One month later...

Jeon Jungkook, 27, has been ordered to serve 5 years in federal prison for wire fraud and money laundering. South Korea District Judge Kim Gyeong Hwan sentenced Jeon late yesterday. In addition, Judge Kim ordered Jeon to pay a fine of $34,111,602 plus pay restitution in the amount of $123,259,132 to all his customers who's been using sports car brand named Iseul, the victims of his offenses. Jeon was ordered to report to the Seoul Detention Centre on Aug 9, 2017, to begin serving his sentence.

Yes, he did found guilty by the court when his sentencing hearing was held at Seoul Central District Court yesterday. Why and how he also has no idea about it but what he knew that he was failed to prove the innocence him. The evidence that provided by Mark was quite strong and even Kino and the rest of his side cannot be able to fight them anymore. And here he is, in the prison all alone. Hopeless and helpless. Waiting the time to run fast as soon as possible so that he could back to where he belongs.

Five years he's gonna stuck here. Five years he's not gonna see Y/N and what even sadder and guiltier for him that he will not gonna see Eva and watch she grows in front of him. What kind of dad is he? What kind of dad that he is when his own daughter will not know about his existence? And what kind of dad he is when he himself also could not provide everything that she needs? He will miss all the chances to create every memory with her.

When they opened up his case yesterday, only Kino and his brother were coming for him. Even his own wife didn't come to see him. The last time he met Y/N was when the day Eva was born. And since then she never showed up in front of him anymore. Jungkook knew why she acted that way. He busted! Kino already told him everything about what had happened to her at the directors' meeting. "Don't stare too long at that newspaper," said Officer Jang, wake him up who already lost in his own thought.

He lifted his head up, looking at a detective guy in front of him now. Officer Jang is the only one his man here that willing to help him solve this problem. And here both of them in the interrogation room discussing with Kino on what their next plan for the last time before Jungkook sent to prison.

"There's so much going on within this week! My head feels like it's going to explode! ARGHHH!"

He has been wracking his brain, pulling his hair out thinking about this problem. After he got a sentence for five years, Jennie suddenly appeared and wants to take charge of his position in JK Group. This strange woman used her beauty to seduce him and now disguise her evil intentions to conquer his company that he had been working as hard as he could. He can't give up easily just because he's in the jail right now. Nothing that can't stop him to get everything he wants. Not even Jennie or Mark!

"What should we do now? It's been a month JK Group was left without a President..."

Kino who was silent from the first and only answered any question that been asked suddenly voiced out from the corner of the table. Jungkook knew he also worried about JK Group's future that tends to be bankrupt again.

"What do you think Mr. Jang?"

Jungkook turned his face back to Officer Jang. He needs an opinion from a cop itself as he was the one who will investigate this case silently. Yes, he did hire Officer Jang to find the real criminal illegally. It means that whatever Officer Jang will be doing later was not getting any approval from the police agency itself. He was really thankful that Officer Jang wants to take risks just to help him.

"If you really think that Miss Kim was the one who behind this, I think you should make her the President..."

"Have you lost your mind?" Kino suddenly cut off Officer Jang from talking.

"Let me finish my words first. Why people be using a mouse trap in their house? And not running around to chase that mouse? Sometimes it's better that we should follow their flow in order to catch it. Am I right, Mr. Jeon?"

Jungkook just responded Officer Jang with a nod. Yes, he gets what it means. But still, he doubted this plan and making Jennie the President of his company. People will be saying that he obviously has lost his mind.

"Make her a powerless President. Trick her with something that might grab her attention and from that, we probably could collect some evidence," said Officer Jang more.

"How long does it take to catch her? I can't stay too long here!"

He can't be separated for a long time with his wife and daughter. Five years is a very quite irrational period for him but if it's the only way to keep her safe and not leaving him again then he would take every risk just for her. Sometimes you have to lose the battle to win the war. If you believe strongly in something, fight for it. In time things will fall into place. And sometimes the two people who are truly best for each other will have to face greater obstacles in order to be with each other.

"That's the only one I can't guarantee you with. It might take a year or more,"

He sighed after Officer Jang gave him that statement. So it looks like he got no other choice than to hang himself up here and waiting and waiting until there will be the right time for him to clear his name off. After a not-so-interrogation session with Officer Jang, the room was left for him and Kino only. Officer Jang already dismissed himself and went somewhere else.

"How is Y/N now?"

Every day he keeps asking the same question to Kino. How was his wife? How was his daughter? Are they just fine at home? He then looked at Kino who starting to stand up and walk close to the door.

"Well, you don't have to ask me again, Jungkook..."

Kino will put down the honorifics every time just both of them having the conversation.

