《Oh Captain My Captain! (Haikyuu)》Chapter 16

It was the morning you were supposed to leave for the training camp. Noya and Tanaka had come over the night before knowing you were almost impossible to wake in the morning and the whole team wanted you to ride with them to Tokyo.
After several minutes of the boys violently shaking you, you finally got out of bed rubbing the sleep from your eyes.
"I'm up, I'm up" you said yawning.
"Good we need to be leaving in a few minutes" Noya said, he was extremely excited for the camp and you could tell by his actions. He was normally very peppy and outgoing, but his energy was shakier and quieter.
Throwing your hair into a quick set of space buns, you slid on sweats and an oversized shirt along with your sneakers and were ready to go. The three of you set off towards the school grounds to catch the bus with the team. Almost everyone was there when you guys arrived, Hinata quickly came over grabbing your bag.
"Here I've got this for you y/n!" he said as he slid the strap off your shoulder and started to carry it towards the bus.
"Thank you Shoyo, that's very sweet!" you gave him a quick peck on the cheek, making sparkles appear in his eyes.
"Will you sit with me on the bus??" he asked excitedly.
"No, she is going to sit with me!" Noya said defensively jumping in between you two.
"Actually, I'm going to sit with..." you paused looking at all of your options "Tsukki" you said.
"But why?" Tanaka asked appalled. Laughing at his comment you stepped into the bus quickly locating Tsukki and sitting next to him.
"What are you doing?" his face one of repulsion.
"I'm sitting here, I really don't think those glasses are working for you because your obviously blind." You teased.
"Tch" he turned away, putting his headphones on and resting his head against the window. You couldn't help but laugh at his rude expression. Bundling up your jacket you laid it in his lap, raising his arm you laid your head down, placing his hand back down on your side. His eyes widened at your movements, but he kept his gaze out the window, not wanting you to see the blush on his cheeks.
The trip to Tokyo was long and boring so you took a nap on Tsukki. He worked hard not to wake you but caught himself gently stroking your side as he watched you sleep. As much as he pretended to hate everyone, he really liked his team and enjoyed having you around.
The bus hit a hard bump waking you up, sitting up you stretched and smiled at Tsukki. "Thank you for letting me sleep on you. You should come over for a slumber party sometime" you teased giving him a wink. He glared at you rolling his eyes. "Will you stop acting like you don't like me? I saw how red your face got when you saw me nearly naked. Do you wanna see what was under that towel?"

"Not like there is much to see" he chuckled.
"You want to bet?" you playfully started sliding your shirt up your stomach. His face flushed and he reached over grabbing your shirt pulling it back down.
"Your just as dumb as Kageyama" he said his face returning to a glare.
"But I'm more fun" you teased batting your eyes at him. You stood up from your seat moving towards the back of the bus where Daichi was.
"DAMNIT Y/N SIT DOWN, THIS BUS IS STILL MOVING" Ukai yelled.
"Im working on it!" you laughed plopping down in Daichi's lap. He continued to glare at you, so you gave him a flirty smile.
Daichi was sitting with Suga, you turned in his lap facing the side that Suga was on. "How much longer till we're there?" you asked.
"Should only be a few minutes. Are you excited to see Kuroo and kenma?" Suga asked. You could feel Daichi stiffen at the name of Nekoma's Captain.
"I'm excited to see everyone, Kenma made me bring my game system so we could play together. I'm also really looking forward to meeting these other teams, I think we can learn a lot from this. Hopefully that is." You explained.
"And what about Kuroo?" Suga teased. He knew about you and Daichi but loved to mess with you about it, as sweet as he seems he sure has a meddling side.
"Awe Suga are you jealous? I already told you that my mom was fine with us hooking up as long as you continue to bake for her. Plus, id like to see if the curtains match the drapes" you said wiggling your eyebrows.
"I don't think Daichi would appreciate that" he laughed. Turning your head you looked Daichi in the eye smiling.
"Oh, I think he would like it as long as he could join" you bit your lip seeing the very handsome smirk appear on Daichi's face. Suga's was bright red as he watched the two of you say some very naughty things with only your eyes.
"Get a room" Suga teased.
"Were here" Coach Ukai called from the front as the bus pulled to a stop. Jumping up from Daichi's lap you ran to the front of the bus, a few of the Nekoma boys were waiting outside to greet you guys.
"Ken-Ken!!" You yelled running up and hugging Kenma. "I missed you" you planted a kiss on his forehead.
"I missed you to kitten...." He said as nearly a whisper.
"Do I also get a running hug and a kiss?" Kuroo teased stepping from behind Kenma.
"No but you can carry my bag and give me a piggyback inside! Plus if your nice ill cuddle you later, maybe slip in a kiss or two then" you teased.

