"What are you doing here?" I asked, scratching the back of my head awkwardly.
He stood at the frame of my door. "Amelia, let me in. She texted me saying the two of us should talk."
Bitch. She's gonna hear a mouthful from me later.
"Jonah, I don't really know what to say." I said, seconds away from asking him to leave.
"You didn't want to move in with me. Why?" Jonah asked, running his hand through his dark brown hair.
I pursed my lips. "We'd only been dating for less than two months. That's enough explanation."
"I was in love with you, Luna."
"We'd only been dating for two months... I didn't, and still don't fee-"
Wait. Was?
"Hold on. You fell out of love with me in the matter of a few weeks?" I questioned.
I may not know much about love, but if there's one thing I know for sure, it's that you can't just fall out of love with someone in a short period of time.
"I guess so." Jonah replied, avoiding eye contact with me. There had to be something more than our little fight going on.
"There's someone else." I said bluntly, watching his cheeks turn red. Now, I didn't feel so bad about doing anything with Vinnie.
I walked out of the room, walking to the front door. "Leave, Jonah. Just leave." I muttered. The anger was boiling inside of me, but I didn't know why. I cheated on him too.
"Why are you getting so mad? Did you not expect this to happen?" Jonah said, raising his voice. I rolled my eyes; I thought we would both be more loyal to one another. The only difference is that my rendezvous with Vinnie happened recently, not right after the fight.
"When did it happen?" I asked. He stood there, looking down at his feet, moving them back and forth from the other. "I said, did it happen?"
He finally paused from his feet, looking into my eyes. "About two days after the fight."
I looked down at my own feet now, feeling my cheeks heat up. I was expecting this, but it still hurt like a motherfucker.
"" I said, becoming angry. At least I was faithful at the beginning of our fight, whereas he immediately went and had sex with some random chick.
Jonah hovered over me, refusing to leave. God-damn Amelia for letting him in.
"No." He said bluntly, not moving a single bone. I rolled my eyes, moving behind him, pushing him out. "I suggest you don't test me today, Jonah." I muttered.
He chuckled, taking his hand and slamming the door, locking it from the inside. I squinted my eyes in confusion, wondering what the point of that was.
He leaned his arm on the wall, now completely hovering over me. I couldn't help but feel a wave of fear come over me; even when Jonah and I were together, I never quite knew what he was capable of.
"I'm not leaving. Not until I get you back." Jonah growled.
I raised a brow. Was he serious? "Jonah, you're never getting me back. Get that through your head, please."

"I said," He screamed, punching the wall above me. I shuttered in fear, finding myself unable to move away from him.
His jaw was clenched, and his fist was now bloody with dust all over it. I didn't know what to do or how to act. Amelia was nowhere to be seen; I had no one to protect me if this got ugly.
"Jonah, you need to calm down." I said in a gentle tone, hoping to get through to him. When Jonah was mad, he could just about anything, which makes this situation all the scarier.
He took his hand, harshly cupping my face. His grip was tight, and I could already sense a bruise forming on my face. "Jonah, you're hurting me." I said, hoping he would remove his hands.
"Fuck you." He spits, taking his hands off, pushing me onto the couch. I froze, watching his fists ball up as he walked towards me.
I got up, running into my room, locking the door. His fists pounded against it, and I could already hear the wood breaking. I had no where to hide, and no one to help me.
"You'll pay for this bitch!" He yelled, finally breaking down the door. I screamed, trying to fight him off.
My hands were flailing everywhere, trying to push him away from me. His group was too strong, there was no way I was getting out of this.
He slapped me across my face, the stinging sending chills throughout my body. I held onto my cheek, resisting the urge to cry.
Suddenly, I saw Jonah reaching for the vase of flowers I had. He took it, throwing it at the wall behind me. I screeched in pain, feeling many shards of glass dig into my skin.
The blood oozed from my cuts. Several on my face, some on my arm. I watched as Jonah's eyes fixated towards them, he ran over to me, examining them.
"Luna, I'm so sorry! I didn't mea-"
I ripped out of his grasp.
Slapping him across his face, I pushed him out of my room, trying to hurt him in every way possible.
I could tell he was sorry, but nothing in this entire world could ever make me forgive what he just did.
"Get the out, and never come back." I said, opening the front door and pushing him out, slamming it in his face.
There was no feeling to describe the one that was spiraling in my head right now. My entire body aches, and dried blood stained my hand. I felt used, and easy.
I ran to the bathroom, examining my face. Dark bags resided under my eyes, and tiny little glass shards scratched up my cheeks.
I stripped out of my clothes, stepping into the shower, letting the warm water fell down my back. I couldn't help but think what it would be like if Vinnie was here...
Our hot, steamy bodies pressed up against one another's, our eyes showing we were desperate for each other.
He snaked his right hand around my waist, grabbing a hand full of my ass with his left. I moaned, watching the hot water drip down his toned chest.
I traced the definition of abs with my finger, my eyes never leaving his. He bit his lips, becoming noticeably hungry for me.