"What do you mean?" He looked at Kino who opens the door slowly.

"Just ask by yourself..."

And when the door was completely opened, he saw Y/N was standing in front of him now. He quickly ran towards with still his handcuffed but then his steps stopped right before he could reach her as soon he realized Mark suddenly appeared behind her. Mark? With her? Kino also surprised seeing this uninvited guest. He really wants to tell her that he's been missing her but now with Mark also in this room just making him more burning on the inside. Why he's here?

"I'm here, for one thing, Jungkook..." said Y/N, coldly after she took a sit by herself. Mark was still standing behind her like a bodyguard and gave him a smirk.

"Sit down," said her again, asking Jungkook to sit facing her. Jungkook slowly moved his steps to the chair. He still really can't think what was the reason behind both of Y/N and Mark's appearance today.

"How's Eva?"

He's been curious about his daughter growth since she had been born. Y/N never brought her here and even showing him a single photo of her.

"She is just fine. Don't worry about her, Jungkook. Just worry about yourself instead,"

Those cold words that coming from Y/N making him more intrigued yet a little bit heartbroken. Was this what he gets after what he had fight for her? Why she treated him that way? Was this because of Mark?

"You said that you're here for something. What it is?"

"Let's divorce,"

Just two words can leave him shock to death. Was he misheard about that? Y/N wants what? A divorcement?

"WH-WHAT?"

"You heard me clearly, right? I want a divorcement, Jungkook," said her again, heartlessly.

"Is this a kind of joke to you? Are you joking now right? Please tell me it's not true!"

"Don't you get it, Mr. Jeon? She doesn't want to be with you anymore," said Mark, cynically.

"CAN YOU SHUT UP?! IT'S JUST BETWEEN US ONLY!"

Jungkook shouted at Mark who tends to disturb his conversation with Y/N.

"Mark is right. I don't want to be with you anymore, Jungkook. It's better for us to end this marriage..."

"Was it because of Jennie? She told you that I'm lying about her pregnancy right? Just believe me, Y/N... She's not pregnant for real..."

"I don't care about that... I have just only one rule, Jungkook. Give me the truth, however cold or cruel, or hard it is to hear. I would prefer to have my heart bled and broken if it means I can then move on, than waste a single moment of my time being fooled by a lie intended to preserve any feelings,"

Jungkook looked at her who starting to sob. And now he felt very regretful about what he had done. If he knew this will happens, then it's better for him to tell her the truth.

"I can't divorce you! What happens to Eva? I'm his dad and she needs to know that I do exist..."

Separating with Y/N will also make him separating with his daughter too. He can't let this divorcement happens, not before he sees his child first.

"I already register you as a legal dad for him. Like we both agreed,"

Y/N passed him down a paper. He looked at that paper and read her child's name. Eva Eun Yeong... His tears started to fall down as he realized that Korean name. Y/N puts her mother's name to Eva.

"Eun Yeong..."

"Yeah, you asked me to find her Korean name. So I just put that name..."

"Why? Why did you put my mother's name?!"

If you really hate me until you want a divorcement so why now you show me that you really did still care about me?

"Well, I just think it suits with Eva. Anyways, that name is not a big deal here right now... I want you to let me go legally, Jungkook... Just divorce me..."

He saw Y/N sighing.

"You will be going to divorce me sooner or later, Jungkook. If not now, then you have to divorce me in the next five months. Like in our agreement,"

Agreement? Wait... Was that agreement still work? Oh my god! He forgot to cancel it legally with an authority. How can he never remember that important issue?! That was a very stupid of him!

"And if you still remember what we had agreed, I advise you that you better divorce me,"

"And what if I'm not?"

"You will lose all of your rights as a legal dad of Eva, Jungkook. That's why I told you to listen to me while I'm still treating you nicely,"

No! He can't lose Eva too! She is the one and only his child and he definitely can't lose her! Why Y/N did this to him? It was too merciless for him. He looked at Y/N who started to stand up.

"Don't take it to the heart. I never loved you since we got married, Jungkook. It's just only for your mom's sake,"

His mother? Don't say that Y/N just marrying him because of his mother's last wish?! Because it is just breaking his heart more.

"Please do hate me after this,"

"I don't hate you, Y/N. Never. I'm just disappointed you turned into everything you said you'd never be,"

"I don't give you any choice to consider with. Just divorce me now or later. If the times already up, send me your lawyer..." said Y/N coldly and starting to move her steps out from the room.

"WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME?! I WILL FIND YOU NO MATTER WHAT!"

Sometimes, it's hard to find words to tell you how much you mean to me. A lot of times, I don't say anything at all. But I hope someday, you'll understand, having you is what I live for.
