《The Devil Wears Gucci {Taehyung X Reader FF}》☆Chapter 31☆

Yesterday was a fun night. Taehyung's family were really nice to both of you and Taehyung's father even made some marriage jokes here and there. Although Taehyung turned them down, saying you've only been dating for a few weeks. That didn't stop your dreams from running wild.
You had a dream about Taehyung proposing to you. His hair brushed back revealing his forehead, he wore a nice suit and you were supposedly going on a restaurant date but decided to stop by the park.
You both walked to an empty but beautiful spot, and just as the sun was setting, he knelt down on knee and took out a ring. "Will you marry me?"
You were so shocked, you woke yourself up and have been thinking about it ever since. You finally decided to get up from bed and walk to the kitchen to make some breakfast.
Taehyung still slept on the couch since Jungkook was taking his sweet time moving out. But you didn't mind, you'd probably miss him a lot once he's gone. Even though he'll just be one floor away.
You almost jumped when you saw Taehyung in the kitchen, you thought he'd still be asleep.
"Hey, you ruined the surprise." He said when he noticed your appearance.
"Aw, were you making me breakfast?" You asked and he nodded with a look of disappointment on his face.
"Well it's your fault you woke me up then." You joked around.
"Was I being noisy?" He asked while raising an eyebrow.
"Nope. You just appeared in my dreams and scared me enough to wake me up."
"Did I look like that one time you tried scaring me with the masks?" Taehyung asked with an eye roll.
"Hey! You should remember why that even happened." You put your hands across your chest.
"Oh I remember." He smirked, "It was because I couldn't lay my eyes off of you." He carried you and placed you on top of the counter. Your face turned as red as a tomato.
"That was not the reason!"
"You were just as flustered as you are right now. I remember clearly. The only difference is that this time, I can do this." He put his hand under your chin and inched closer until your lips connected with his. However, he didn't pull away this time like he usually does. The kiss just became deeper and you felt his tongue fight for access. He squeezed your thigh, forcing your mouth open.
You let out a low moan causing him to smirk against your lips. He carried you to the couch and placed you softly before hovering over you. He unbuttoned the first few buttons from your pajamas and placed some kisses onto your neck, the kisses soon turned into bites. You felt butterflies in your stomach. You pushed him away from you, making him confused.

"Do you not like that?" He asked, "I'm sorry."
You got up from the couch, but right as he was about to get up too, you pushed him back. "Sit down." You commanded and so he did.
"I do like it, but I should have a turn too. Don't you think?" You said as you straddled him. He grinned at you. "You can have a turn."
You heard a door open and that's when you remembered you both weren't alone in the apartment. "I'm so sorry! Go on. I'll just find some bleach for my eyes." Jungkook said as he left the house.
You both looked at each other awkwardly then laughed. "He always ruins the mood, doesn't he?" You asked. The smell of something burning caught both of your attention.
"I forgot about the breakfast!" Taehyung yelled as he got up quickly and ran to the kitchen. You followed him there. He threw away the burned food and just took out a cereal box and some milk. "Want some?"
"Sure!" You said as you helped him carry the bowls and box to the dining table.
"So what did you dream about?" He asked while taking a bite.
Your face turned into a bright shade of red as you twirled a part of your hair around your finger, "You proposed to me."
He spat out the milk from his mouth. "I'm so sorry!" He went to get some tissues to clean up his mess. You laughed at his cute reaction.
"What is it, baby? Do you not want to marry your first love?" You teased him. His face turned into an even darker shade of red than it already was. He avoided eye contact for the rest of breakfast, which made you want to laugh, he's really cute when he's shy.

After breakfast, you went to work. Taehyung said he'd come later on since his shoots weren't until the afternoon. All day you thought about your dream and it didn't fail to make your heart flutter every single time. But then another thought took over your mind, Taehyung's family. He was able to confront his family, why can't you?
And so you decided, it was time.
During Taehyung's shoot, your family was all you could think about- well up until he winked at you. "I'm guessing my ship sailed after all." Namjoon smiled while looking at you.
"What?" You asked, he walked away without replying but you could see the smirk plastered across his face.

You picked up your phone between shoots to text Jimin, you asked him if he still had your parents' contact information, after answering a few of his concerned questions, he finally sent their information to you. Jimin has been trying to convince you to visit your parents for a while now, he wasn't cool with them either, but he didn't like seeing you stress over them.
You stared at the number for a while, not fully processing what you were looking at. Were you really going forward with this?
"Y/n?" Taehyung lifted your chin with his index finger to look at him, you didn't realize how focused you were on your phone. "Are you ok?"
You nodded. He smiled but you knew he could see straight through you.
"Fine, it's just I got inspired by you to finally give my parents a chance." You said. His eyes widened, "Really? I'm glad you finally feel ready."
"Not exactly ready, but baby steps, right?"
He nodded as he played with your hair softly. "Right."
"Are you done with all of your photoshoots?" You asked. "We could go out for lunch or do something together if you'd like."
"Is that even a question?" Taehyung smiled, "I actually have a place in mind."

.
.
"An art cafe? I've never seen one before."
"I've always wanted to come to one of these for a date." Taehyung said, his face turning into a light shade of pink, "You get to order drinks and snacks while you paint or draw! Want to try?"
"Of course!" You replied, seeing him excited over something was a scene you didn't know you needed in your life up until now.
You were escorted to a table by the waiter while Taehyung went to order the canvas and drinks. The cafe's walls were covered by paintings of other customers. You thought about displaying your painting there too.
"So I got us one canvas, I thought it would be cute to divide the painting in half and we both get to paint a side. We could draw two seasons maybe? You could do summer while I do winter, that way we both get to paint something different but they're still connected." Taehyung said, disturbing your train of thoughts.
"But if you'd prefer your own canvas, I can go-"
"Nope, let's draw one together." You smiled, causing him to beam at you and sit excitedly.
After finishing the sketch of both seasons, you got up to get the paint. The cafe had color tubes displayed across the wall, each color was categorized with other colors similar to it. You picked up the warm tones like red, orange and yellow. Meanwhile, Taehyung went to look for whites and blues.
You started painting your side while Taehyung was still being picky over which shade to paint with first.
"Just use the lightest first then go on to the darker ones." You said.
"No, I can't make any rash decisions." Taehyung said, his eyes glued to the two shades of blue on his palette.
You couldn't handle his indecision any longer so you took a clean brush, dipped it in the lighter blue then painted a small part of his side of the painting.
"No, Y/n! How could you!" Taehyung pouted, "Actually, that does look good. Still not forgiving you though." He said before painting a blue stroke on your forearm.
"Hey!" You laughed then painted an orange stroke on his nose.
"Y/n, I'll kill you." He laughed as he positioned his brush across his face for defense.
"Fine, I'll stop." You said. Just as he removed the brush away from his face, you drew another stroke along his jawline.
"That's it!" He said while tackling you and holding both of your hands in his large fist- making you defenseless. He started writing something on your forehead as you squirmed to escape his grip, laughed non-stop and asked for forgiveness.
He finally let go after he finished writing, "That's what you get for messing with me." He went back to painting as you took out your phone's front camera to check what he drew on your face. You expected something inappropriate or silly, but all you found was 'Taehyung's reason to live' written next to a small heart.
Your heart pounded against your chest and it was another reminder of how lucky you were to have found someone like him.
"I love you." You said, as you wiped the huge orange stroke on Taehyung's jawline. He grabbed your hand, kissed it and slid a silver ring on your finger. He then slid one on his finger. Couple rings.
"I love you more." He smiled.
