking at this point and the flowers felt like a heavy dumbbell.

"I love you too y/n, nearly from the moment I met you. I felt this intense pull towards you that I couldn't explain, you came in and flipped everything I've ever known upside down. Before, everything was school, home, practice, but then I kissed your lips and you were all I could think about. I would have asked you to be mine then and there but I learned about what you had been through and I wanted to respect your choices but I also wanted to be a part of those choices. I have never had more fun, more experiences, or more love with another person until you. Thank you for choosing to let me love you and love me in return because nothing could ever make me more happy. I promise to never hurt you and to always make you feel wanted baby. So yes I will be your boyfriend but can you please stand up now so I can kiss you" he said offering you his hand.

You dropped the flowers to the ground and launched up into his arms, he wrapped them around you holding you tight. His lips found yours in a very hungry kiss, tears streaming form both of your eyes. The sound of clapping made you both laugh, the boys had tears streaming down their faces too which was rather adorable. Daichi pulled you inside and kicked the door shut, his lips leaving kisses all over your face as he kissed away the tears.

"Ummm should we just wait here?" You heard Tanaka call out from the other side of the door.

"Hold on Daddy, I need to make these boys leave" you said pressing your fingers to his lips. His eyes opened in surprise at your use of his "accidental" nickname. You swung the door open and pointed at the two guys fiercely. "You two go to practice and say we are both sick, if you don't lie well enough I'm going to beat both of you! " you commanded.

"But wont Coach question that since you were with him yesterday?" Noya asked, he then clamped his hand over his mouth realizing what he had said.

"Yes he will probably not believe you but stick to the story and I'll just explain and apologize to him later, now go!" you said shooing them away and shutting the door.

"So that's why both of you were gone for a few days huh?" Daichi asked, he didn't seem mad but you were worried.

"Yea I was honestly feeling a bit overwhelmed so I kidnapped him and we went on a trip to America. I hope you know I wasn't trying to hide it or anything I just hadn't really had the chance to explain the last few days to you yet" you said feeling bad.

"It's not a big deal babe, I was going to ask where you had been the last few days because honestly I was worried, but I know you wouldn't lie to me or hide it from me. I trust you as much as you trust me, I'd like to hear about your trip later too, maybe just leave out certain details" he laughed.

"I will, so now that we have a free day what do you want to do?" you asked.

"I've got a few ideas" he half smiled and started leading you back to the bedroom.

He started stripping once he entered your bedroom, he was in his boxer-briefs in a matter of seconds.

You followed his lead and stripped down to your bra and underwear, he then tossed you his shirt and told you to put it on which confused you. He crawled into your bed and held the covers up for you to crawl under.

"I'm confused are we sleeping or sexing?" you asked.

"Sleeping, I'm exhausted, I couldn't sleep with how nervous i was" he admitted before yawning.

"Sounds good baby cakes" you laughed crawling in beside him.

He pulled you against his body big spoon style and wrapped his arm over your waist. After some slight adjustments he got very still and went right to sleep. laying there you were oddly calmed by the sound of his slow breathing, his heart beating steadily in his chest, his warm arm wrapped over you and the smell of his cologne wafting from his shirt. This feeling you could only describe as bliss, unbelievably pure bliss. You closed your eyes and drifted off into peaceful sleep knowing that when you woke up he would still be there and the two of you could spend your first day together as a couple.
