I walked around, cleaning my room for the first time in a while.

Nothing like dusting the shelves or vacuuming-- for now at least... But currently I was just picking up things off the ground and putting laundry away.

I let out a sigh.

"I'm not even sure what to do today... I'm so lost"

"Why are you always so bored?" Tommy's voice questioned from the other line.

Tommy and I were in a call with one another, just casually talking about- well... god knows what while I cleaned.

And- having him around has made me finish faster than I usually would. Normally I'd wait a few hours before doing it- but talking with him made me want to multi-task (maybe just for the sake of it).

I let out an unsure hum as a response.

"I just get bored easily. My attention span can be really low if i'm not hearing anything interesting" I answered him. It doesn't happen too often- at least not as much as it use to. "And- uhh... don't worry Tommy. You are one of the interesting people"

"I already knew that" He confidently said to me.

I rolled my eyes upon hearing his confidently smug tone.

"Well look at you... Mr. Innit upgraded to Mr. Onnit. You're getting me more and more everyday"

"And that's a good thing?"

"Pft- I mean... good point"

The two of us continued our chatter as I continued to clean and organize my room into a cleaner state. But, while doing this... I start noticing the little flaws and incontinences of my room.

Nothing too serious stuck out to me at first, but the more the problems came up, I started to get a little confused... and slightly worried.

"...where the fuck?" I ended up mumbling out, digging around my drawers.

"Hmm? What's up?" Tommy questioned.

"Nah... nothing much-" I replied to him, "it's just... I think I'm misplacing things again..?"

"Misplaced?" His tone of voice made him seemed confused, which- I don't blame him. The guy knows nothing about what has been happening to me.

"Yeah- weird shit has been happening lately and I don't know why." I explained to him, "I think I'm either being extremely forgetful or my parents have been snooping in my room and forget to place my stuff back in the right places..."

I closed my drawers and started working on making my bed.

"or maybe- it was a ghost...." Tommy theorized.

A smile formed on my lips.

"ha- ha- very funny... But, let's be logical for once." I say to him, "Unless the ghost is Casper, I'm committing arson and running for the hills"

"Hey, you should totally let me come over to your place." Tommy ends up suggesting to me, his tone more joking than anything, "I know a thing or two about busting ghosts"

I paused for a moment.

"You're a ghost buster...?"

"Me and Tubbo had our days" Tommy responded.

"Okay. Then... I'll take you up on your offer." I say, fluffing my pillows, "How does sometime around six sound?"

There was a long string of silence. I awaited for his response, setting up my bed as a distraction in order to help me cope with waiting.

'Why did I even offer anyways?' I asked myself mentally, 'there's no reason. But I still would like for him to come over.... He knows my address already, but- y'know... He doesn't have to show up.'

"wait- huh?" Tommy says, finally processing what I had said.

"Uhh- well... It's, like, the only time you can come over... And plus, if you want... I think my parents can drop you off..." I tell him.

I don't even know why I'm still trying. There's no reason for him to come over at 6. Especially at 6. He could come over earlier... but maybe it's because I want to clean the house first before he gets here....

...if he does decide to show up, that is.

"...So- six, right?" Tommy spoke up.

"Yeah- yeah" I confirmed.

"Alright." Tommy says, "See you then, Y/N"

"I- uhh... yeah. cya..." I muttered out.

As soon as I hung up with him, I literally flopped face first onto my newly made bed.

'What the fuck have I just gotten myself into' I asked myself.

By all means- I like hanging out with Tom. But I never would've thought that he'd be over and at my house--- especially in these times.

The situation made me a little... anxcious? Like- fuck. I'm about to have a popular streamer over at my house. An annoyingly cute guy who millions of people watch.

How did I get here? How did me fighting Dream lead to his?

I contemplated for the longest time about what to do.

Like- should I clean the house more? should I make something to eat for the two of us? should I change into something.... cuter?

Oh god- I think I might throw up. Am I actually thinking that I could be cute to him?

Well... Never thought I'd see the day... But- I must call the one person who knows how to be and look cute.

