《Newt Scamander Imagines.》Shot.

The air was cold and heavy around you. Your chest ached, a sharp pain no one could ever describe with words. You let a out a shriek. It split through the air like an arrow flying towards a target. Or a bullet being fired at the man standing next to you. They thought he was armed. When in all actuality, he was reaching for his wand, which was inside his coat, to protect you. Unfortunately, the police man shot his gun before Newt could even pull it out of his coat. You knelt down beside him on the ground and pressed your hand over his wound. You could feel your hands shaking from the amount of pure anger in your body. Tears streamed down your cheeks faster than they ever had before. You looked at the three men who towered over you as they waited for something to happen. You stared at them for a moment before you let loose.
"WE'RE NOT ARMED YOU-" You couldn't find a heart-wrenching enough comment to express how furious you were.
"WHEN SOMEONE JUST SIMPLY REACHES INSIDE THEIR POCKET, YOU DO NOT SHOOT THEM YOU ABSOLUTE IDIOTS!" You screamed so loudly it hurt your throat. You could hear the ambulances in the distance. A police man stepped forward not even an inch, and you immediately stopped him.
"NO!" You continued. Snot was now dribbling from your nose. "You've done enough," You cried more calmly. You brought your wand out and waved it in the air, which sent both you, Newt, and his suitcase to Tina and Queenie's apartment. When you opened your eyes again, you were in the middle of their living room. You could hear them both talking in Queenie's room.
"TINAAAA!" You sobbed into Newt, who was still unconscious. You heard a light shriek, and then footsteps running to where you held Newt in your arms. He was much larger than you, but in the moment, he was weightless to you.

"Oh my god, what happened?" Tina shouted, who was the first one to arrive. Queenie followed.
"They shot him...they really did..." You bawled into his neck. You pulled away and lifted your hand off of his side and saw how drenched it was with your best friends blood.
"Oh god," Queenie added. She stumbled a bit before using her wand to bring forward a first-aid kit. Tina helped you let him carefully down on the floor. You took his coat off, then his vest, then buttoned down his button up.
"Oh thank god," You sighed when you realized the bullet had only hit him in the shoulder. You pressed two fingers under his jawline and felt his gentle, golden heart beating at a steady pace. Everything stopped in that moment. You thought you had lost him forever. You thought that he was gone, and you never said goodbye. But more importantly, you never told him that you loved him.
It was after Queenie had taken the bullet out and stitched up his wound, and now you were just holding him in your arms on the couch, studying his facial features.
"Queenie?" You looked up at her. "Why isn't he awake? If it was just a shoulder wound, then why did he pass out?" She smiled at you.
"He was afraid. Very afraid. Afraid that they would hurt you. After they shot him, he was so scared that he passed out," She was knitting a sweater as she said this, and it reminded you of your mother. There was a moment of silence when you looked down again.
"Kiss him," Queenie chimed in as she still smiled at you. You looked up.
"Wh...what?" You chuckled in disbelief.
"Oh, do it, honey!" She started. "He wants it just as much as you do,"

You draped your hand around his cheek and turned his face towards yours. You rubbed under his eye with your thumb. Your senses were singing as you felt his breath on the back of your hand. A long chill went down your back. You dragged your hand down his neck, and onto his partly exposed chest, watching as you felt his heart beating through his chest. You looked back up at his closed eyes and pushed back his wavy, chestnut hair. You gently pinched his chin with your index finger and thumb, and knelt over slowly. The singing got louder the closer your lips got to his.
Even though Queenie was sitting across from you, and you could hear Tina cleaning up the kitchen, you were alone. Sat there with Newt limp in your arms as the seconds, minutes passed where you just stared at him, searching for any signs that he didn't want you to do it. You propped him up more on your lap and shifted in your seat. You could feel your nerves tingling, and your heart pounding. You wished with every fiber in your body that you could stay like this forever. As you leaned in closer, you became more aware of how much you loved him. Your lips finally met, and although more calm than ever, everything inside of you was now screaming with happiness. You felt a deep breath come from his nose, onto your upper lip. He opened his eyes and they met your closed ones, and didn't pull away. No, in fact, he kissed you back more passionately than you had ever been kissed before. He raised his arm up to your waist and gripped your side. He didn't care that Queenie sat four feet away from the two of you. He wouldn't have cared if the whole world were watching. And in a way, to him, the whole world was living it, because you were his whole world.
