We were made of quick lines that only grew at the tip of our tongues. Built of two broken halves that did not part equally, among other things. Built of unsaid I love yous because love is hard for both of us and maybe it wasn't even that. We were two candles that couldn't keep a flame and now realizing that all we made was a bigger mess.