He did not look very amused at your response. "Which bag?" he questioned motioning to the several being unloaded from the bus.
"The (f/c) with the volleyball keychain" you pointed. He went to grab your bag and the crouched down in front of you so you could jump onto his back. He escorted the whole team inside to the rooms everyone would be sleeping in.
"Chibi-chan seeing as your not really on the team, just more of a welcomed guest. You can choose to either sleep with the managers, with your schools coach or with us boys." Kuroo explained as he let you down from his back.
"Well seeing as all my favorite cuddle buddies will be in here, ill choose here for now" you said taking your bag from him and dropping it on one of the sleeping mats.
He smiled and reached for your hand "Come on I want to introduce you to someone, I think you'll like them". He led you down to the gym, walking in the sound of sneakers squeaking and names being called out overwhelmed your senses. The room was filled with boys, far too many to count, you were guessing there was maybe six or so teams here.
Your eyes were drawn to the nearest court where an overly excited spikey haired guy kept screaming and slamming the ball onto his opponent's side with very powerful spikes. The woosh of air coming from the spiked balls was exhilarating. Before you knew it you had dropped Kuroo's hand running onto the court to receive his next spike. The other team knew they couldn't get to it so didn't even try, running out you planted your feet into position, dropping your arms down you received the ball perfectly. The spikey haired guy's eyes lit up seeing the smile plastered across your face. Everyone on the court wasn't sure what was happening but quickly went into action with the ball, spiking it back onto the other side where it was received.
"Let's see if you can do that again baby" the golden eyed boy yelled. He jumped up ready to spike it down at you once again. You took note of his form, he really could jump rather high and the strength with which he hit the ball was amazing. When he hit the ball it came barreling towards the right of you. There wasn't enough time to adjust behind it, so you decided to dig it up, diving down bumping it upwards with your fist before it hit the ground. The ball went flying towards the net and he swatted it down onto your side, scoring the point. You rolled over onto your back propping yourself up onto your elbows.
He ducked under the net jogging over to you extending his hand to help you up. Taking his hand you stood up, adjusting your sweats that had sunk a bit low revealing your hips.
"Are you okay baby owl?" he asked smiling sweetly.
"Baby owl? That's a new name for sure, and yes I'm fine. Could've taken it easier on me though seeing as I don't play volleyball." You laughed.
"What do you mean you don't play? 90% of the guys here wouldn't have been able to receive that and you did twice" his voice was filled with confusion.
"I've really only played a few times with friends" you scratched the back of your neck in embarrassment.
"This is actually who I wanted you to meet y/n" Kuroo said walking up resting his hand on your lower back. "This is Bokuto Koutarou, he is the Captain of Fukurodani. The dark haired one over there is Akaashi Keiji and he is the Co-Captain of the team."
"Oh, its nice to put a face with a name. Fourth best Ace in the Nation, right? That's rather impressive" you smiled up at him. His face had a light dusting of pink.
"Still not top three though" Akaashi joked as he walked up beside you. Bokuto's face instantly dropped and his hair seemed to droop.
"Y/n right? We've heard a lot about you" he took your hand in his kissing your knuckles. "I'm Akaashi but you can call me Keiji or anything you'd like" he gave an adorable half smile.
"Will you get off of her, that's my baby owl. No touchy!!" Bokuto said as he swatted away Akaashi's hand.
"Do I have really big eyes or something? Why do you keep calling me an owl?" you asked.
"Oh well, Nekoma are the cats, Karasuno are the crows, and we are known as the owls" he shrugged. "And since I'm going to make you mine, decided that name was fitting. Plus, you do have beautiful big eyes" he smirked running his fingers through his hair.
"You are awfully bold, it won't be so easy to make me only yours" you teased.
"That's okay I'm persistent! Now come watch me win this practice match" he grabbed your hand leading you to the bench by the side of the court. Kuroo and Akaashi stood there shaking their heads laughing.
