《The Devil Wears Gucci {Taehyung X Reader FF}》☆Chapter 21☆

"Break up??" You felt a lump form in your throat. "Why can't we just have a long-distance relationship? I promise I'll stay loyal-"
"Babe, I know you're loyal. I consider myself loyal as well...but that's not the problem. I don't know how long I'll be away and even then, I'll be very busy with my mom, I don't want you to get lonely." He sighed, "I'm only doing this because of past experience, we have to be realistic, long-distance relationships are hard to manage."
"They are." You frowned. "But I don't want to break up." Your eyes got teary.
"I promise this isn't what I want either." Hoseok said, "How about this: We break up, and whenever I'm back, if we're both single and still have feelings for each other, we can get back together. " He paused, "But don't wait for me. If you fall for anyone else...I'll accept it."
You nodded reluctantly. "I love you, Hoseok." the tears that have been forming over the past few minutes finally escaped. He wiped them away with his sleeves, then pulled you into a kiss.
"I love you, too."

You spent the next day feeling down and out of it during all of the shoots. Taehyung was home and you explained to Namjoon what happened and asked him to reschedule Taehyung's shoots.
"What's wrong, Noona?" Jungkook asked, again. It was already the afternoon, but you couldn't bring yourself to talk about it.
"I hate seeing you like this." He pouted. "You haven't talked to me all day, you can tell me anything, don't forget that."
Taehyung looked at you from the dining table waiting for an answer, he was just as concerned.
"Hoseok and I broke up..." You finally said those words, even though you still couldn't believe it yourself.

"What?" Jungkook asked, "But things were going well, weren't they?"
Taehyung's eyes widened.
"His mom is sick, so he's moving away for a while." You replied blankly.
"What??" Taehyung asked. You could see the sadness in his eyes.
Jungkook wrapped his arms around you, "I'm so sorry."
Taehyung turned off the laptop, put on his shoes and left. Jungkook gave you a questioning glance, and shrugged.
"I know what will cheer you up." He said, and pulled your arm to follow him.
He took you to an arcade, "Remember when we used to come here in High School?"
A smile appeared on your face, "Of course I do."
Jungkook took out a bag filled with coins. "Choose the first game."
You smirked and went to the one that had most memories. Mario Superbros.
"I knew you'd go for that!" He laughed. "Well, just a warning, I'm not going easy on you."
"You never did." You frowned, "But I have hope I'll win this time."
"Hope won't change anything." He smirked.
I knocked on Hoseok's door, for the third time, and finally someone opened the door. Hoseok looked terrible, he clearly hasn't gotten up from bed since the start of the day, he was in his bathrobe, his nose was stuffy and his eyes were red.
"Hobi, are you ok?" I asked.
For the first time ever, he replied to that question with a 'no'.
I entered his apartment and hugged him, he instantly hugged back, he definitely needed someone, and I chose to be that person.
"Why did you break up with her if you were gonna be this sad?"
"I love her, I don't want to hold her back." He said.
I sighed. Both of them were suffering, but I understood why he did what he did.

"Here are your car keys." I said, "Your car is downstairs, thank you for letting me use it." I smiled.
"My mom has a car, you can take care of it until I'm back." He said.
"Enough, Hoseok. I appreciate the help, but stop being so selfless. Look at what happens when you are."
"You're right." He lowered his gaze.
"Is there any way I can help you?" I asked.
"Take care of Y/n, I don't want her to be sad because of me."
I nodded, "But not before I take care of you first. Put on some clothes, let's get you some fresh air."
He smiled, "Ok."

I took Hoseok to a pathway we used to walk in a lot during high school, "So, what will you do with dancing?" I asked.
"Dance isn't something I'll ever give up," He smiled, "I already found several dance studios, I'll give pop-classes and maybe eventually work full time in my favorite one."
"I'm glad to hear that." I replied.
"What about you?" He asked, "How is your situation with Seokjin?"
"I uploaded the video I recorded yesterday and told my followers," I said, "I'm not planning to look at how it did at least for the next few days, I don't wanna get discouraged."
"Maybe you can also make a video for that song you wrote back in school." Hoseok suggested.
"Which one?"
"Winter Bear." He smiled, "It was my favorite one, but of course all the others were great too."
That compliment made me smile. Hoseok was the only person I ever told about my music passion, and I'm glad I did, he's always been supportive and gave me lots of constructive criticism.
"Hoseok, thank you for everything." I said.
"Thank you." He replied, "God, you're making me all sappy right now." He nudged my shoulder. "I'll keep in touch, I promise."
We were walking down a path when I noticed two familiar faces, Y/n and Jungkook. I just cheered Hoseok up, they can't see each other right now. Jungkook noticed right away and thought the same as I did, he quickly took Y/n by her hand and walked the opposite direction.
"I hate that you always win-"
Jungkook suddenly grabbed your hand and made you walk the other direction.
"We just walked there, why are we going back?" You asked.
"I think I dropped my...my earring." He said.
"I don't think you were wearing any."
"Really? That means I dropped them a while ago! Ugh!" He said, his tone exaggerated.
"Stop lying. I know that tone, Jungkook." You said, your arms crossed across your chest. "What is it? Are you avoiding someone?"
"Yeah," He admitted.
"Who?" You asked, curiously.
"Uh, it doesn't matter. So what were we talking about?" He changed the subject, but you just shrugged it off.
"Wait, do you hear that?" You asked. Jungkook furrowed his brows.
You followed the familiar voices, it was a dark and quiet part of the park, but your suspicions were confirmed. It was Kim Seokjin.
"Are those drugs?"

Sustentation: An Exsanguinate Novela
Kareem and Wesley are roommates who live entirely different lives. Kareem drifts through life with no goals or purpose besides finding his next drink of blood. Wesley is a devout Christian who seeks salvation for both he and Kareem. Both have their secrets and as the two are forced to spend more time together they learn more about each other and themselves. Together they come to qustion the meaning of power, Christianity, and how far the definition of humanity truly goes. Sustenation is the corner where nutrients meets addiction. Will Kareem and Wesley be able to separate the two? Note: I update my other fictions weekly, but I'm not sure what the schedule for this one will be. There's no real plan here. I just had an idea and decided to run with it. I usually plan excessively before I start a fiction, but I don't have a plan this time. It takes place in the same universe as the Exsanguinate fiction, but doesn't really have any links to the other books.

The Kiss of Two Moons
The last year is upon us. The world is ending, but you already knew that; everyone does. Spring has come, and the flowers have bloomed here in this small town with no name. Thousands of different colours now paint the field that had been coloured by frost alone just yesterday. The townsfolk have gathered by the field to celebrate the beginning of the last spring with so many smiling faces. Tears too. I can’t help but wonder whether the flowers will bloom again before the sky falls upon us. Others must be thinking the same. There are moments when the smiles fade and their eyes glaze over as they realize just how near to the end we are. They forget it again in moments. They make themselves forget. The children aren’t like that, though. They don’t seem to understand, or they’ve come to accept it in a way that their parents just can’t manage to. This one boy actually asked me why I was sad. I had to wonder whether he was actually aware that the world is ending, but it seemed wrong to mention it. I ended up just telling him that I was waiting for someone, and he scampered off, wearing a silly smile. I can’t help but feel jealous of him. The beginning of next spring; the day that the world ends. It seems so far away, yet so close. Wherever you are now, I have to ask, how are you spending your last spring? Did you get to see the flowers bloom? Did you smile? Did you cry?
