"I love......... Kuroo" your lips turned up into a smile as you spoke his name.

"You cant love our rivals!" Tanaka groaned.

"He is graduating this year so he wont even be out rival anymore" you countered.

"Once a cat always a cat" Noya said to back Tanaka up.

"A cute cat" you said under your breath.

"Doesn't matter, they will be our rivals for life" Noya said with a shrug.

"When are you two just going to be gay for each other, you are basically already the same person with stupid opinions." You said rolling your eyes.

"Because I'm in love with Kiyoko and Noya here is in love with As-" Tanaka started before Noya clamped a hand over his mouth.

"Her AS well" Noya corrected before letting go.

"Yea sure" you said with a cheeky smile. "So what can I do to get you on board with my decision?" you asked trying to get back to the problem at hand.

"He could say were better" Tanaka said with an evil grin.

"So you want him to lie? I could probably get him to agree if we didn't keep losing to them" you said knowing it would stir him up.

"I'LL PLAY HIM RIGHT NOW!" he said jumping to his feet on the bed and ripping his shirt off swinging it in a circle over his head.

"You are so gullible" you laughed.

"ANYTIME! ANYWHERE!" he continued.

"Just sit down idiot! We need to go to sleep or coach will kill all of us tomorrow" you grabbed his arm and pulled him down beside you.

"But we didn't even talk about how your going to tell him" Noya complained.

"Ill figure it out tomorrow, we need to sleep because tomorrow is going to be really awkward." You said lightly groaning.

"Can you wait to tell him till after practice? If you break his heart he might make us run more" Noya groaned as he laid down on the other side of you.

"Ukai?" you asked.

"Yea or Daichi" Noya explained.

"Yea I don't plan on telling him yet, don't want him to think he was just a booty call." you joked.

"Ewwwww" Tanaka groaned.

"That's an expensive booty call" Noya laughed.

"It was so worth it though, you would think his tongue had a built in vibrator" you said pretending to fan yourself.

"Nope that's it, your done" Tanaka pulled the pillow from under your head and covered your face with it. When you tried to take it off he would just swat your hands away and laugh.

The next morning the boys got up on time and set off to practice, you decided to take your time to get ready knowing you weren't ready to face the guys yet. You were stripping for the shower when someone knocked at the door, grabbing a robe you hurried to answer. An angry looking Kuroo was standing outside with his arms crossed, he looked adorable even with a frown.

"Hey Handsome what are you doing here?" you asked.

"What am I doing here? What are you doing here?" he asked angrily.

"Well this is my house, and I like to sleep in my bed is that okay?" you joked.

"Yea you're here now but you haven't been here for the last several days, and you haven't been answering my calls. I didn't know if you died or if you just decided you were mad at me." He scolded.

"I just went out of town for a few days" you said with a laugh.

"What's so funny? You like leaving me worried sick for days?" he said annoyed.

"No I just think its cute how upset you are, really makes me understand why I love you so much" You said laughing.

"You cant just compliment me and get........... Did you just say you love me?" he asked his expression changing from angry to surprised.

"Yes you dummy" you said smiling up at him.

"And it wasn't accidentally?" he asked, his eyes glinted with excitement but you could tell he was worried about the answer.

"No it wasn't an accident" you said reaching your hand for his. He knocked it out of the way and pulled you into his chest in a tight hug, you could hear his heart beating loudly.

"I love you too" he said his voice lightly shaking from nerves.

"I know pretty boy" you said using his nickname.

"Can you say it again?" he asked lightly squeezing you closer.

"I love you" you said rubbing his back.

"Can I take you back to bed now Chibi-chan?" he asked pulling back slightly from you so he could see your face.

"Well I was actually about to take a shower, I didn't take one when I got back yesterday" you explained.

"That works too" he leaned down and grabbed you around the waist, throwing you over his shoulder he headed back towards your room.

"You cant just go from yelling at me to showering with me" you teased.

"Who made that up?" he asked.

"I did!"

"Well I couldn't hear you" he laughed and smacked your ass.

"Your impossible" you playfully groaned.

"Impossibly adorable" he corrected.

After a shower that was nearly impossible to wash in thanks to a bedhead with grabby hands, you got out and got dressed for the day. He decided to come with you to practice even though you insisted it wasn't a good idea. He couldn't stop smiling the whole way towards the gym which made you happy.

"So does this mean I can say your my girlfriend now?" he asked as he interlocked your fingers.

"Yes but lets not make that known today, I haven't been able to talk to the others yet and I don't want to do it in such a careless way" you explained.

"But what if they flirt with you in front of me?" he asked, he held his face stoic but you knew he wasn't going to act so calm if it happened.