I went back on my phone again and scrolled down in my contacts to find the girl that would help me with all my problems.

As soon as I pressed the dial button, the ring sounded out through my room. I waited patiently- and after a few seconds, Luca answered.

"Hel-"

"LUCA. HELP. ME."

"OWW-- What?? Why are you yelling? My ears, Y/N..." Luca started to whine, dropping her phone back onto her bed, allowing me too see her bedroom ceiling.

"Oh shit- sorry-- but... please. Help me." I ask of her.

"What happened? What did you do?" She questions me, a little worried.

"So- I invited Tommy over to my house as a joke- right?" I say.

Her eyes widen and her mouth dropped, curving into a smile shortly after.

"Oh shit-" Luca began to laugh, "Okay, okay... I think I get it now..."

"Yeahh..." I murmured, "Anyways... You have any advice on clothes to wear?"

There was a long pause. Luca just stared at me, pretty dumbfounded on my question.

"...You're getting clothes advice- from me?"

"You wear more normal clothes than me. And- out of the two of us... I was more of a street rat." I said, getting up from my bed and walking over to my drawers, "Luca- just tell me what I should wear"

"I mean- I'll try, but no guaranteed that my advice will help..." Luca mutters out.

I placed my phone against the wall to face me, then I started to rummage through my drawers and displaying different outfits to Luca.

She would always shrug or say a simple 'maybe' until I went onto the next piece of clothing.

And after about 5 minutes straight of doing this, Luca lets out a pretty loud, long, and seemingly annoyed groan.

"Y/N. I think he'll find you cute in whatever you wear" Luca stated, "Literally just choose something!"

"wait- what?"

"You're trying to pick an outfit that will make you seem more cuter to Tommy, right?" She questions, "It's obvious to see... And it's unlike you."

She then let out a bit of a laugh.

"Guess you really do like him a lot..."

"Bruv, please- just help me pick an outfit..."

Luca then shrugs once more, then proceeding to lean back into her chair.

"Pick any outfit- hell... even that weird dinosaur costume you have in your hallway closet that I got as a joke will be fine." Shorty after she lets out a scoff.

"Not wearing that-- not again--" I muttered out, spitting at the bitter memory.

The fact I lost that bet still haunts me to this day...

I had to go out in public and run about, asking people-- specifically boomers- if they could give me a hug. The reason being- until a boomer gave me a hug while I was wearing the costume, I would have to keep it on.

The only way I'd be able to get out of it that day was if I got a hug.... and it took the entire fucking day to find a reliable boomer over the age of 70 to actually hug the mentally depressed dinosaur roaming the streets.

Thank you Mr. Edmens. You were a very pog man.

"Uhh... You think I should wear a skirt or dress?" I asked her.

Luca's eyes widened and look petrified.

"Girly clothing? Are you really my Y/N??"

"What?? It's not like I haven't worn them before" I talked back, slightly annoyed at her surprised expression.

"I've never seen you in them... This just sounds like false news" She mumbled.

"You'll soon see that the false news is actually true, when I reveal the very thing you thought was impossible" I tell her, grabbing a dress and hoodie to go with it. Then, I walked out of my phone cameras frame, "Hold up"

I then started to change out of my current clothes and put the skirt and top, as well as a pair of socks.

Shortly after, I walked back in front of my phone camera, showing Luca the paired outfit I had chosen to wear.

"So, does this look okay?" I asked her, feeling a little stupid in the outfit.

She stared at me for a while, just overlooking the outfit.

"Oh wow"

I raised an eyebrow.

"What? is it that bad?"

'Knew skirts weren't my thing.'

Luca shook her head.

"Huh? no, it's just-- okay. No homo, but I'd go on a date with you if you were wearing that"

"pftt-- So, good? I look good?" I ask.

Luca smiles and nods.

"Tom Simons is a lucky man" She said to me, "You should wear things like that more often"

"Uhh... no. Never. Nay- nay- no fucking way. I'll only wear things like this at home and never in public. People in my area are weird." I uttered out.

Upon hearing my words, Luca's expression shifted into a contempt one.

