《Almarillion》Chapter 5 : Lon&Te

Two guys have fallen in love with each other faces. Both were oblivious to the feelings that were coursing through their bodies; neither had noticed how much they were affecting each other until it was too late. One of them, the one that fell in love with him had already moved on from his past; another didn't seem ready to do so.
Both had known for a long time that something was different about the other and neither had wanted to take the first step, especially since the other didn't feel as strongly for them. But when the opportunity presented itself, they both acted on the urge and let go. They couldn't believe that it worked out in such a way and they found themselves falling in love all over again, but this time there would be no more obstacles.
As they walked along the street together, they laughed and joked about their day. The atmosphere felt right like everything was exactly where it should be. Nothing could change the fact that they loved each other; nothing except for the other person and what he did to change things.
"So, tell me," Lon started, as they walked slowly down the street. His arm was casually draped around Te's waist as he kept him close by his side, "did you get laid at your new place?"
Te blushed red but didn't try to hide the smile forming on his face. "Maybe I did," he replied, "but you'll never know."
Lon laughed and squeezed him closer before saying, "If we weren' walking, I'd be taking you back to my place." He said it almost like a whisper but Te caught it anyway.
Their conversation ended abruptly as Lon suddenly pulled Te towards him, causing Te to jump up into his arms. They both stared straight into each other's eyes and Lon leaned forward, pressing his lips against Te's. Te smiled into the kiss and wrapped his arms around Lon's neck while kissing back. Lon gently pulled away and placed his forehead against Te's, closing his eyes.
"I wish I could've kissed you sooner..." he whispered.
"You still can," Te responded, pulling him in for another passionate kiss.
They stayed like that, standing on the sidewalk, wrapped in each others embrace for several moments. Eventually, Lon broke the moment and turned Te around, leading him towards their apartment building. After entering the elevator and riding up to their floor, the two boys made their way inside and headed to Lon's room. Te sat on Lon's bed and waited while he changed into some more comfortable clothes. When he returned, he climbed onto the bed next to Te and snuggled into his chest, wrapping his arms around him, hugging him tight.

Te placed an adoring kiss onto the top of Lon's head. "What are we going to do with our lives now? I'm not sure if either of us is ever gonna get back up off this bed..." he whispered.
Lon gave a small chuckle and replied, "Well, you're stuck with me for awhile."
He rolled himself off of Te's lap and stood up. "We should probably shower or something so we don't stink too much..." he suggested, making his way towards his bathroom. He quickly showered and dressed himself after putting a pair of shorts and a t shirt on. He walked back over to Te who hadn't moved from his spot on the bed.
"Come on," he said, grabbing Te's hand and pulling him towards the bathroom, "we have to hurry so we won't smell any worse than before."
Lon helped Te out of the bed and led him through the door to the bathroom. "This is a lot different than your place," he remarked.
"Yeah," Te replied, "it is."
After the two boys got cleaned up enough to look presentable, they left their apartment and headed to the cafeteria to get food before heading back home.
When they arrived back home, Lon immediately went into the kitchen and started cooking dinner while Te sat on the couch watching TV. While waiting for dinner to cook, Te looked over to where Lon was standing next to the stove stirring whatever he was cooking. He had his phone in his hand and he seemed deep in thought.
"Hey," he finally said, turning around and looking at Te, "I think I forgot to take my medicine today."
"Oh," Te said, "that sucks, what did you put in it?"
Lon shrugged and turned back to his cooking. "I took a pill and some water... It's fine though, I'll just sleep it off."
Te nodded and returned to his television. After about half an hour, Lon finished cooking dinner and brought it over to the living room table. Te watched him setting up the meal, smiling to himself as Lon sat down across from him. As soon as the food was set out, he dug in. Te tried to keep quiet because he knew that Lon wouldn't want to be bothered when he needed to focus on eating his meal but as usual, Lon wasn't really paying attention to anything except his food.