"I'll do my best to move away from conversations like that, but you need to keep your jealousy under wraps. I usually think your jealousy is cute but if you make me hurt one of them I'll deeply reconsider my choice in you." You said very straightforward.

"That's a bit harsh don't you think?" he asked.

"What if I would've picked one of them, would you like them to rub it in your face before I got to talk to you?" you countered.

"No..... I'd hate that honestly" he said glancing over at you.

"Exactly, so please be thoughtful of the others, knowing that I'll be yours forever" you said stopping and looking up at him.

"I will...... I promise Chibi-chan" he said leaning down and kissing your cheek.

"You missed"

"My apologies" he said with a half smile before leaning in and planting his lips against yours in a sweet kiss.

"Now lets go, I'm already super late and now I'm showing up with the enemy, this is going to be rough" you said shaking your head. When you got to the gym door you dropped Kuroo's hand and opened the door. The team was running receiving drills, Ukai slapping the ball down over the net at them at different speeds and angles.

"Go sit on the bench" you instructed and headed towards the court. He listened but you could tell he would rather be out there practicing.

"Hinata bring your arms in closer, like this" you said gesturing from the side of the court.

"Like this?" he asked even though he was startled by your voice.

"Much better" you said with a thumbs up.

"Actually if you would bring your elbows in closer it would help it go more up rather than out" Kuroo said as he suddenly appeared beside you. He walked out towards Hinata and adjusted his arms and then stood beside him to show him the motion.

"Let's take a break for a second, get some water" Ukai said annoyed as he got down and walked over towards the two of you.

"Hey Mr Ukai" Kuroo said with a goofy smile as the annoyed looking blonde walked over.

"I didn't expect to see you today" Ukai said only looking at you.

"Yea I honestly should've tried sleeping in, but when I got home I was interrogated pretty harshly so I couldn't really sleep much" you said with a light chuckle.

"Yea I couldn't sleep much either, also explains why they keep looking at me so crazily today" he said shaking his head.

"Sorry about that" you laughed.

"That's okay, you want to also explain to me why our competition is in here, one week before we face them?" he asked slightly more serious.

"He sort of just showed up at my house this morning and then begged to come." You said awkwardly.

"I can honestly help" Kuroo offered.

"Wouldn't that be bad for your team?" Ukai asked looking at him.

"No, we want to win because we're the best, so helping you guys improve just means a better game for us" Kuroo said with a cocky smile.

"If you say so kid" he said before looking back at you. "If you need to rest today you can" he offered, his hand reaching out and lightly running down your arm, you could feel Kuroo tense up beside you.

"I'm really okay, already missed a few days and need to get these boys ready for the fight of our lives" you said trying to reassure him.

"Plus I'll keep an eye on her and if she starts looking tired I'll have her go sit down" Kuroo said putting on a smile and resting his forearm on your head like an arm rest.

"If you need anything Princess just let me know" he said turning to walk away.

"Princess huh? That's cute, that's what my dad calls my sister" he teased.

"That's nice for them but y/n likes it when I call her that in bed, little bit different" Ukai said looking over his shoulder, he winked at you and walked off.

"I don't like that guy" Kuroo said angrily under his breath.

"Well you started it" you said looking up at him annoyed.

He eventually got past it and helped you with training the guys through practice. He was actually very helpful and everyone took nicely to him other than Tsukki which was no surprise.

"Tsukki-dude watch your hands, tip them back more for a one touch on hits like that" Kuroo said trying to help him.

"Don't call me that, and why are you even here?" he asked rudely.

Kuroo held back on his instructions after that or he would whisper them to you so you could help Tsukki. When practice ended everyone started cleaning up, even Kuroo. You were going into the equipment closet to grab a broom when the door closed behind you and left you in the dark.

"Why did you leave and not say anything?" a familiar voice asked. You stepped closer to the voice and confirmed with what little light there was, that it was the angry blonde you had come to like.

"I just needed to get away for a few days is all, had a lot on my mind" you explained.

"But why didn't you tell anyone, and why did you take Ukai?" he asked, the anger in his voice more evident.

"I needed to see if there was something there" you answered honestly.

"And?" he asked.

"There was, but it also made me realize my feelings for another are much more" you said tentatively.

"Kuroo?" he asked, his jaw tense.

"Yes, I'm sorry" you said lightly reaching out to him.

"Tsk" he said smacking your hand away. "I should've known it meant nothing to you" he said before flinging the door open and quickly running off.

"Tsukki wait!" You called after him but his long legs carried him away leaving you there, everyone's eyes staring at you and your hand stinging from his touch.

"Damnit" you hissed.