"Yeah, weird. But not weird to try and sneak a peek on what's up there. Your neighbors aren't crack addicts, right?"

I shrugged and picked up my phone.

"Party hogs, but not crack addicts--- actually... I'm not really sure. But- maybe it's just them having too big of a hangover whenever I pass by their houses..."

"Oh my goodness..." Luca mutters out, surprised a bit at my words.

Her expression then changed once more, seeming to remember something, and opened her mouth to speak.

"Uh... anyways. I also wanted to mention-"

"Y/N..!"

Silence lingered in the air for a moment.

"--was that your dad?" Luca asks me.

"uh- yeah. Yeah it was." I answered, "Hold on, I'll see what he wants"

With my phone in hand, I left my room. I locked the door behind me and I walked to the lounge to see my dad.

"Yeah, dad?" I replied to his previous calling.

My dad eyes me up, seeing my outfit and his face looked extremely confused.

"...why are you so dressed up? Are you going out soon?"

"Uh-- no. I invited a friend over-- that's okay with you, right?"

I completely forgot to ask him if it was alright to have a friend over...

"Who's coming over?"

"Uhh--"

"Tommy!!-- erm. Tom!" Luca exclaimed from the other side of the line.

"WHa-"

"Was that Luca?" My dad questioned. After I gave him a nod as his answer, he then started to grin a bit, "Hello, other daughter!"

"Hello, other father!" Luca greeted back.

"Well... Okay. Ah... I'm fine with that- as long as you and him don't do anything too regrettable." My dad tells me.

I nodded at him, turning around to try and leave to my room, but my dad called my name again.

"Also, I wanted to ask if you could head to the store real quick? Me and your mother have to go to work soon- and you know how the drive is..."

The store..?

"Hmm? What do we need?" I asked, walking back over to him.

"Just some bread- maybe about 2 loafs?" He says, handing me a few paper notes.

"Yeah- yeah. I can do that." I took the notes from him and instantly realized what he was implying, "wait- right now?"

"Yes. If you could."

I let out a sigh.

"..alright."

After walking over to the front door and finding my shoes I remembered leaving there, I began to put them on.

"You have the key- right?" My dad asks.

"Yeah- yeah. I have the copy key on me" I replied, finally getting on the shoes.

Taking a stand, I turned to my father.

"I'm going now" I announced.

"Alright- alright. See you in the morning, Y/N" He smiles at me.

"Adios" I salute.

I opened the front door and closed it upon leaving the house. I stood still for a moment, putting the spare mask I had tucked away in my phone case. (managed to do it once and now I do it because of plot convenience)

"Wow, you're a wizard too?" Luca questions, "You never cease to amaze me"

"Erm- not a wizard. Just resourceful." I responded with, "Anyways, want to stay on call with me while I go to the store?"

Luca nods and starts to cheer.

"Yeahhh! Outside interaction!!"

After Luca's response to me, I started walking out of the gates to my house.

"So- uh.. What were you going to say before my dad interrupted?" I asked, still curious about her earlier unspoken words.

"Oh- erm... I forgot!" She ends up giving me a goofy smile.

"Dang. And here I thought my memory was the one becoming more and more shit." I commented.

"Hmm?"

"Things in my room keep moving around without my knowledge." I say, "...Is that normal?"

Luca gave me a concerned look.

"Uh-- no. No it's not." She muttered, "Did you ask your parents if they've been in your room at all to clean?"

"I'd never get a straight answer out of my mum- and I never get anything out of dad by asking directly. Plus- he'd play the whole 'maybe I was or maybe I wasn't' game with me." I explained to her, "Conversations with them would go no where"

"Well... let's just hope it was them. Wouldn't want one of those scary story situations where there's a homeless guy living in your walls" Luca jokingly said.

"Okay- shut up. Now you're making me worried." I sternly told her.

I took the shortcut through Preston Park. It was a simple and nice walk. Though, the look from others as I passed by was a little weird. They stared at me- maybe because of the kind of clothes I was wearing in this type of season.

Which reminded me- I was walking around in the outside world wearing a dress.

I fucking hate my life man.