Finally, he finished eating and grabbed his glass of water. After pouring himself a large amount of liquid, he downed the entire glass in one gulp. Te laughed to himself as he realized that Lon was probably drunk.
"What?" Lon asked, glaring at Te.
Te shook his head and continued laughing, trying to contain his giggles. "Nothing, I'm just wondering why you drank all that water without drinking any water yourself..."
Lon glared at Te and opened his mouth to respond but he was cut off when his stomach growled loudly. He closed his mouth and covered his face with his hands.
"Sorry..." he mumbled, embarrassed.
Te continued laughing while shaking his head. "It's alright, Lon," he replied, reaching across the table to take hold of Lon's wrist. He intertwined their fingers and gave Lon's hand a reassuring squeeze, "let' eat and then we can cuddle."
Lon chuckled nervously and nodded in response. Once they had finished eating, they decided that they wanted to watch a movie. Lon put the TV on and picked out an action movie which they settled on, figuring that they would be able to enjoy the movie better that way. As the movie played, Te leaned into Lon and rested his head on his shoulder, listening to the sounds of the movie and enjoying the feeling of Lon's arms being wrapped around him.
Eventually, the movie came to an end and the credits began rolling. Lon turned off the television and turned his attention to Te. "What do you wanna do next?" he asked.
Te looked at him and grinned widely. "Hmm... maybe we can go make out!" he exclaimed, jumping out of the couch. He ran over to his bedroom and grabbed the blanket from his bed. After running back to the living room, he spread the blanket across the couch and jumped back onto the couch. With a grin, he reached down and took Lon's hand, pulling him towards him. Before Lon could say anything, Te leaned forward and connected his lips with his boyfriend's.
After a couple of minutes, Lon pulled away. "What's gotten into you tonight?" he questioned, chuckling lightly.
"Can't I just want to kiss my boyfriend?" Te replied, raising an eyebrow at his boyfriend.
Lon smirked and pecked Te on the lips. "Of course, you can, baby," he assured him. Te smiled brightly and pulled him back in for another kiss. They spent the rest of the evening doing just that; cuddling on the couch and holding each other tightly, even in the heat of the night.

"One is all, and Two is foul."
The next morning, Lon woke up first since it was already past six in the morning and he needed to wake Te. He quietly crawled out of the bed, careful not to disturb Te. Once he was awake, he got up and went into the living room where he saw Te, who is unconsciously floating on the ceiling.
"T-Te! W-wa..." he stuttered as he attempted to say Te's name. The image of Te floating in midair caused Lon to choke on his words.
Te flew towards Lon, spreading his arms at him. He then choked his boyfriend's neck, effectively causing Lon to drop to his knees as he tried to escape Te's grip. Finally freed, Lon coughed violently and wiped the blood trickling down his throat before looking at Te again. "W-why...?" he groggily stammered out.
"Because I love you," Te answered simply.
Lon blinked a few times and rubbed his eyes. "Wha...what?" he asked, confused.
"I love you, Lon," Te repeated, "and I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
"B...but...I..." Lon stammered again.
"Just shut up and kiss me!" Te yelled, breaking into laughter.
"Y...y...yes..." Lon managed to answer before closing his eyes and leaning forwards.
Their lips met and they began to kiss passionately. No, they're not.
Next morning...
"We found two bodies in the apartment. Apparently, they were a couple who have been in a relationship for 3 years," said an officer who opened a car's door.
"Hmm, the same case as always, huh?" said the person who got out of the car wearing a trenchcoat.
"Yes, sir. The case of 'One is all, and two is foul."
"God bless their souls." The person licked the officer's chin.

War of Seasons
Dorothea Atlin is the young, apathetic leader of the neutral territory of Sirpo, a chilly land hovering above the continuously warring factions of Sacer and Ghuria, whose devastating magics have ravaged their people and lands time and time again. Following a shocking attack and a cruel deception, Dorothea grows her conscience and takes up arms, using her self-destructive ability to manipulate the flow of time to ensure Sacer’s victory. Her growing understanding of war and the two factions is guided by Iree Nobelis, the determined and enthralling commander of Sacer’s forces, Ariana Kingfisher, a steely swordswoman of mixed Ghurian and Sacerian descent, and Rhys Tamlin, a kind but haunted soldier who goes to challenge Dorothea’s self-imposed celibacy and join her on a mutual journey of healing from the tragic legacies of the Atlin family and wars between the nations. Meanwhile, Dorothea’s only friend and deserter from the Sacerian military, Shark Olyen, returns to their homeland to face the family that disowned them and finds more than they bargained for in meeting Cerid Creed, a noble whose duty to his people clashes with his desires in romance and in life, much like Shark’s did long before. As their developing or preexisting loves and differing convictions on how to achieve peace create rifts between these major players, Dorothea experiences a personal revolution that leads her to fight for what she believes is right, no matter the cost.
