After following my gut instincts for a portion of my life, I ended up finding myself outside and onto one of the classes rooftop ledges.
The class seemed empty, possibly because the class wasn't in session that day of the week. Though, I didn't question it any further than that.
And as suspicious as this part of the school was, there was actually no hidden skeletons...
I laid down, my body and back against the roof's ledge. I enjoyed the sky, and the briskful winds brushing against my skin.
It was a nice feeling.
For all the excitement that happened earlier today, it was a much needed relaxation.
Soon enough though, my body got extra comfortable, and I started to drift off to sleep.
.
.
.
.
.
"Y/N..??"
.
.
.
.
"..seriously, Y/N? Did you actually fall asleep?"
.
.
.
.
.
"Oh.... for fuck-- Y/N!!"
I groggily open my eyes, getting blinded by the incoming sunlight. I let out a low groan and was about to turn over, just to remember I was in a pretty dangerous spot.
I decided to look over to where I thought the voice was coming from, only to find Luca on the ground floor.
Her attire was different from usual, she wore more loose clothing. And so did the other passing students by her.
She must of just gotten out of class for her break...
And- because of her outbursts, some of her classmates kept staring at me with a bit of a shockful expression.
I mean- it's not everyday you see people resting on rooftops...
Once she noticed my gaze on her, she starts to grin.
"Okay, good. You're awake now..!" Luca yells out, "How about you come down?? I don't really want to keep yelling."
I let out a yawn before replying.
"Right...! Hold up."
I sat up, stretching my limbs a little-- and hearing my joints pop.
Ah- yep. fuck- that's what I get for laying down weirdly--

Cautiously I shifted my body and allowed my legs to hang over the edge. And after steadying myself a bit, I hopped down onto the grass patch below.
As I hit the ground I heard a bit of a thud, and noticed a bit of dirt spring from the earth beneath me. Once I got my normal balance back, I walked over and up to a patiently waiting Luca.
"Did you need something?" I ask her curiously.
"Oh? Me? No. Nothing at all actually, I was just surprised to see you here." She went onto saying, "..and surprised to see you sleeping."
"My teacher gave us a free period until the afternoon, I can sleep wherever I want in that time." I brought up.
Luca let out a bit of a laugh.
"I guess old habits dont die..." She continued to smile, "So, how long were you up there for?"
"No clue..." I shrugged, taking a glance at the sky, "But maybe it's been a few hours? Staring at the sun's placement and all..."
My eyes darted over to where the sun was prior in my memories.
...last time I checked, the sun was placed back there...
I then moved my hand up and held it out to the sky, tucking my thumb to rest in my palm. I then estimated the time that passed.
"...yeah, a little over two an a half hours" I mutter, lowering my hand back down to my side.
Luca blinks at me.
"You know too many fancy tricks..."
"I actually only learned that recently from watching these 'how to beat' videos on youtube..." I told her, making a sudden idea pop into my head, "..hmm, imagine a dream manhunt version of that."
Luca looked at me a bit strangely.
"Uhh- in any case-- wait..."
She suddenly stopped talking and just stared at me.

I stared back at her.
"what..?"
Though, she didn't reply.
She just kept staring at me with an intense expression without saying a word-- or possibly breathing for that matter.
"...seriously- what??" I raised my voice a bit more.
"That isn't your hoodie..." Luca finally spoke up, pointing out a very noticeable fact.
"Oh- uh.. this? Yeah, it's Tom's--"
At the mention of his name, Luca's eyes seemed to sparkle.
"He lent you his hoodie? What for? Because you were cold? and he was being a gentlemen, asking if you were cold?"
"...Hell no- I would've probably punched him if he was doing something so cheesy"
Oh god- she's thinking like a romance novelist...
"You wouldn't punch him, you like him too much!" Luca states to me.
Didn't stop me from jumping him though-
"So how did you get the hoodie?" Luca starts to interrogate me.
I pondered for a moment, unsure if I should tell her.
Negatives... she'd probably freak out and shout from the top of her lungs-- Positives...
.
.
.
She's my friend?
I closed the distance between me and Luca a bit.
"..Alright, what I'm about to tell you is going to probably crash your systems. But whatever you do- don't scream too loud." I tell her in a warning tone.
Luca started to look at me strangely again.
"Oh god.. you- you didn't steal it, did you?"
"No I did not..!"
"Okay, okay... just making sure..." She giggles, "I'm mentally prepared! Tell me."
And so- I attempted to give her a brief explanation about why I was in possession of one of Tommy's hoodies- which then turned into a rant half way thorough.
After finishing my explanation Luca seemed a little... what's the word? stunned? Her reaction was just pure gold. And then, she finally decided to speak out with her goldfish expression---
"..You slept together!?"
I got startled at her sudden outburst and ended up clamping a hand over her mouth, shutting her up before she says any more out of context things.
"Hey..! Not so loud...! And DO NOT phrase it like that!" I glared at her, waiting a bit before I removed the hand covering her mouth, "We slept BY eachother, he fell asleep on my shoulder and I slept sitting up on the couch."
I let out a sigh, getting a little distance between us.
"Literally, if anyone was nearby.... Things would've gone so wrong. You're lucky no one is near by..." I grumbled, "Be mindful of what you say in the future..."
"I'm sorry...! I'm just so shocked..." She apologizes, "Mans literally gave you his hoodie as a change of clothes..."
She then randomly starts to hum, seeming to be thinking more on the information I told her.
Then suddenly, she started to spazz-- but calmed down and gained composure seemingly just as fast.
"..As much as I would love to hear about what else happened that night, I did promise to meet some other friends at the cafeteria." Luca says to me, "..and you should be heading back to class, your break's almost over."
"Really?" I then look out my phone to check the time to see that she was indeed correct about my shortage of time, "shi- well, thanks for stopping by to chat. I'll call you after to have a ted talk"
She then starts beaming.
"Can't wait..!" Luca lets out a gleeful cheer, "Bye wifey!"
"pft-- yeah, bye other wife"
And with that, I start walking away.
"Other..??!" She shouts at me, betrayal obviously in her voice, "Y/N..!!"
As I continued to walk back to my class, I couldn't help but cackle.
She should know by now I don't really have any other friends--
She is my one and only platonical wife and that's that ^^