Suddenly, he spun my around, grabbing my boobs with his hands. He began leaving kisses all along my neck, giving a hickey ever so often.
"Fuck." I moaned, feeling him grow against my back.
I spun back around, connecting my lips with his. I ran my hands through his long wet hair, caressing his cheek with my thumb.
"Luna..." He moaned, bringing our bodies closer together.
"Luna!" He moaned once more, causing me to smirk.
"
I shook my head, rubbing my eyes, realizing Amelia just caught me in the middle of a full-fledged sex hallucination.
"Amelia?" I questioned, seeing a figure standing outside the shower.
"You were totally just fantasizing about Vinnie. You pervert." She said, letting out a light chuckle. I scoffed, going back to washing my body off.
"I don't think you have any reason to be laughing, Ms. I texted Jonah without asking Luna first." I sneered.
She sighed, sitting on the toilet as I got out, grabbing a towel.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I knew you wouldn't of gone for it."
I rolled my eyes, revealing my face. "Yeah. You sure made a good call."
"Luna! What the hell happened?" She said as her eyes began widening at the sight of my face which, clearly, the shower didn't help.
I put my hair up in a towel, letting myself go completely nude. In front of Amelia, I didn't care.
"I don't know. You texted Jonah." I muttered, beginning to apply medicine to the cuts.
Admitting I was mad was hard for me. I knew Amelia had done it out of love, but it would've been appreciated if she consulted me first. She knew how violent Jonah could get, it was a disaster from the start.
"Luna I'm so sorry." She said, standing still in the corner of the bathroom. I could tell she felt bad.
I finished applying the medicine, and began brushing my hair out. "It's okay. Just don't do it again, at least not without warning me."
"I promise. I love you Luna." She said before walking out of the room, giving me a kiss on the cheek.
__________
I would be lying if I said sleeping tonight was easy. It was now 2am, and I had been tossing and turning for three hours. It felt like I was losing my mind.
The room was a subtle dark, a faint appearance of the moon shone through the window, adding a sheer lightness to the room.
Right now, part of me wished I had Vinnie's number. He'd probably be the first person I'd text. Instead, I have no one. Saying those words hurt me more than I presumed.
I shifted on my right side, trying to ignore the self conflict I had just created. Inevitably, I still tossed and turned, becoming frustrated.
"For fucks sake, fuck this shit." I muttered in anger, grabbing a random pair of shoes and purse, walking out the door.
The lobby of the building was oddly busy, probably because it was a Thursday night. It was a big night for dates, business meetings, and bar-nights.
I got stares from people, mostly due to the fact that I was in my red polka dot pajama shorts with a grey over-sized sweatshirt and slippers.
"Have a good night, baby." I heard a familiar voice say behind me. I turned around, seeing Vinnie with the same woman from the other day.
I bit my lip in anger, trying to understand why every guy decides to cheat on me. Maybe this is some sort of karma.
I couldn't help but admire the young woman's appearance. She had a beautiful body, covered with a hot pink body con dress. Her long blonde hair kay perfect down her shoulders, and her face had not one flaw.
A wave of embarrassment rushed over me, knowing Vinnie had probably seen me at some point. I quickly rushed to the elevator, pressing the 'up' button.
"Luna?" I heard Vinnie say as he turned to me, a look of shock written all over his face. Diddo.
I acted like I didn't hear him, pressing the 'up' button at least five times more. The door finally opened, letting me in before this could get any worse.
Facing the lobby, Vinnie and I made eye contact. I bit my lip, shaking my head at him. You could see it in his eyes he was sorry, but what did he have to be sorry for?
We're not together, never have been... probably never will be.
The door closed, and I gave Vinnie a light smile. I felt a tear slip down my check and onto my neck, I quickly wiped it away before Amelia would notice anything.
The elevator door opened, and I walked to my apartment, unlocking it with my key.
"Where the hell did you go?" I heard almost immediately as I walked in.
"Nowhere."
Amelia rolled her eyes. "Don't tell me 'nowhere', be honest dammit. I was worried sick."
"I just stood outside to get some fresh air." I said, putting my purse down.
"Then why does it look like you're crying?" She asked, raising a brow.
I bit my lip, trying to resist the urge to yell. Amelia stood there, arms crossed with a look of anger plastered on her face.
"Fine, Amelia fine. I went outside to get some fresh air and started crying because of Jonah, remember him? The guy you invited over for me?" I yelled, trying to keep my cool.
"Amelia, I didn't mea-"
"Don't you dare start that shit with me. You went behind my back, and as a result, I look like this." I said, pointing to the cuts and bruises all over my body.
I knew the way she had thought of it. She was just trying to help, but sometimes I needed to make my own decisions. She butt into my relationship, and now it's even worse than it had to be.
"I'm sorry." Was all she had to say.
I took a deep breath. "Just never do it again, please."
She walked over to me, giving me a hug. I wrapped my arms around her waist, holding her tight. As much as I was mad at her, I couldn't ever lose her. She was my bestfriend.
